Konbanwa,
Today I was dispatched to help remove an illegal base near Tsushima Depot. The Arashiyama was chosen and we met the base alone. Whoever put the base there, we don't know, had done it recently so there was not much to remove. It didn't take long at all, but during the siege two Dragon bombers showed up. I can only assume they are affiliated with whoever built the base since they quickly decided to defend it. They weren't very effective though, the base was still removed and both of their ships were destroyed.

I would also like to thank the engineers on Kure. Whatever shield issues the Arashiyama had when it was first built are gone now as the two bombers couldn't bring it down. Overall today was a success.

I have another quick report. There were distress beacons coming from Yokohama Shipyard so I left with the Arashiyama to check it out. There I saw a Crayter Carrier, The.Dutchman, shooting civilian ships. I tried to negotiate with him but before I could he opened fire on us! Thankfully we were agile enough to dodge his fire, and we were able to disable his ship and rescue the hostages. Over 70 Naval, Police, and Civilian pilots have been taken to New Tokyo for medical checkups, hopefully no lives were lost before we arrived.

We should keep an eye out for this ship. I don't think this is the last we'll see him.

Konbanwa,
My visit to Rheinland has held some mixed results. Before today I was not able to gain much information outside of there being a civil war, something we already knew. My first trip into Frankfurt I saw a Unioner bring chased by a Federalist, with the Unioner saying we are the same. I doubt that.

Then I saw an Orbital pilot, who talked about sending security ships to Baden Baden. It looks like there is some conflict centered around that planet too, though he didn't say what.

Yesterday saw my first conflict since starting this mission. A Hessian near Bonn Station was quick to engage me despite me being passive. He learned a hard lesson.

Today I made the most progress with my reconnaissance after meeting with a Unioner. It seems like they are behind the current civil war, that they are the guard for the current Empire. I was going to get more information out of him on the Freeport in Bering, but Liberty rebels showed up and killed him before we could officially meet. It looks like everybody in the area has an interest in this war. I also want to note the Unioners are very interested in stopping ships hauling depleated Uranium. On my way back from Bering I was spotted by a Military ship. He stayed on the edge of my scanners, but he still decided to harass me. He didn't get any closer than 13k so he couldn't see my ship, and I was able to use my cloak, but I still thought it was a good idea to return to base for a situation report.

Reports by Junsa Bucho Izumi Nishi of KSP

Report no. 1. By Junsa Bucho Izumi Nishi KSP

KSP today did patrol operations in New Tokyo system and Kyushu system. Most of the patrol time, it was quite day. Only one suspect was caught by police officer Takejin Shimizu and was charged with fine 5 000 000 credits for not obeying command of police officer. During rest of the day Takejin Shimizu did police patrol in contested areas and areas of influence.

Second part of patrol KSP was called on emergency call to Honshu where they assisted honored Kusari Naval Forces with repelling dangerous criminals, trying to kill innocent citizens. Even that KSP has limited firepower, Sakura squadron was able to put some damage, before their ship were disabled.

After KNF won the battle. Junsa Bucho Izumi Nishi lead her squadron on regular patrols to Kyushu systems, where they encountered various criminals insignificant value and were terminated while resisting arrest. After cleaning up site from suspect. Izumi Nishi proudly presents to KNF High Command recovering piece of Scientific data that is now in our possesion and ready to be delivered to KNF.

Involved: Sakura 1, Sakura 2, Sakura 3.

Report no.2 Junsa Bucho Izumi Nishi KSP - The Wilds

Today patrols were pretty calm. Encountered several suspects but they fled when they seen us. KSP today mostly operated in Kyushu system. At the end of a patrol, we encountered 2 individuals using strange coding frequencies. I never heard anything like that before. KSP Kagero decided to head back to New Tokyo with reports. Sakura 1 remained on place near planet Kyushu. Those two ships came back several times, saying things like "Humans, Give cargo or break". And one point we realized we have still those encrypted data. But in my opinion they wanted more, even our crew. We decided to call reinforcements. Especialy when they stopped and were really interested in us. Our call for reinforcements was asnwered by KNF Yodaime, which went to stabilise situation. We were ordered to stall them, so we prettened we dont understand. Those things got pretty impatient and they were repeating their request over and over again. Timely KNF Yodaime arrived and drove those strange creatures back to nebula. We asked what was that? By opinion of Yodaime captain, those were slaves to their ancient masters. But what are they doing here? Does it mean something bad is comming? Reminds me encounter with that AI probe ... but that probe wasn't that creepy ...

