Thank you for your reply honorable admirals, I completely understand that it is up to Mochizuki-sama to decide when and where to move Matsumoto, I just wanted to remind High Command that Matsumoto can be assigned for another mission since Otaru border station and KSP are ready to perform their duties in Hokkaido. I'll move to Nagano right away and take command of Battle-cruiser group.

Reporting per request from HC. Since KDS-Hyuga was recently put back in action after prolonged repair I took command of it and currently we are located on the Liberty border. Battle group was recently fully replenished, however a lot of new pilots are just from academy and haven't seen battle yet. Their loyalty to Republic is unshakable, however they need to gain some experience first.

Battle group will remain on the Liberty border until further notice.

Konnichiwa,

I currently perform my duty as admiral of the Sado fleet and commander of the battleship Sado, overseeing the Tohoku theatre.
Our current status is all green and we maintain a strong position in the system, managing to mostly contain the alien threat at Heaven's Gate.
As the blood dragons are currently focusing their attention on Nagano, we do not expect any serious aggression or large movement in Tohoku from their side.

I think we are in no position for a strike on Heaven's Gate and as such we shall simply rely on our nimble fighters and reconnaissance craft to survey the system and prevent the infected from leaving it. If additional manpower on the Nagano or Kyushu front is needed, the Sado fleet can spare some of its heavy assets and only keep a small escort as it is unlikely to be in direct confrontation with an enemy fleet.

The situation in Tohoku is stable and that is unlikely to change any time soon.

I managed to meet officer Shin Takeru, captain of the KDS-Shinano and member of the 3rd Battlecruiser Division, stationed in Kyushu. After inquiring of the current situation of the division and the 2nd Fleet as best as he could provide, I bestowed him the rank of Itto Kaisa on behalf of the Admiralty and the command of the mentioned Battlegroup, so he could lead an operation I've assigned him.
I will remain in Kyushu for a few more days, before heading back to handle project Houshou.

Takeru-kaisa will count with the support of the 4th Logistics Division, the 112th Naval Guard Wing, and the 85th Engineers Division.

Today I went on my third, but first noteable patrol.
Just a few moments after I launched into space a civilian under the name of Yvette Schreiner contacted me about a possibly pirating gunboat in Shikoku.
I immediatly went to check out on it and already called the Hayabusa and Ryuzoji-san for assistance. Arriving at the suspected location of the pirate nobody was there. But to my luck said pirate kept pretending he was some sort of renegade and had locations of some Outcast via private communication systems. Stupid as this gaijin was, he even told me where he is.
Yvette Schreiner offered to come along since the whole situation smelled like a trap. At the same time we arrived, the Hayabusa arrived as well and we managed to clarify the situation, result was the Montante-class gunboat with the callsign Deadly.Nightshade getting escorted out towards the Kepler system.

Sadly this wasn't enough to make him understand as he kept contacting me a while after. Claiming that he will keep an eye on us with his "system wide scanner arrays" he got in Shikoku. Crazy person. I am very suspicious about him.
Before I forget it I also chased a Golden Chrysanthemum pilot twice, sadly she managed to escape into areas with too high hostile presence both times. Her name was... uhm. Cristina Martelli.

Itto Kaii Ryuzoji reporting from Battleship Myoko, and I bring forward this report regarding suspicious incident in the Shikoku system.

During my patrol in the Shikoku star system, I encountered a Golden Chrysanthemum fighter by the lane between Planet Junyo ad Deshima Station. The enemy fighter immediately ran away upon sighting, I attempted to intercept it in return, following it until it reached the station named Sector 8. The fighter, surprisingly, was granted access to the base and successfully docked with it.

This is either a proof for the station's administration with the Chrysanthemums or an error. Eitherway, I advise to investigate and question the base's administration regarding this incident before it escalates.

Our enemies in the north are silent but not still. Actions are occurring behind the curtains, and yesterday the KNI division warned us of a security breach in the Hokkaido communications relay. Blood Dragon agents had been operating near secure military satellites and had managed to retrieve sensitive intel regarding government operations and plans, including intelligence agents on the field.

The leak has been plugged, and they managed to locate the Dragon agent, Yoshitane Ebisawa, making a run back to Dragon infested territories. An interception wing was dispatched from the Matsumoto, and the agent was neutralized. We recovered the lists and data he carried. KNI confirmed that it was the data that had been stolen, and took charge of the data packages. They also advised us to not disregard our counter intelligence patrols in the core worlds.

