Konbanwa,
I started my patrol with the Miharu. Kusari is quiet today, the only eventful thing that happened was me finding a Junker flying through New Tokyo. He was flying a heavily armored gunboat, so I was not sure what he was capable of. I didn't have any backup, so I chose to fine him and try to escort him out. But he didn't comply, so I had to open fire. It was a hard fight, but the Miharu won. I stayed on my patrol after the fight, nothing else exciting happened except for my delivery of prisoners to Fuchu.

Konbanwa,

I received an emergency report from State Police regarding a foreign intelligence warship being within the Shikoku system. Following up on the report, I departed immediately to investigate. Sure enough, a Bretonian made gunboat-class warship under the control of the Liberty Security Force was present in southern Shikoku, near the Kepler jumpgate. I interrogated the vessel for information, met only with the ignorance arrogance only a gaijin can display. The vessel had refused to leave and heavier forces were required. Dispatching battlecruiser Yubari to the scene, the commander of the vessel quoted the agent as threatening to return with warships. It appears Libertonian officials are intent on breaking the sovereignty of Imperial borders, and I believe an order should be issued to eliminate these invaders whenever present. Violence seems the be the only language they seem to understand. Recordings will be included from below, as well as taken from the battlecruisers' blackbox.

Field Report

i Completed a patrol around the house systems and found no signs of Trouble all was very peaceful when i has finished my patrol and had docked on planet new Tokyo For Down time. I was about to leave my vessel after docking when i noticed a call out about some possible pirate activity so i decided since i was already ready to go i re-engaged my engines and responded to the call. After arriving in space i was connected to Kusari police Radar and with there guidance i manage to eventually Track down the individual in question. After stopping the ship i scanned for any evidence of Stolen or contraband to find non so i communicated some more with kusari police who reported possible cloaking tech after rechecking the vessel a cloak was indeed present but shamefully before i could take further action he had engaged it and had fled the scene. I stuck around to try and find him and warned various vessels of the possible threat some time later a open message broadcast ed on the system wide emergency comm channel was Received and read the following. "Be thankful I spared your life, my officials will hear about your actions and aggression." I do not know who these people who he refers to our.

The Arashiyama was cleared for a test flight today. I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity to become its captain. I ran a diagnostic check at Kure Shipyard before asking for an escort from Nito Kaii Yamaha Akihiro. Our trip was short, Kusari was quiet and it was only a test for the Arashiyama. We ran through Shikoku, everything was normal. I needed to check the shield system, and I thought Yamaha-san should know, so I took us by the Chrysanthemum stronghold. It's still online and at full power. I didn't see any of their patrols, so maybe it's gone quiet again. I think we should look into another attack.

On our way back we came across Gamo-san at Planet New Tokyo. He didn't seem to recognize me, which hurts a little. But the Arashiyama has returned to Kure in one piece. I think the shields need a second look, but it should be good for regular patrols.

Field Report

Good day Command i am writing to report that i have finished my patrol off which i made my self aware of all various jumpholes in our system to help further my capability to ensure safety and security of our territory .
While on this patrol in the Hokkaido system i was patrol Through the Shiden Cloud i came across a Outcast vessel which was to large for me to take on. So instead i opted to call for help in that matter to which KNF]IKN-Okinoshima Was Quick to respond i held position to keep a look out and the vessel manage to evade me but was caught again and was engaged by KNF]IKN-Okinoshima. To which it was destroyed the loss of life was a disheartening sight but the safety of our nation must come first.
Following this i continued my patrol and am glad to report there was no further incidents to report and my knowledge of kusari space is now up to spec.

I started my patrol at planet New Tokoyo, where I encountered two Bustards and an Ageria vessel.
Firstly, the Ageira vessel named Ageira~Mach was very cooperative and had came across a number of pilots hostile to the Kusari State. He was kind enough to hand them over to me, and he was paid their bounty. He also gave me a Libertonian Cigar, I am not accustomed to Liberty's traditions, and did not wish to give offense. So I accepted.
Furthermore, I later transferred the criminals to Fuchu Prison [See Attachments] to await their fate.

