Question:
Is the new Wasupu in the mod as far as the deadline is concerned? It's not on the list, and I've not seen "Wasupu" mentioned.

I can answer that one, no. I have all of Sasaki's model files EXCEPT the Wasupu for the Renzu line, but I think Dartstriker was doing some equally good looking ones anyway.
Regardless, Renzu is getting no love in .86 to my knowledge.

Renzu is getting no love because no one has actually submitted ships to replace the Renzu ones (With the exception of Jinx, who put in nice ships, that I felt just didnt fit right for Renzu. That one is on me.)
Tycho, you have the files, great, are the models complete with textures, working hitboxes and hard points? A picture in a thread is not a submission. People like to give the dev team a hard time because someone makes a thread and puts up a pic of a ship they think looks good, and then the ship doesn't get into the mod. Truth is, when most of these complaints are made, there is no submission made at all, and when there is it is usually of sub par quality. How many ship threads on the forums do you see that include actual files with them, and not just screen shots of something, most often not even in game.
So, blame me, or blame the dev team that Renzu isnt getting any love, (that you all know of) but the truth of the matter is, the only person with any right to complain about Renzu not getting new ships is Jinx.
Edit: Oh, and by the freakin way, how could I forget, Renzu is getting a super awesome sexy liner.

I know you're Part of the Developer Team and the Developer Team does all the Developing Stuff, but why was there no Thread about it? Why don't let the Community take a at them and then decide if the Line fits in or not. Not only that we probably had better looking Ships and lots of People here want to help, but can't. So this could've been something they can take Part in.
It would've been something that could've saved lots of Time, lots of Work and would maybe even make the Game better. And People would feel more integrated for 4.86.
As far as I know you are still accepting Submissions, or not. So how about doing some Vote like that now? We never even saw these Ships.

ship submissions ARE closed. There ARE some exceptions (as you pointed out, the LABC, which was a special case) for a variety of reasons which lead to new models being implemented.
Any new submissions will not be added, I really want to get this mod out now.
furthermore, I will promise I'll get a list out in this thread either tomorrow, or day after at the latest.

I must ask, did Jinx submit all the files required for the Renzu line?
If so, I find it kind of ridiculous that you're keeping hideously textured imported ships, just because 'It doesn't fit Renzu'. Are you saying the Homeworld ships fit Renzu better? They don't even share a common theme with each other. Other than being ugly.
With EightSix taking this long, we can't expect EightSeven to come out for a good decade or so, so when exactly are these imports being replaced?
I heard somewhere (albeit a long time ago) that getting rid of the imports was a priority.
What happened to that?
