How about we make the Nomads open use - Osilon - 04-10-2011 Lets crunch some numbers here. Nomad Turret: 20000 Hull Damage, 10000 shield damage. Marduk: 15 turrets. SNAC: 132000 Hull damage, 66000 shield damage. 15 x 20000 x 1.00 speed = Two SNAC shots every second. You say the nomad ships aren't stronger. In fact, the nomad ships and weaponry are the strongest in the game, equaling or beating codename weaponry. Their LF is the only LF with class 10s, and is a high-power killing machine. Their gunboat is a powerhouse, as well as the cruiser and battleship. The Marduk is capable of shredding ships that cross it without a second thought. So yes. The nomad ships -are- as powerful as they seem. The reputation is built on experience. How about we make the Nomads open use - Bootsiuv - 04-10-2011 Again the real problem I see with this.... Activity aside, this is a BAD IDEA. Keepers have open recruitment, perhaps those who like this idea should take a half a day to read the Nomad lore, and apply for the keepers. More keepers would make everyone happy, and it wouldn't ruin my immersion. This mod already took a hit with the mining changes (anyone been to dublin lately? It went from one of the most interesting systems to one of the most boring overnite), and this would only drive more people away. How about we make the Nomads open use - Osilon - 04-10-2011 Marduk Power Core= 9,000,000 Marduk Recharge per sec= 300,000u/s Marduk Power Drain per salvo, minutes recharge= 487500 Number of salvos fired per full core =18(.5) Total damage for whole core: 14175000 Time it takes to recharge: 30 seconds. Some more stats for you there. Oh, not to mention the tried-and-tested method which states: Jinkusu is impossible to miss, mortars are dodgable.