The two Bustards were not registered with the Kusari state, and eventually left our borders upon request. However both seemed to care little of violating Kusari space. I will mention the two vessels here in case they again cause another violation: [WM]CS"Naiad' & Z.Bluehornet.

Other vessels encountered included:

None of the other afore mentioned ships were found violating Kusari State law.

This report is likely to be a long one, so bare with me.

I firstly intercepted a Interspace Commerce IFF'd vessel in Shikoku, named Zefirka. The vessel at first did not respond to my hails and so I cut the trade lane it was about to use. I then performed a scan on the ship to find it was carrying sorted artifacts. Considered contraband if hauled by Interspace Commerce. The Vessel attempted to flee afterwards, failing to respond to comms I was forced to open fire. Here is the following audio-log of that situation.

Afterwards, while I was patrolling around the Battleship Myoko. I encountered a vessel with a strange IFF. They later revealed themselves as Kempeitai. I had no immediate way to confirm if they were or not, so I continued on as thought they were.

Shortly after this, I encountered a Freelancer vessel flying a Hogosha fighter. I commanded them to stop while I checked the legality of this situation. I however was unable to find such a law and subsequently released them.

This Freelancer later brought to my attention a law which does not exist, but claimed it did. They claimed that there was a law pertaining to vessels legally allowed to transport people, and this other freelancer transport was in violation of that law. Wishing to get to the bottom of the possible legal violation, I requested that the freelancer transport halts. They refused multiple demands to stop with silence, while giving chase I managed to consult Kusari Laws and discovered that the Freelancer was mistaken. However the other vessel still refused to reply or halt. I therefore attempted to fine the vessel for failing to comply with a Kusari State Law Enforcer, which it again ignored. The Kempeitai ship that was with me then open fired on the transport, dropping his shields. The transport still continued. The vessel failed to adhere to my warnings, and so was fired upon again.

[+]Freelancer Transport

I encountered once Enma Loyola along with, presumably a friend of theirs at Shinagawa Station. The one identified as Sanae later identified Enma Loyola as an Outcast. Under current Kusari Law, the Outcasts are to be arrested or executed on sight. I requested backup at this stage, as I would have potentially been out-numbered if I attempted a apprehension.
Shortly after requesting backup, I noticed the Kempeitai from early was approximately six-clicks from the station, I that they must have been here for longer than I had noticed them.

I had presumed that the lack of action from the Kempeitai was the result of some unknown agreement between them and the Outcast, however I was mistaken. The situation from then on got more complicated with another Interspace Commerce ship, carrying artifacts, bearing the same name as the one before came into the space near Shinagawa Station. The vessel attempted to bribe both KNF officers at the scene. However, given the developing situation and respecting the command structure of the Kusari Navy, I later followed the lead of Ikko Kaii Seiho Isayama.

I informed the Ikko Kaii once again about Enma Loyola, although at the time I was unsure if they were really an Outcast like I was informed by the Kempeitai. A notion Seiho Isayama voiced themself. A quick search of the Neural Net made it evident that they posture as one.

[+]The Outcast Question

We again encountered the Interspace Commerce ship, Ikko Kaii resolved themself to deal with that situation, while I personally saw to a civilian with a cloaking device. Who left Shikoku once, then returned.
They claimed to be a member of the Cabinet, and to have special permission from a Rear Admiral. They later removed the device from their vessel.

After this incident, we encountered three GC fighters and later a Blood Dragon in the system, they came looking for a fight and focused upon my ship, being the larger of the two KNF vessels present at the start. We were later supported by Hogosha who entered the fray, and a Bounty Hunter was on stand by wanting to enter combat. Additionally, IKN-Liu.Pen also engaged hostile, they did however manage to strike my own craft in cross fire and also fly directly into my maneuvering path, nearly causing a collision.

A Number of Freelancer later entered the system, looking to assist the Kusari State. One had an unregistered cloaking device, I warned them that this is considered illegal. They apologized for it. I permitted them to pass this once, as they were hunting hostiles. I forwarded the information to the Ikko Kaii.

