Well since the AFA are not currently nor have they ever for any period of time based off of KNF bases, it's a moot point. We are based on a Samura base.

The AFA operate uniquely and independently of the KNF, why would they abandon their charge as members of this sect of the FA to take on a different stance and role?

I'd like to know how they operate independently when they group with them and launch from their bases.
Their goals have nothign to do with Leeds. Invading Bretonia is wasting their time which could be spent kicking in foreign traders and the like in Kusari.

They act similarly to the KNF, not identically.
The stance of a proper military in comparison to a militia operated by nationalists is quite different in its essence, would you call the Minute Men soldiers of the United States?
If I support a soldier in a warzone against an aggressor, am I then a soldier of that army by osmosis?

The Infocard clearly states that it is jointly operated by Samura and Kishiro. Meaning it is not KNF operated.

Now your playing semantics, the base is jointly operated by Samura and Kishiro, the base is as much KNF as a Kishiro or Samura base in Kusari.
