He nods, looking around. Mike gets up out've his seat and begins to walk over to a group of men drowning themselves in liquor. He speaks to Cerulean as he walks away.

Because once you've lost everything, theres no holding back.

Mike grabs the closest man at the table, yanks him to his feet, and pulls back a closed fist...

Cerulean stood up and held his hand over his - holstered - sidearm.
"Mike, " he spoke calmly, "I thought you were the one who just mentioned manners."

A team of security guards came running to the scene. Cerulean signaled for them to stay back.

"I wouldn't call.. This.. Good manners."
He walked a little closer to the table Mike was at.
"Now how about you let that man drink in peace? You might think you're impressing me, but I don't need people who can't control themselves."

RE: The Blood Money - Freeport One Edition - - VerbalArtist - 05-07-2013

Mike's facial expression changed back to normal. He lowered his fist but kept his hand on the man.

Isn't this what you want? A fighter? This man has probably done nothing positive for this world, yet you care about his well-being?

He reluctantly lets go and returns to the table. A tight grip on his glass seems to help him calm down. Now, he looks up at Cerulean, a look of embarrassment on his face.

RE: The Blood Money - Freeport One Edition - - Haste - 05-07-2013

"You're damn lucky I ain't Silver. I doubt you'd have been alive, pulling that off."
He sighed, and sat down in the booth again.
"Yes. I do need a fighter. However, I need someone I can rely on as well."

Cerulean took out his PDA. A few seconds later, he put it on the table, turned it to face Mike, and then pushed it towards him.
On the screen was a photo. A photo of several brutally killed LPI officers - at least, the logo could be seen on their blood-stained uniforms.

"That, Mike, is what happens when people lose control."

RE: The Blood Money - Freeport One Edition - - VerbalArtist - 05-07-2013

He grabs the PDA, lifting it up to escape glare. Several seconds passed before he flipped the device face down, as to hide it from attention.

What exactly am I looking at?

Mike stares at Cerulean with a concerned look on his face.

Are these your doings?

*walks into the bar*
*looks around*
*walks to the bartender*

James: Hello........ my name is James McClallen.
Bartender: Hello there, how may I help you?
James: Give me some iced water please.
Bartender: Sure, just water, or something else?
James: Just water.
* One minute passed *
Bartender: Here you go, anything else for you?
James: Yes, do you know where Cerulean Reaver is? Coquelicot Reaver invited me here to talk with him about flying with Reavers.
Bartender: Ahhh, Cerulean, yes of course, Ill go tell him.......

David Derpkam enters into the bar wearing a swimsuit and waterglasses. He follows the bartender's path.
Waiter.
A cough becomes a half smile while striking the chest.
My name is David. David Derpkam. Get me lemon juice with honey, throat has gone mad.
A few coins magically appear in the bar. He patiently waits until the bartender's back.
Now, you, my fair gentleman. Tell me who I have to speak with to find a job which isn't garden related, if you know what I mean..
Removes his waterglasses as the man tells him about Cerulean, and throws a coin his way.
Then what are you standing still for? Go get him, there are more from where this one came. Tell him it's time to make some noise.

A short haired man wearing a grey a three piece suit walks in and looks across the bar from left to right. He takes a quick look at his wristwatch before strolling over to the bar.

Bartender: "What can I get you sir?"
John: "Alright mate? What whiskey's you got back there?"

John spoke to the tender but kept looking around all the while, scanning the faces he saw.

Bartender: "Hah, well you'l find there's more than just whisky here sir"

The bartender began sifting through the bottles behind the bar...

Bartender: "We have...........Shetland Still, Arranmore, Nessy Grind, Glasgow Malt, Scorcher, Rhyme, Grand Canarian, Kensington Clear and Shrapnel of course"

John turned to the bartender.

John: "What year on the Glasgow?"
Bartender: "816 sir, but I do believe we have a vintage cask bottle from 804 out back"
John: "Excellent, I'll have that"
Bartender: "The whole bottle sir?"
John: "Yes, that'l be fine"
Bartender: "It's 5,400 credits a bottle sir..."
John: "Your point being?..."
Bartender: "Right away sir..."

The bartender disappeared out a door behind the bar and John sat waiting, scanning as if looking for someone.

Amidst the loud chatter, banter and general thuggery of The Blood Money Snake Eyes crept into the bar.
He knew the Reavers were tough, heck, he'd flown with them sometimes whilst going after some good for nothing navy scum, but what welcomed him was horror.
"You've got to be kidding me! 2 million credits for a bowl of whiskey!?" Snake Eyes said with horror.
"Yep, didn't you check the menu?" The bartender said with disgust "Whiskey's the soup of the day, every day"
"Oh, it's a soup? Why didn't you say so. Oh you" Snake Eyes punched the bartender in the arm as a friendly jester, however, the look in the bartender's eyes was not even remotely friendly. "I can drink to that, set me a bowl Jimmy".
"My names not even Jimm-"
"Ssshhh" Snake Eyes whispered, placing his index finger onto his mouth.
The bartender placed a bowl of fiery liquid beside Snake Eyes, he then walked off happy that he didn't need to talk to this weirdo any longer.
Snake Eyes grabbed the bowl by the sides and drank it all down, in one go.
He let out a long sigh, followed by a short pause. After that he then proceed to jump onto a table and exclaim at the top of his lungs:
"WHO'S READY TO GET SMASHED"

(// Continuing from post #70.)

She asks the question and then coughs.

"Actually, scratch that question for now. Ich might have something more interesting for now, a project that could solidify the bonds between a future cooperation between our two companies."

Grabbing her personal datapad Nelly typs in a few commands. Handing it over to Daniel she starts explaining.

"The research und development department of ALG has been bugging me for quite some time now that they're looking for a more suitable, more dedicated place to conduct their 'business', with the latest craze on modular base building Ich see a potential solution to their problems. Ich have visited several of these modular buildings und the space provided by them is actually astonishing. They can hold up quite a lot of room, which could be split between several departments of a company or several."

She grins.

"What you see for you is my pet-project called 'Lindau Station', Ich have been playing with this idea for quite some time und was hoping to start with this sooner than later, to get the boys und girls from the R&D department off my back for a while. Although Ich haven't decided on a location yet, Ich have several points in mind. Perhaps we could make this as a joint operation between our two companies, sure, ALG would be the primary owner, unless we could strike a deal with this.

"In return this project is rather feasible und easily to construct, making this a perfect solution to getting our bonds tighter, which would be both our benefit for the project you initially contacted us. What do you say?
