These cancer people are usually refering to the over and over and over appearing nazi advocators, who either do it for the sake of trolling or because they don't know where the border of fine taste is or because they are convinced. In the three years of me being here, there has always been the issue with people using nazi pictures, making nazi references, memeing around as nazi rheinland and some of them without any shame. This was probably always an issue and will always continue to be an issue, and I feel that a good amount of yes-voters (including their alts) see this as much of a good base for repeating history as much as any no-voter. I doubt the change of government will change it to the positive, just by how controversial this already is.
That being said, I still don't see why this change is needed, nor do I see good arguments that support it. I only see people asking for change for the sake of change. But this feels like forced change out of boredom without offering much good in return. Except that we can now divide the community between cancer and nazis.

Some of the comments here are examples of why many in RM want absolutely nothing to do with certain players and/or factions. Discord and forums behavior count just as much, if not more, as ingame actions.
As for the OP: I will just go along with the flow. In the end really it’s just a title and few words on info cards.

As Bannorn said earlier, this isn't change because of change. But because since republican rheinland existed it hasn't tried to be fully independent, or right the wrongs since the fall of imperialism. So after 150 years, the ppl naturally can be fed up seeing foreign corps controlling Rheinland assets.
So naturally they would want imperialism back or better alternative. It will be interesting, and a lot of changes, and new directions for Rheinland and people dealing with Rheinland.

Personally I feel that going off of the strict zodiac is a very poor method of understanding the self. I personally use Moon Signs to accurately understand my position in this existence. I come out to be Moon in Taurus, a apt description I feel due to it's prevalence in-

I usually reserve the term 'cancer' here for people who genuinely deserve it, like certain rule abusers or genuine leaches on the community. I'm not of a mind that either side is cancerous, though this can certainly be handled in a more diplomatic and cooperative manner.
Frankly, I don't care if this proposal does go through or not. Seeing as I can't log due to RL, I'd miss out on a lot of the potential in-game encounters. However, it does offer a level of intrigue for Rheinland that not a lot of houses get these days. cough, Kusari, cough
The only thing I'd suggest if this does go through is to separate each lawful Rheinland ID into two, one for either side:
Federal RFP, RM and MND
Imperial RFP, RM and MND
This way, both side's representations of the factions can be shown, and folk who want to RP a particular faction don't have to jump through 15 hoops just to get it underway.
It also makes a decent amount of sense.

I found that it was perfectly OK to entertain nationalistic, imperial, oppressive regimes as long as they were not Nazi Germany or in any way referencing traits specific to Nazi Germany or what Nazi Germany did.

Funny as a lot of "once-perma-banned" people like to call others "cancer", when they are the ones that been (in some cases multiple times) kicked out from server for being "cancerous".
Imperial RP is alive for *YEARS* (Tabris started it long ago) and has nothing to do with some "nazi-thing" as some lols (some "cancers"?) like to call, pretty much the opposite: a constitutional monarchy instead.
Was supposed to be a peaceful transition, with just cool RP around the family of the gone Emperor, without any change on how the Bundestag worked ooRP, but "some" leader saw on it its chance to, well, be more than leader of a single faction (half dead btw).
It has nothing to do with "power" as i had effectivelly the voting majority alone, i was defacto "the law" when the RP been brought to public, and to prevent this "civil war" ive passed the lead of all Rhein factions to other ppl.
To Chuba, Pillow and few others willing to "gut Rhein leaders" out their factions i just have to say: make your factions, make em great, and take current factions place, if you can, and if seems too much work for you, look on a mirror to see whos really "cancer".
I would advise people to at least read a bit of the past RP before posting crap, and to look to own tail before trowing insults on faction leaders, as many of those insulting are everything but a good example of *ANYTHING POSITIVE* let alone Official Faction Leader...
People that lacked capacity to create, save, recreate, mobilize or even keep alive a faction more than few months talking of others as if they been proeficient leaders or a positive influence on server is at least hypocritical...
If the way devs approached the idea is how the ones doing the RP expected? Nope
It can be fun? Sure
Depends on how it will happen and how players will interact, as always...
