I guess they could implement a system to return them to the omicrons, provided they docked in a would base nearby. One way jumps to the houses, base secured returns a la /conn

But if anyone wants to use the gate to dock to a base in Drake (Inverness -> Drake) and one day later he wants to return?

Then he has to fly back or, even better, doesn't dock there. You can make multiple ships for multiple locations. Smile
