And those so called PVP whores fly it because it's extra pretty, right?

I don't see a reason for every single faction to have it's own shipline. Outcasts are a big enough faction to have it's own line. And I mean their own, not the BW one.

' Wrote:The Borderworld line is the Outcast line, that's why we use it... I sincerely hope that you aren't forgetting the fact that it's been sold on an Outcast base, been flown by Outcast NPCs and shown as the choice for Outcasts since vanilla.

By the way, I wasn't complaining about the Odin, I was merely saying that the Hessians got their own line. Don't be overly-defensive.
Nope, Im not forgetting that. I hope that you arent forgetting that this has been the case with the Hessians as well, eh? And like I said, at least that would give me a reason to fly an Odin (since I find it to be prettier), however..

I do not see why the Sabre has to be an Outcast ship, you can get your own shipline and keep the Sabre a borderworlds ship. Or is there a specific reason you want the sabre? Heh, like I said, its probably getting fixed.

The Sabre is, in fact, op.

[font=Comic Sans Ms]@Daedric and Athenian; No. I believe something is wrong with the system, and am doing everything I can do to fix it. I've made the guns of my primary faction open to all who ask and this fairly unbiased poll was created to display the opinions of the general community. Why? Because that's all I have the power to do. And I will keep doing so until I am permanently banned for disagreeing with the Admin team.

So far however, this thread has broken no forum or server rules and so will continue being bumped again, and again, and again.

The Tech Chart - Athenian - 05-02-2011

No it won't. It will get locked if you bump it again.

You won't ever get banned for disagreeing with anyone here.

You've bumped this thread twice waiting for some sort of Admin press release. Well here you go:

You don't need to keep bumping your thread because the tech chart and the issues it addresses or attempts to are at the forefront of many discussions across the forums. Besides that, the Admins frequently discuss it.

Your poll is flawed because it doesn't identify a clear and broadly acceptable solution to the flaws with the current system. Like I said already - everyone has at least one problem (however minor) with the chart, so a poll with too broad a set of responses paints the solution as being all or nothing, which is clearly not the case.

The tech chart is one imperfect solution to the various demands players make. Some of the issues raised here require further elaboration.

Many suggestions made by players require a great deal of work - coding, writing, balancing. Discussion is simply not enough.

Players have different understandings of roleplay.

Many people, some developers among them, seem to favour a pure tech system.

Many other people regard such a closed system as being restricitive of roleplay.

The special roleplay system is unworkable and unsustainable. If there is to be an alternative srp system, and that is not to say such a system is desirable, it will need to be very different from the previous system.

While I'm at it....
' Wrote:Currently the tech chart is restricting players because they cannot role-play effectively unless they join factions or have admin buddies.

What possible evidence do you have for admins allowing SRPs for their "buddies"? Please submit it a.s.a.p.

Quote:Have any of you ever wondered what admins do with all those credits they make with sanctions and such? Just a thought.

Type a number into a cell in Microsoft Excel. Then change that number to another smaller number. That is how fines work here. The idea that all of these credits go to our accounts is laughable.

Don't get me wrong, boss. I know why you made the thread and your motivation for doing it. I said what I said because 99% of the polls on these forums are ignored so all your doing is yelling at a room of people who have headphones on.

I'm a fan of finding a way to have the game enforce our rules, though that requires more work from our already over worked and extremely under paid developer slave, Cannon.

I sincerely agree with this. Do you really think people who can just type 3 words to get infinite cash would actually bother themselves with transferring cash to their accounts?
