You're assuming that someone is looking for it though Verg. Zoners, Junkers, BHG and possibly some miners would be the only ones exploring a minefield looking for jumpholes. Note that if any one of these groups found it, they would most likely not share it, rather they would exploit it themselves.

if it was IMG i could see them telling their allies about it and thus they would be amongst the first corporations finding the ne house and would give them the best first impressions compared to the ones who would only find out later on
Junkers, Zoners and BHG would probably keep it to theirselves as why else would the share some potential new allies and new places for income to others?

WOuldn't be so sure about the IMG. They reached the far-out Taus pretty fast and set up mining bases there. (Yes, I still think it's IMG being da spies). IMG got pretty much left to fend for themselves - BMM wants the mineral fields, Kusari wants hell knows what... If I'd be a miner, I'd keep my mouth shut and do plain business with the rediscovered French.

I vote that its the Hackers, they fit the Anglo-saxon description and they are prevalent in Britonia and Liberty

unfortunatly wasnt the Lane Hackers formed from ex-Ageria employee's? which means they already know their origin
plus i actually rarly see them in Bretonia surprisingly since they are actually next door to the leeds system with the jump hole
although i havent travelled much in Manchester so they could be in there somewhere
could it be Borderworld Exports? who not only ship within all of sirius but also explore the borderworlds. have they re-discovered their real roots?

Even if someone located a Jumphole it would still mean sending through a probe to locate the other end.
Maybe they did send a probe through and what came back wasnt what they were expecting.

but still since they actually do something the other House shipping companys do not and that is "Exploration", from what i gather all the others just trade away while BoWex also do alot of exploration so ask yourself "why would a shipping company want to explore??" and since they are also a shipping company that means they could also have links to Liberty :)

Because something that Mjolnir wrote confused me.
-Why is it a monarchy? It doesn't make sense to me at all. France is a republic, and it seemed that vanilla followed these concepts.
USA - Liberty (Democracy and civil rights code)
UK - Monarchy (as they really are, constitutional)
Germans - Chancellor in both cases
Kusari - well, here's an exception.
So, is there a specific reason for it to be Monarchy?
I mean, if there is I'm fine with it. For example, they could have a pirate faction that fights for the revolution, or smtn.
-Is it going to have it's own Bounty Hunter faction or similar?
700 years would do it's job and some moneymakers would show up to hunt dangerous people for money.
If we assume that BHG never discovered the new colony, then we should assume they developed their own, similar, guild.
As for stuff not related to a new house..
-Is Hogosha Black Dragon VHF going to be implemented?
-Are there plans for improving some weapons as suggested in numerous threads?
That would be it, for now.
I may be a bit skeptic about this new house, but I like the idea of implementing totally new stuff.
