Champange is in the officer quarters, upper lounge of the Sol, chilled of course. Albert and I just finished a bunch of stuff regarding Tau-23.
The internal sample laboratory is running as well, eventful day. I'm still waiting if there is any organisation that is interested in getting our failed produce for whatever reason, if not then I will figure something out. I'd rather not dumb it somewhere into space, there are enough "trash fields" around and ALG already can't keep up with all of Sirius.

Good morning, it's been a few sleepless hours for me and I'll have to consult you all again on the matter.
Phoenix seemed quite uninterested in our offer of a free recovery service for their vessels, saying that they're already quite adept at this themselves. I've been thinking about possible offers we could make instead, but I've never worked with them before and they don't seem easily pleased. My points so far would have been to offer them colaboration efforts on scientific projects as well as us researching any samples that they send our way. Not sure just how much research Phoenix does, maybe someone else can shed some light or give me any more offers, just in case the ones I have don't make the cut?
Thank you in advance.
Stay safe out there.

Morning Nataly.
*coffee drinking noises among something like a newpaper that ruffles*
That is kind of the -problem- with Zoners. Being so independent that it's hard to trade or strike a deal with them since they already have everything they need from their own efforts.
Offering assistance with research can be done, similar to offers in charting etc. Yet I am not that sure if it would get their interest.
Phoenix isn't small, they don't let themselves be taken for fools as seen in the Theta centred commotion with the Corsairs. So offering research can work but does not have to, reason is that while we get rarely bothered when out in the field, Phoenix has their own diplomatic situation. Mind I am not familiar with all the nuances as my knowledge only stems from the short time I've spend in Sigma-13 when RGS traded with them there.

Offering more bespoke services from our end may be the only way.
The fine line to be walking on is to not over-promise what we're capable of, otherwise we'd have to divert significant resources, personnel and funds to it that would be required elsewhere. Send across our public services and see if they are interested. Though I do doubt that they match the value of a capital-tier vessel. This will not be an easy acquirement.

Hey there, thank you Vanesca.
I've reached out to BMI, confident that this ship of ours is going to turn out nicely. It eats up a lot of my time sadly, but keep me updated on what happens on the Sol. I'll make my way there once the project is well on its way.
Looking forward to seeing you all again.
Stay safe out there.