After this we were decomissioned by Yodaime to take some rest as they took situation under control.

Report no.3 Junsa of Kagero - Escorting duty (Yesterday)
During time Izumi Nishi had to visit kempeitai to give full report on Wild activity in Kyushu and Takejin Shimizu continued his ordered patrol duty in New Tokyo, KSP Kagero continued on patrol duties where it accompanied KNF Yodaime commanded by Admiral Yo.

As report says, admiral Yo requested KSP assistance in New Tokyo from KSP Kagero and on tradelane from New Tokyo to Honshu they encountered Zoner transport hijacked by Farmers Alliance. Thanks to diplomacy of Zoner commander and vigilance of joined Kusari security force, encounter was solved without casaulties and guns fired. That day FA was really active and on gate to Shikoku they encountered another attempt on hijacking now on cruise liner Red Velvet Club, which was scanned by Sakura 2 before. Incident was resolved without casualties. Patrol dutie continued. KNF Yodaime was escorted at the end to Tohoku and KSP Kagero continued it's mission. During last moments of patrol shift it escorted transport of Interspace commerce and Universal shipping that requested escort out of Kusari. Nothing extraordinary happend till the end.

Written by Junsa Bucho Izumi Nishi based on report of KSP Kagero.

PS: Sakura 3 obtained thanks to our activity destroyer class ship from quatermaster. I never was so much proud on my police officer and so mad on quatermaster at same time. I still wait for that teapot!

Been a long while since I've done one of these. Let's see..

For my first patrol since getting reinstated to the Naval Forces I decided to check what's up in the contested region - Tau 31. Was pretty barren at-first until I was met by a sellsword going by the callsign Cerulean,Reaver. I presume this is the work of the Crayterian Republic which has resorted to outsourcing outside help and thus, recruited them - no doubt with hefty sums of credits - to deter their belligerents in the Tau battlefield - us Naval Forces included.

After an exchange of boasts and ego-inflating words a skirmish would follow suit. Forgot to mention Captain Hitokiri was by my side at this event, but I took the decision to teach the mercenary some Kyushu-style dogfighting on my own.
It turned out to be a bittersweet tie.

To all officers reading this report - beware of this vagabond, he is one of the finest pilots I've ever encountered and I wouldn't recommend giving him a fair-chance for fear that he'd use you to grease his own ship.

Later, after my ship was reconstructed back on the Nagasaki, I decided to keep at bay and head inwards to Tau-29. When I arrived at the Freeport-junction I met two Corse pilots claiming that their rights were being infringed, but there was no symptoms of such. I concluded that they were flirting with a Freelancer Sabre that was at the scene. But then appeared a suspicious contact by the callsign of Mahi - flying a Jackdaw.

A quick scan showed the pilot was equipped with Nomad Hybrid Cannons - a staple remark of a Wild-affiliated ship. Needless to say I dispatched it with zeal, rather easily I will add. Itto-Kaii Umakai Miwa was at the scene and can pledge for my actions, in the stead of me failing to provide evidence of equipment-scans.

That is all for tonight,
Ja-ne.

Konbanwa.

I would prefer to start this with what happened at the end of the patrol. A previously unknown GC fighter, named Amaryllis, caught members of the 66th and myself by surprise with their ability in combat. The GC took down two of the 66th and disabled my own ship at the expense of themselves. The third 66th, 'Captain Hitokiri' suffered critical damage in the battle he won against GC|Hana-2. Needless to say, the engagement did not turn out in our favour.

However, prior to this engagement. I stopped a GC transport in Kyushu while it was transporting software, assuredly counterfeit or stolen. Upon scanning the vessel to identify its armament, I discovered the ship had reinforced armour and an array of defensive turrets. As such, I notified local forces of the ship, and the 66th arrived.

