Yeah a fighter wing doesn't have the authority to regulate caps for a whole "house" end of story. If you seee someone OORP talk to them or report them. I would consider it extremely OORP if I saw an outcast kill anougther outcast because he felt that his RP was lacking. That isn't your right.
For the RM makeing their ships exclusive, they are fine ships but have no use outside of Rheinland. So noone wants them outside of rhienland for the most part. And yes, they have gotten flak for this policy and yes indies still fly them.
When is this supposed time when there are a fleet of indie Dessies running around. The most I have ever seen together is 2 and that was once.

Fighter wing... with a pair of battleships (one under construction) and a few destroyers? Yes, we have several Sabres/Falcatas/Scimitars, but still, we're more than any old fighter wing. We're basically the head of the MNF, so that arguement doesn't count.
I'm tired of people saying there's no problem, so from now on I'm just going to ignore that argument...

Honestly, why protect people who don't know RP? It's a ROLEPLAY server, and if you don't roleplay, you shouldn't be here. Seeing as we can't just kick people off the server (and I wouldn't go this far), we might as well restrict them. Anybody who RP's, and this has been stated numerous times in this thread, is not going to be stopped for buying the capital ship.

It isn't about protecting someone who does not RP. Like I said, if they are not, talk to them or SS. It is about someone who has decided that they suddenly want to restrict people from buying ships unless they feel that they have what they think is acceptable RP. As popular and powerful and "we have a couple BS" as the 101st are, they are NOT the law for the Outcast and DO NOT have the authority to regulate that. If an Outcast from the 101st attacks a different Outcast for something regarding this, it should be considered OORP and reported. It is like Liberty Navy attacking LSF because they do not like their ship choice.

The law for the Outcasts? Not wholly, definitely not the law for the civilians on Malta. However, they are the law in the Maltese Navy, or Army, or however you want to call it. Battleships and Destroyers are purely for military purposes, and as stated, are to be inherently restricted. If we can't control our own ships (as head of the Maltese Navy), what are we? Nothing.

As I've said before, we all have a sense of RP, it's not what we feel, but what we know. We can tell the good from the bad, in RP and in life. I'll even go so far as to say if someone thinks we've made a bad call, they can tell us and show us their point of view on the matter.

OOC: Do we agree that all Discovery RP players have a responsibility to self police and try to help others improve their RP?
If a players RP seems out of alignment with the general consensus of correct RP for their chosen faction, (and they have no credible back story posted to explain their behavior) then it should be perfectly acceptable for the established and official factions to take steps to correct the problem players behavior through any means that do not break server rules.
Starting with asking for an explanation for why someone is flying around in one of the most powerful ships in Sirius seems reasonable to me, and doing so on the forum rather than system chat is certainly the best start for that.
It appears to me that Epyons post is an attempt to bring a particular group of official factions together to do just that.
Please correct me if I am wrong in my thoughts here.
