Gunboat Balance - Jinx - 12-18-2007 @crateria: well, that is the basic thought behind it. i think ... low on numbers pirates having the heavy weapons - to at least partly compensate for the overwhelming numbers of police / navy forces. i d say there s like 50 police / navy against 1 pirate when its about numbers ( just a feeling how it should be ) - but since playernumbers cannot reflect that - there s the problem. anyway - equipping a ship fully with primary / secondary turrets is by no means so much worse than those high energy cost superweapons - in a long fight, it makes little difference ( or it made little difference in x.83 - now the weapons make much more damage so the cap fights are shorter and more brutal ) Gunboat Balance - chopper - 12-19-2007 @crateria - And yes, they are for all. Just saying that Infernos can't be claimed for Outcasts only. And for the same reason, H. Mortar can't be claimed as Order/Corsair only. But, if one of those would be restricted to only Outcasts/Corsairs, then the other one should be as well. That's all i'm saying. Gunboat Balance - Virus - 12-19-2007 Topic is irrelevant now.
