Good stuff, I'll be glad to finally use my firefly again. Are they still calling it a firefly by the way?

Awesome! Nice, sturdy ship.

Any chance you'll post modelling tutorials?

Big Grin

Best tutorial is effort. Just get mad at the model in game you hate and try to make own!

Also, Croft, I`ve scratched the infocard, dig it please back!

Very good job there.

It's quite a rare case where I've got nothing to add to this model looks - it's that good and perfectly fits Freelancer aesthetics. Clean looks, utilitarian, no silly decorations. Sturdy and solid.

Just make sure smoothing groups (vertex normals) are converted correctly into CMP/3db, Milkshape plugins are notorious for screwing that up completely.

I`ve spent 3 hours adding triangles here and there for that case...Did all possible for such a complex mesh.

Actually there is much better way than generating redundant and unnecessary geometry - exporting it from 3Ds max directly instead, vertex normals are then retained correctly. If you want I can do that for you, clean up the mesh and get it converted properly into FL.

Everything is already done, besides, this was my last work in Sketchup.

Sadly I don't have a copy of the infocard, it was only a quick job and as such didn't save it. I'll make another quickly and post it.
