Experiment Successful - kingvaillant - 12-31-2010 This is the size of the problem...according to some: ![]() But see, as Denelo pointed out, this problem has been there since ever. It's in fact the heart of discovery. Thus, us, elders (lawl), see the problem as this: ![]() As some in prior posts said, you can't expect everything to be fun here. Because someone else fun, for example, involves preventing you from playing for 4 hours (as in, scoring a kill). How sad. It's like in a base camper in FPS. It happens, it may suck for some, but hey, it's predictable that in one game, you may encounter a base camper guy. Something unfair would be to be victim of a fraud, since you cannot really predict it. Unless you have some kind of knowledge on the matter. That's how life is truly wonderful; it's the balance between the good and the bad that makes it so interesting. Because I'll admit it, if it was always "good"/peaceful/heaven-ish, I'd probably get bored of the game in less than a few weeks since if it's only one sided... it becomes static. I believe that discovery is more dynamic than some would admit. Alas, most people only tend to see the "bad" things and THEIR "good" things instead of the greater picture. A question of bias some would say, and they might be right. It's a natural human trait after all. There are some people here that I don't like. Expected after all. But when I do my admin duties and that players that I hate ask me something. Will I deny it just because of a personal distaste? No I won't. Also, you may dislike to hear it, but as some pointed out. Your post cannot be seriously considered by the community and its admins. Fact is, as some pointed out, that a whole lot of your post is written based on a first person perception. Instead of a third person viewpoint. This alas affect the whole credibility of your claims. Experiment Successful - Zapp - 12-31-2010 File this entire thread under tl;dr and just say, why exactly am I on the "good" list? I'm your role model? O.o Experiment Successful - [Cerberus] Illusive Man - 12-31-2010 ' Wrote:Boss, you bitch about PvPwhoring, but you and I got two fighters and payed a visit to Minor. You're so cool. Not really. Actually I'm with Hideki on this, I've changed my opinion, we don't need to change the Admin Team, we need to adapt to it. Experiment Successful - arvg - 12-31-2010 Adapt it to what, though? Experiment Successful - [Cerberus] Illusive Man - 12-31-2010 ' Wrote:Adapt it to what, though? We don't need to adapt it in the sense of integrating something, we need to adapt to their decisions, even if they are boresome. Experiment Successful - arvg - 12-31-2010 Ahh so we adapt to the Admins. Right. I thought you meant making the admins adapt, which would be an odd concept. Experiment Successful - jxie93 - 12-31-2010 Admins and mods who perhaps aren't as diligent as they should be, long time players who troll with impunity, a melodramatic community. You've said it all, these things couldn't have formed overnight and won't change at a glance. I don't have a solution, but it's sad for me to see that our community has grown to this state. Experiment Successful - kingvaillant - 12-31-2010 It has not grown to this state. It has always been at this state. Just that many never really realized this. I remember back in the days when LSF and HF were flaming each others on a recurrent basis. That was in 83... More than 3 years ago. |