Blood Dragon flight records from neutralized pilots are being gathered by command, and we hope to receive some good findings on any tactical weak spots on the current known Blood Dragon operations.

Today during Hokkaido patrol I have encountered several S8 transports carrying Super Alloy and moving towards Rishiri Gate.

One of the ships was really surprised to know that Dragons are attacking ships in Hokkaido, he stated that his destination is Misaki station in Rishiri and was escorted there.

Captain of the second ship, full of Super Alloy stated that she was exploring system when questioned, sitting in the swarm of dragon recruits, however they decided to shoot only me, during encounter she was heading towards Chugoku jump hole. At first she was refusing armed escort, even tried to insult me, however later gave up and decided to make me a tour around Rishiri and Hokkaido, thanks to her I have mapped several strategic jump holes. In the end contact with her was lost in Hokkaido, her ship dissappeard from my scanners in the Shiden cloud, when we were heading back to Unyo cloud.

I'm not sure where that Super Alloy were going, per my knowledge it should be going oposite direction to Honshu and Rheinland. I assume we need to investigate possibility that they supply illegal base or even work with our enemies.

Following on my last report, I became weary of the lack of report or progress of the insurgent situation in the Kyushu system. I met with Admiral Sakamoto of the west fleet for some review and survey of the operations area and enemy movement.

Before we headed out to the frontlines, we found an IMG convoy being harassed by a known raider, Tutashkia, in the Planet Kyushu and New Tokyo corridor. The Okinoshima was on site to dissuade the raider, and the convoy manage to move away. The raider refused to follow our generous offer to leave unharmed, and instead decided to attempt extorting the Naval Forces. Daring, but futile.

A long combat dragged out between the pirate and our destroyer vessel under command of Sakamoto, with the support of an IC| escort bomber from IMG group, and my meagre power of fighter weaponry.

As it dragged on in a protracted skirmish, an Outcast Ranseur had been called to ambush our destroyer and change the balance of the battle. Sakamoto managed to skilfully steer his men to survive the combined attack of the enemies, while we of the escort group provided good distraction as we waited for some sort of reinforcements.
The Kusari arrived to our location, in response to the reports of an Outcast heavy target, and began to aggressively pound the foreigner crew. Backup from the KNF in the form of Izumi.Ichihara, as well as a pair of strike vessels from an A/) group, sped up the process of eliminating the Outcast threat.

With the OC down, the Kusari withdrawn from battle, as the rest of the forces chased down the raider, who had expired his welcome too long ago. Severely weathered down by attrition, the hostile could not keep up his defence against such numbers and was neutralized.

We thanked the support provided in the defence of civilians, and headed to the Nagumo for resupply and repairs. The Okinoshima endured her struggle well, but had to be relieved for repairs. Admiral Sakamoto managed to summon a fighter for his use, and we proceeded to check the frontlines.

It caused me concern that we have not managed so far to contest the control of the Tau-29 jumpgate from the battered Nagasaki, nor have we been able to isolate her from supply lines from the Tau cluster and elsewhere. Sakamoto informed me the fleet was still searching for traces of the reported secong Imperial Heavy Asset, still lurking somewhere in some remote area within Kusari borders...

I commend Admiral Sakamoto for his efforts in defending Kyushu from rebel and criminal threats, as well as dissuading extended bloodshed among Kusarians. We must not let his efforts go to waste, and instead we must seek a quick solution for peace in our House.

Today I escorted a Zoner warship that had requested transit from the Independent worlds to the Sigma cluster. The IG|Exodus (*1* *2* *3* *4* arrived at Deshima station upon our request, where I did a verification of the shipping manifest. A cloaking device was found installed on the vessel frame, but decided to sustain the transit permit, after the power batteries for the device were ejected from their cargo. *1* *2*

The travel was done uneventfully, with a small raiding wing of Blood Dragons delaying us on the Osaka sector. Threats were dealt with and we proceeded to Akita. *1* Over there we contacted a GMG representative on the area and passed custody of the Exodus to the Guild authorities for the remainder of the trip. *1* *2* I returned to Shikoku system after completion of the assignment.