Pursuant to Section 6-1 of the Kusari Legal Codex, I attempted to either arrest or execute the GC vessel. However, the members of the 66th has different ideas. One such 66th made mention of his incompetence and corruption in open communications, and his commanding officer, along with the other 66th, were complacent in his actions. The patrol with the 66th has given me the impression that the group are corrupt, dishonest and dishonourable. They stand contrary to the ideals of the Kusari Naval Forces.

I do not wish to waste time further in this report, so I will include several guncam pictures that were taken, along with the communication log. I have highlighted the sections I feel are important to the points I have made.

Konbanwa,

I was awoken from a fever dream, where I was defeated by a Chrysanthemum - a female warrior, while aboard the Nagasaki to find myself no longer in Tau-29. Looking out my window I could see red hues which I have never seen before, hues which I only heard exist in the far reaches of Bretonian space. I wore my boots and rushed down to the docking bay to discover I am now in Languedoc - Gallic Space.

War.

You crazy bastards did it, you mobilized the entire battlegroup here and from what I can hear Hyono is acting as a reserve detachment in Tau-23, not to mention Matsumoto's breach into the Lorraine system, too. The Akatsuki is here as-well.

I took out my Wyvern for a spin to see what's-what. I never knew Gallic space was so beautiful. Going down the lane we control half-of, I was met by corporate entities, flying fighters. I didn't expect them to rally up so quickly but they did. I tried to intimidate some of them to try and pounce at me but alas they didn't bite, so I went back down the lane and stood-by the Nagasaki - appreciating the views and hues.

It didn't take long for my meditation to get interrupted by a Confederate fighter. For his transgressions of interrupting my solitary moment I banzai'd into him headfirst, hoping for a fearsome battle.

It was not.

Later on I tried to see if the corporate entities would seek revenge for their lost comrade, but I was met with a clear message to frak-off - I couldn't do much as a lone pilot.

What a rough night,
Ja-ne.

Konbanwa,

Tonight I have an important report to make. I was patrolling Tau-31 after the withdraw of the Akatsuki to Gallia when I found a Colonial Carrier by Planet Harris. It didn't seem like anybody was at the comms, but there was a nearby Natio Octavarium ship ready to diffuse the situation. I tried to convince him why we should be the ones to keep order in Tau-31 before the Zephyr came to life. I tried the same with them, why the Colonials weren't doing their job properly, why Kusari at least deserved a seat at the treaty table, but did not get far. Since they didn't seem hostile I was going to ask for them to leave peacefully, but then reinforcements for both sides arrived.

After 66th 'Ronin', Santo Kaisa Hattori, and a pilot named Yang Shi arrived the discussion devolved to violence quickly. We were outclassed so I was trying to keep things calm, but Ronin engaged the Colonials and there was no going back. During the engagement, the Natio Octavarium ship was caught in the crossfire and defended the Colonial ships. We disabled it, the carrier, and the Colonial fighter before we started to return to base. But before we could leave Harris's sphere, a Nomad ship decloaked and engaged us! We were able to barely fight it off with our damaged ships, but we were successful. We lost Yang Shi to a Colonial fighter that showed up after the Nomad was killed, but Ronin and Hattori were able to return in one piece. Despite their recklessness, we did win. Shi-san should be recognized for his ability as well.

Kon'nichiwa,

Following the swift conclusion of path clearing in Tau-31 and the war declaration, I could no longer sit calmly onboard the Yamaguchi, I've been serving as barkeeper lately there due to a lack of deployments.
The brief service to clear our path through the Taus renewed my iron will and readiness to serve the Empire with every drop of sweat. Therefore, I successfully transferred to the spearheading assault group led by the Komainu Akatsuki. I have arrived at the Nagasaki, briefly following, two Pilots belonging to the Royal Gallic Enclave, as well as a Cruiser-sized vessel belonging to the Office of Confederal Intelligence appeared in proximity to the Nagasaki.

Things led to a small conversation, the Enclave Pilots expressed their curiosity about our intrusion but showed no hostility. Later on they even mocked the Confederal vessel's Captain for being incapable of defending their borders.
Nothing worth mentioning happened past this, all vessels stayed wary and on distance, though I've managed to get a brief scan of one of the Enclave vessels. Seemingly the flood of modified Nomad weaponary reached them too.

I eagerly await new orders.

In service of the Empire,
Umakai Miwa
