Hey! that looks really cool!

...but no...

less rust & just a few scuff marks is all I need.

when I finish putting the thing together, I would like to have it look like it belongs in a staff area of a hotel.:)

I'll go get busy, & get back to ya

(@ Dopa::Ppasta splaters indeed!:D)

ok, this is just a throw-together of what I picture in my head w/o wall textures & everything:

There are things I specifically want to do w/ it, but in a nutshell, I really just want it to look 'used' & functional.

I have the original .psd's & will offer up a workable file by tomorrow:)

aha I thought it was some sort of butchery house using sulfuric acid in their food and all, you know XD

Ok, Here's a better version of what I want:

I post this as a guide, cause I screwed up & lost a bunch of resolution.

Could'ja take the 5-6 individual originals & recreate this?

Like I mentioned, I want everything to feel really 'used' & not have this current cut-&-paste look to it.

Dents & scuffmarks on the door
A bit of dust & dirt on the signs
some small finger smudges on the keypad

If possible, maybe a small glimpse of something in the left window (think of the red room behind the door as a type of airlock leading to the kitchen itself) your discression on this one. By the way...I don't know if I pulled it off properly, but the windows are rough-cut glass

It would be cool if you maybe could add hinges on the door, but it's not a must.

Lastly, I would much rather have the words on the door appear as if someone spraypainted it on, using military stencils(w/ a little bit of messy fuzz to it.)

I'm thinking that although it seems I'm asking alot, I'm also thinking that you would probably breeze right through it.

Whaddya think?

I'd need the original psd files. all this in one layer will be extremely hard to do I think.

Xing's Signature&Art Company - Marburg - 03-01-2008

I have the .psd for the door (6 layers) & the stone sign (2 layers) the rest are just .jpg's

Just PM me & let me know the method you want to use to recieve 'em:)

Could use a bit of blurring and feathering.

where? stains?

Xing's Signature&Art Company - Marburg - 03-01-2008

Ok:)Now it's pretty close to matching the pic in my head:yahoo:

The door is better than I imagined, & the color on the stone is really cool!

my only real issue is w/ the carbon stains above the door itself:

could'ja maybe make it look more (for lack of a better term) realistic? ...what i mean by that is this-

Everytime the door opens a wall of heat escapes...so, I imagine the carbon would collect on the top area around the door in the same way it collects on something you would put a match to.

Oh! & the smiley face graffiti needs to be put back on the sign 'cause it's a big part of the old post I'm adding the pic to.

other than that, I'm very happy with it:)

TYVM Xing!

::edit- by the way...good job taking the manufactuers logo on the doors corners & tweaking them into the hinges I wanted...I never thought of that::