The following situation saw the Freelancers attack the Kempeitai vessel assuming it was an alien. The Hogosha protected the Kempeitai and engaged the Freelancers. Once I arrived I ordered all vessels to cease fighting to get to the bottom of the situation.

I would like to give a formal update on the Arashiyama. We have finally finished breaking in all of the systems and the engineers say it should be ready to take part in fleet battles. They say the shield issue was coming from a mistake in the blueprint they used, that they were using core readings from the Tau War cruisers. We did some field tests in Hokkaido over the last few weeks and it passed in every field.

With this good news I would like to put in a request for a battlegroup to be formed. I still think that Chrysanthemum stronghold can be taken out with one large push before they get a chance to really set in for good. I have asked my crew for their opinions, and we all would be happy to fly the Arashiyama under any admiral taking charge in this, if it is approved.

Gentlemen, peace as settled down, and most KNF units have resumed regular "peacetime" operations, although Kusari is never without trouble or threats.

On the 21st of this month, we began patrol operations aboard the IKN-Genshou, and were coordinating with KNF regular patrol units under the callsign Tokai. [KNF]Tokai-1 and others were essential in the patrol to maintain good reaction to changes in the operation, that our command vessel alone could not tackle.

Within first minutes of operation, Kyushu control referred to strange signature detected operating in the system, small and fast vessel detected in approach to New Tokyo with iff blacklisted on our surveillance network. Tokai patrol manage to intercept it near Shinjuku station, and we confirmed the presence of an LSF agent, which we detained.

After a brief interrogation, and assuming that the agent had come from some sort of botched jumpdrive operation that had thrown him into the Tau region, we escorted the vessel to the Liberty border. The agent seemed to lack any specific information or awareness of interest, and was relieved to be released back to Liberty.


Afterwards, the Genshou and the Tokai patrol proceeded with patrol of the Honshu system, and finding nothing out of the ordinary, with the exception of a Kishiro controlled Wyvern, the operation proceeded with a patrol for enemies in the nearby sigma systems.

Tokai patrol was reinforced by a KNF cadet with name Maeda.Tanjiro, and we proceeded along a path from Sigma-19, Sigma-17 and Sigma-13, before returning to Honshu system.

Along the way, we spotted Ageira vessels in shipping operations to the Omicron Theta system, Corsair civilian vessels, and DSE repair installations near Kurile. Situation near Hawaii Liner, Akta Research Station, Planet Kurile, Gas Miner Ogashawa, Hegoland Station and Gas Miner Naha were as recorded previously, with no disruptions noted either from criminal activity or conflict with Rheinland.

On return to Akita Border station, our patrol spotted a Zoner Aquilon Class carrier in transit, and we held it for interrogation. Seemingly ferrying passengers from one zoner installation to another in the Taus, we ordered it to submit to KNF control and be escorted to the border in Kyushu.
For this operation, we counted on the support of the IKN-Hirosaki, who diverted from his redeployment to Tohoku to assist us in leading the zoner vessel Z.Bluehornet to Fukuoka Border station.

Before leaving, the zoner crew warned us of the activities of a vessel named Arex, who they accused of having committed acts of piracy against the zoners in recent times, in the Honshu system. Advise patrols to coordinate with KSP and be on the lookout for the callsign.

Konbanwa.

I responded to a call for aid from a fellow officer of the Kusari Naval Forces in Shikoku earlier. Initially, I was worried that my distance from the situation location would be too great to offer significant assistance, but upon arrival I found the KNF officer currently not engaged.

That being said, the situation was dire. The Golden Chrysanthemum pilots were using a Tridente Gunboat, a Outcast Rapier, a strange vessel I am unfamiliar with and had the assistance of a freelancer. The Gunboat was swiftly dealt with by the other KNF officers, and I engaged with the Rapier using GC in a one versus one. I won this encounter and moved to assist the other KNF officers, where the Freelancer (THP|EX-Black.Asp) had begun engaging them.

The remaining hostiles were taken down in short order, and the KNF won the day.
I have attached the take down confirmations I performed with the assistance of other officers present, namely Itto Kai Seiho Isayama and Santo Kaisa Mei Isogai.
