Are the whiners the type of people, that find a bench that says "wet paint" and still sit on it, the type of people that when get told "dont touch it burns" and you put your finger on it and then blame the sign makers
it was stated that a rollback would happen, yes the date is 10th august
but it clearly said not to progress your chars!!!

Said where? announced when and where? i saw exactly nothing, not on forums, not in game. All my charackters ( who existed before 10th august ) are deleted and gone...

Maybe we need to spell it out for you
A rollback was announced on September 14th
They did not say it would be rolled back to the 10th of August
Between the 10th of August and the 14th of September, there was no word of a rollback happening
Nobody said to not progress during the month of August, they said do not progress during the month of September

Could you read your sentence again please, since the roll-back leaves characters intact before the 10th of August. Either its a bug and you should report it, or you sir are a liar.

FYI it said there would be a rollback after the 4.87 rollout happened not before.
It also was not announced after numerous requests for what to expect, when to expect it and how the rollback would occur and affect users..
So to conclude.....there was no sign about wet paint....just wet paint.....
The flame that was burning was ethenol so was not obviously visible to the naked eye....and there was no sign or anyone stood near by who knew what they were talking about in relation to fire and fire protection announcing the fact...
Lack of signs, lack of info.... lack of communication.
Theres no smoke without fire my friend..... people wouldn't be moaning if there wasn't a reason to moan.

Actually...on the 15th August Prowler said he thought there would be a rollback. Later on another admin said that Prowler hadn't discussed with the others and that there was no reason to assume there would be a rollback.
But there was an indication back then. Rumours were flying around after that, rollback WAS on people's mind from that point onwards. Especially when you looked at the reasoning for it, it made sense that there would be a rollback. Which is why I stopped earning any money on 15th August onwards.
Even regardless of that. It is overall for the good of the game and the server. Sure it is annoying for those who didn't realise, but credits can be re-earned. And what other solution is there? I say that people should just grit their teeth and move on. Although in gaming communities in general, people often have a hard time doing that.
What's done is done people. Doesn't matter if your not happy over it, it won't be changing (and quite right). Most you can do is politely make a suggestion to admins that for release of 4.88 they give as far advance warning of a possible rollback, if it is at all possible to do so.

Well a shame your not in one of my factions, as I specifically told all my members in August that there was a chance of a roll back and so don't go making any creds your not prepared to lose and have to make again.
