RE: Tour de Cambridge - TheSauron - 07-06-2017 Caroline looked briefly confused, but then seemingly realised the cause. - Oh, It's okay, John. It was an excellent performance. - she got up as well, picking up the book. RE: Tour de Cambridge - Victor Steiner - 07-07-2017 ''Yeah...sorry'' he said clasping his hands. ''Did you want to see the garden?'' RE: Tour de Cambridge - TheSauron - 07-07-2017 Caroline managed to hide her surprise by the apology. - That'd be lovely. Is there anything else in the estate, except the gardens? - she asked, taking a few steps towards the exit. RE: Tour de Cambridge - Victor Steiner - 07-08-2017 He led her out the door and down the hallway ''There are the lakes and then the forest, which is a natural reserve'' he said leading them on. A few minutes later they stepped outside. They were nearly surrounded by hedge and roses, a few tress scattered here and there gave cover and a small stream marked the middle of the garden. ''Take a wander?'' he said leading the way. RE: Tour de Cambridge - TheSauron - 07-08-2017 - Gladly. - she said, following his lead into the gardens. Her look swept over the area, briefly stopping at what groups of flowers she could see. - Lakes... How many lakes are there? - she asked while they walked down a pathway. RE: Tour de Cambridge - Victor Steiner - 07-09-2017 ''There are four of them'' He said passing an old oak tree, ''they had to be altered slightly over the years, erosion problems I think, but they are mostly the same. Come, what say you about the house thus far?'' RE: Tour de Cambridge - TheSauron - 07-10-2017 Caroline looked over the tree as they passed by. - I like it. It looks somewhat intimidating, but the interior is very lovely. It's very spacious, too. Everything here is very spacious. It's a little unsettling, but I think I will manage. RE: Tour de Cambridge - Victor Steiner - 07-10-2017 ''Forgive me for asking, but Gaian stations...what are they like? and, as silly as it may be to ask also, would you like to live of Gaia oneday?'' RE: Tour de Cambridge - TheSauron - 07-10-2017 - They're a different world, John. A pretty cramped one, yes... But otherwise better. I think. It's hard to tell objectively, given people are happy with this... Thing that runs this world. I personally think it's better. Hm. - she emitted at the end, smiling a little. - I'm sorry, John. I have a tendency to digress. They're a little cramped, as I said. But the conditions onboard are good. And yes... Yes, I'd love to live on Gaia one day. Although in a more temperate area. Maybe even almost at the poles. The equatorial forests are way too warm and humid for my taste. RE: Tour de Cambridge - Victor Steiner - 07-10-2017 ''I like it when you digress'' he smiled ''Adds flavour to the conversation. You were saying they are better, how so?'' |
