The Firefly's replacement is what a good transport ship is supposed to be RP or not. it has the wherewithal to go to dangerous places a lot better than the Firefly did, and thereby have a better chance of fulfilling its prime function; to move stuff from one place to another.
The Venator and Battlestar weren't replaced. They were outright discontinued. Oh, well, We'll get over it. But I think it's a poorer mod in the process. Less options for the smaller servers which were never a threat to the main server anyway.

Ok, Yeah, they were replaced, but by ships that were not nearly as capable as what they replaced. The point I'm trying to make here is that they the Firefly replacement wouldn't cause problems for someone who already owned a ship represented by that nickname. The Corsair BS and Corsair Train would cause major problems for anyone who already owned a ship represented by that nickname. No one on GC owned such a ship, but that's not the case with the other servers.
Some people had paid billions for such a ship.

What's done is done and past is past its not our place to gripe and complain anyway
and besides the money that they lost can be replaced
I have to say though the Bretonian Carrier is quite something, what's next ? a Kusari Carrier ? ( i doubt that It will ever happen but a guy is allowed to dream right ?)

Or Gallic/Colonial/IMG carrier, right? Why wouldn't it happen? Get a drawing/model going, do some RP around it, and submit a request to the devs. Aka: Make the effort. Couldn't hurt.

Believe me If i had the skill and talent to pull off a stunt like that i wouldnt be wondering about it id get right down to doing it
Unfortunately my skill in making ship models is bellow 0, and at RP i suck so bad its not even funny its in fact pitiful, believe me i could try all day and all night but in the end my model wouldnt even pass the inspection
