Exactly. A few things have changed with it though, so please see the Google Doc sheet for an up-to-date status.
Main thing that's changed is that the tag is now [M]-callsign|WG
We will be using the faction right for a secondary ID to have a mercenary ID with Molly tag. This right also means that we are bound to Molly tech row (not mercenary ID tech row), which should also allow us usage of Molly tech (please, if an admin could clarify this that would be fantastic). We're discussing the usage of BW tech too, since that was written before we thought it would be the same overall faction.
Also, mercenary ID because it is a merc outfit, plain and simple, and will be reaching out to get jobs in all four Houses. Any other specific questions, shoot 'em my way.

They're Mollys who feel that either Dublin is at a stalemate and their talents can be used elsewhere or that the sudden and constant changes in leadership just promises that they won't be able to secure Dublin's independence. They're Mollys by birth and allegiance, but they're guns for hire at the same time because working in Dublin is pointless to them. May as well go work for the Rogues, Hessians, Hackers, or whoever and build ties between those groups and the Mollys (and generate credits for themselves and the Mollys while they're at it).

So basically they are mollys who stopped believed in Molly goal and went killing for money, but they want to be identified as mollys so they can use their equipment.
Why just not going full merc, as "ex mollys" who left the mollys struggle.
Also, I don't think Mollys have ships to give around so people who stopped believing in their fight can use them for their own agendas.

They haven't stopped believing in the fight, they just believe that it can't be won as it's been carried on. They fight in their own way. It wasn't part of the [M] when I first thought of the idea, but after talking with Avalanche and another guy in the [M] chat it would be a good way to not only give the Mollys more to do, but to boost activity.
And the identifying as Mollys isn't for the equipment.

You cannot use Molly tech without Molly IDs or permissions. IFF is merely showing affiliation. You can however request officiality with Merc ID and listed Molly technology to get incorporated SRP after becoming official.

I can't see how going around whole galaxy killing stuff for their won pocket is helping Mollys. I would rather see this as side group with Molly IFF and being Mollys inRP and nothing else. (No Eqipment, no ships and no tag from Molly faction but their own). Other mollys would stop respecting those who leave them by themselves.
And i hardly see how your group killing someone in other three houses is boosting activity for those pirating/fighting in Bretonia.

And my answer is quoted from Igiss:
"All ship and weapon choices are subject to the restrictions belonging to the faction's primary ID, NOT the specialized IDs. The specialized ID does NOT provide access to ships or weapons that are forbidden to the primary ID. "
To me, that means that instead of following the Mercenary ID row on the tech chart, you follow the Molly one in this case. I could be wrong. The admins can correct me on that. But that's how I'm reading it.

For the 'own pocket' part, as I mentioned over Skype a set percentage of all claims will go back to the Mollys. That was the plan from the start. For 'leaving them by themselves' there still would be activity in Bretonia and helping with the Molly movement, but this isn't restricted to that. I'm not sure what you mean by what you'd rather see exactly, a side group with the IFF but nothing else?

Nobody uses primary ID for technology only. As far as I know. Well. It's your faction. Didn't liked it from start and I'm still working on my own written perception of it. Hopefully my concept will attract people at least same as yours did.
