One of the Recon boys reported in at Mactan today that we had a massing of LSF and SA troops today out at Los Angeles. Suspecting treachery, the commander of the Serapis ordered all fighters to scramble. The Eclipse, Ensign Photuin, an independent Blood Dragon Azuma Hiraki, and the mighty battleship Thick-as-a-Brick responded to the call, massing at the Vespucci jumphole.
A Strategy Session was held, and Photuin made the rather brilliant suggestion to take the back door in from Cortez. As we jumped to Cortez, the Liberty Navy sent a small reconniasance force led by the Washington into Magellan. They realized their mistake too late, however, as by that time our mighty battle group had moved on Los Angeles. The first to go down was the Liberty Dreadnought Ordos; Serapis and Eclipse flanked and herded in in the right direction, and Thick-as-a-Brick opened up with her mighty guns and blew the oxygen straight out of the hull.
At this point, a Liberty Cruiser, the Loky, another Gunboat, and several fighters moved in on our position off of the Ordos's burning hulk. The Loky, once again, was herded into line by the Eclipse and the Serapis, and Thick-as-a-Brick's main cannons showed no mercy. 'Twas at this point that the only Hellfire casualty, the honorable Dragon Azuma Hiraki, in an attempt to capture the escape pod of the Loky, was caught in the explosion from the forward gun.
After this, the fighters became very annoying, and the three or four of them were expertly taken down by Photuin, Serapis, and Eclipse. Washington showed up, and was promptly chased down and destroyed.
At this point, a very unusual thing occurred... the temporal echo of the Loky appeared, and begged us to return to it some strange item called a "Name Change Certificate"... we ejected some random scroll we found in our cargo hold and it ran off with it, disappearing into the void.
At this point, the battle group returned to Vespucci. The entire battle group became intoxicated on America's bar, and went to sleep well-sated.
