Greetings. I have sent this message hoping that I would finally find the surroundings that suit me. But I'll start from the beginning. My name is Miguel Llorens, and I originate from the planet Malta. As an Outcast, I've seen a lot of things which would shock someone: slavery, ruthless piracy, dirty business. But the worst thing I've seen is the war with no reason. Yes, I am speaking about the war between the Corsairs and the Outcasts. It started so long ago that I doubt that anyone would actually be able to state the reason that caused the war. However, this reasonless war still goes on, and I have to live up to the expectations of the other Outcasts, who perceive this war as something natural.
The time has come for me to say "Enough!" to myself. I simply can't accept the motiveless war with the Cretans, who were and are our brothers and sisters. I tried to stay away from the frontline and do something else, but whatever I undertook, there was always something to stop me doing that. Recently I have realised that I simply have no place among the Maltans. Basically, I am looking for a place where I can find peace, and, more importantly, for people who would share my ideals. After I heard rumours about you, I have decided that getting in contact with you was worth a try.
Of course, in return for the place I can call home, I would offer my skills. They said I was not so bad a pilot, and I believe my abilities in that field can help to further your agenda. Besides, while I alone couldn't make a difference, I am convinced that together with other people who share my ideas I would be able to actually make an impact.
I am waiting eagerly for your reply.

Omicron Theta has always been a battleground for the Outcasts and the Corsairs. My people lived in this battleground, afraid from their unbalanced neighbors, powerless to resist them. My home Freeport 9 kept fueling the war by allowing these Outcasts and Corsairs to dock, giving their warriors a safe haven, where they can refuel and buy ammo to kill each other, pirate and enslave innocents, just a few clicks away.
Their drunk captains took a few shots at the freeport for fun when they felt like it. Pop a few zoner defenders and say sorry later. They were pardoned easily. Just a few days ago, corsairs decided to attack a few outcasts right next to my home, ignoring the rules we set for the safety of our people. Our leaders do not have the power, will, or interest to stop these warhungry nations, they cover before their mighty fleets and fill their pockets with their trade.
I refuse to help these idiots fight their wars and hurt countless innocents in the process. I can not stop them as a Zoner, so I left my home. I decided to sign up with you because I heard that Reapers think the same way as me, and they take action to stop these wars.
I used to be a member of defender patrols for Freeport 9, I know how to fly my ship, and I know my way around the Omicrons. I hope you will find my skills useful.
