I was told to post here as DHC has been reformed.
This is a tricky one for me to give feedback on, So I guess I'll just start by setting the scene: I found a DHC transport, and as per my usual routine, I asked him if he needed an escort, and pirated him when he refused. The DHC called in two RM and after a brief fight, I ran away. Now, Keeping a pirate talking, while calling in backup is a clever, and probably realistic choice. I have done it myself. The thing is, this tactic only worked because I talked with him, explained my reasons, and was willing to negotiate to lower my demand. It was obvious what he was doing from looking at the player list, and if I had not paid attention to the fact we are not supposed to be able to see it INRP, and simply said "3 mill or die" as soon as seeing him, and started shooting, I would have killed him/got the money long before any backup could have arrived.
What he did is precisely what neccessitates pirates to use the "2millordie" tactics. And traders such as yourselves are often the biggest complainers about such tactics. Personally I dont mind such tactics, though I find them boring. But due to what he did, you have reminded me it is really the only tactic worth using with DHC in future.
So to sum up, he did nothing WRONG, and I am not ANGRY... just disappointed :P using such tactics will force others to use tactics on you, you may not like, do not be surprised, or complain when it happens. I am a little put out at the waste of time, but I learnt my lesson, and I'll get over it. At least I can congratulate you on having... "Sensible" RP!

Hmm, I thought great mining/manufacturing corporation, in fact richer than Rheinland goverment, corporation which produce in cooperation with Republican all RM ships, highly involved in Rheinhardt's regime, company which bribed most of politicians, fiercely fighting with Hessians, gave their captains communication codes to closest Militar patrol, for safety. We were in Omega 7, I just contacted Briesen and they forwarded S.O.S. signal to Ulm, before RFP fighters started nearby passing RM patrol dispatched 2 ships to Omega 7.
But I might be wrong...