Code: [30.05.2025 12:05:50] Lazurith: Mmmh, yeah, I know that part. I'm just wondering if there's anything crazy that happened around here lately.
[30.05.2025 12:05:58] Lazurith: I don't come back here often.
[30.05.2025 12:06:07] '\S/'SRV-Sol: Albert: Good day, Lazurith.
[30.05.2025 12:06:11] Lazurith: Hey.
[30.05.2025 12:06:15] '\S/'CEV-Selene: C: I've been more around the Taus recently then being here. Sorry pal.
[30.05.2025 12:06:43] Lazurith: That's okay. The Taus are a lot more interesting than this place, I reckon.
[30.05.2025 12:07:00] '\S/'SRV-Sol: Albert: Hmm, interesting you say that.
[30.05.2025 12:07:10] Lazurith: Interesting? How so?
[30.05.2025 12:07:16] '\S/'CEV-Selene: C: They are by a huge margin.
[30.05.2025 12:07:36] '\S/'SRV-Sol: Albert: We are intending on doing a deep survey of the Taus.
[30.05.2025 12:08:01] '\S/'SRV-Sol: Albert: Starting with bringing the Sol here into the Taus as a permanent observation platform.
[30.05.2025 12:08:14] '\S/'SRV-Sol: Albert: At least you'll have a friendly out there.
[30.05.2025 12:08:52] '\S/'CEV-Selene: C: Yep.
[30.05.2025 12:08:57] Lazurith: I'm sure I will. Is there a solar system in the barrier that caught your attention in particular?
[30.05.2025 12:09:16] '\S/'SRV-Sol: Albert: Tau-23 specifically has got our eye.
[30.05.2025 12:09:38] '\S/'SRV-Sol: Albert: Some objects were discovered on the outskirts. Unique pieces, I might add.
[30.05.2025 12:10:34] Lazurith: ...Objects, huh. Like, stray satellites from hundreds of years ago? Or are we talking more in the realm of spooky alien stuff?
[30.05.2025 12:10:41] '\S/'CEV-Selene: C: *prepares docking on the Liner - some lights start blinking and flashing.*
[30.05.2025 12:10:58] '\S/'CEV-Selene has begun docking on '\S/'SRV-Sol
[30.05.2025 12:11:08] '\S/'CEV-Selene successfully docked
[30.05.2025 12:11:10] '\S/'SRV-Sol: Albert: Stray satellites from superficial viewing.
[30.05.2025 12:11:31] Lazurith: I see. I reckon you could snatch some quality data off of those.
[30.05.2025 12:11:43] '\S/'SRV-Sol: Albert: Hard to say from the images my team has gathered.
[30.05.2025 12:11:53] '\S/'SRV-Sol: Albert: Hence why we're bringing the Sol there.
[30.05.2025 12:11:59] Lazurith: With all those years they've been out in the middle of nowhere, surely they must've gathered something interesting.
[30.05.2025 12:12:29] Lazurith: Hey - if you need someone with some knowledge of LIDAR and long-range scanner modulation and data gathering - you can always -
[30.05.2025 12:12:34] Lazurith: feel free to call me.
[30.05.2025 12:12:49] '\S/'SRV-Sol: Albert: Hmm. How about we test it?
[30.05.2025 12:13:00] Lazurith: Sure. What'd you have in mind?
[30.05.2025 12:13:21] TFP)-Hurricane: Y: My pleasure.
[30.05.2025 12:13:25] '\S/'SRV-Sol: Albert: Travel to Tau-23. We require to be there for relocation surveys.
[30.05.2025 12:13:32] Lazurith: Sure thing.
[30.05.2025 12:13:42] TFP)-Hurricane: F: Alright. You take care now, girl.
[30.05.2025 12:13:48] '\S/'SRV-Sol: Albert: Allow me to refuel for the journey.
[30.05.2025 12:13:52] TFP)-Hurricane: F: I'll let you know when the next sortie is.
[30.05.2025 12:13:59] TFP)-Hurricane: Y: Right.
[30.05.2025 12:14:00] Lazurith: Copy that, Sol.
[30.05.2025 12:14:14] Lazurith: Whoa - TFP? I thought--
[30.05.2025 12:15:12] Lazurith: Glad that's not the case, I guess.
[30.05.2025 12:15:12] TFP)-Hurricane: No, why'd you think that?
[30.05.2025 12:15:25] Lazurith: I didn't see hide nor hair from you for a minute, is all.
[30.05.2025 12:15:30] TFP)-Hurricane: Ah.
[30.05.2025 12:15:37] TFP)-Hurricane: Alright then. See you.
[30.05.2025 12:15:40] Lazurith: Bye.
[30.05.2025 12:15:49] '\S/'SRV-Sol: Albert: Lazurith, we'll make use of our Network for Travel.
[30.05.2025 12:16:02] Lazurith: Copy.
[30.05.2025 12:16:09] '\S/'SRV-Sol: Albert: Hold a moment while my other pilot sets up our beacon.
[30.05.2025 12:16:50] '\S/'SRV-Sol: Albert: Go on through, I'll meet you on the other side.
[Switched to '\S/'MRV-Pluto]
[30.05.2025 12:18:03] Lazurith: Worked like a charm.
[30.05.2025 12:18:20] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: Kishiro Tech works wonders, at least for Jumpdrives *chuckles*
[30.05.2025 12:18:26] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Switched to a more appropriate ship for the survey.
[30.05.2025 12:18:37] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: Hello there Boss.
[30.05.2025 12:18:58] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Thank you for assisting Lazurith to get here.
[30.05.2025 12:19:15] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: You're both welcome. *salutes over com*
[30.05.2025 12:19:31] GMS|Gallia.Big.Waves: Bonjour !
[30.05.2025 12:19:48] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: Bonjour GMS-Vessel.
[30.05.2025 12:20:05] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Co-ordinates are locked. Going to be a long flight.
[30.05.2025 12:20:33] GMS|Gallia.Big.Waves: look out for the rocks not good for the piant *smiles*
[30.05.2025 12:20:34] Lazurith: Alright.
[30.05.2025 12:21:00] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: What type of LIDAR system have you got installed?
[30.05.2025 12:21:08] GMS|Gallia.Big.Waves: stay safe
[30.05.2025 12:21:38] Lazurith: Oh, it's a-- crap, it's hard to think while dodging asteroids.
[30.05.2025 12:22:29] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Hmm, indeed. Hope it's sophisticated enough to examine this.
[30.05.2025 12:22:49] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Should be able to see it ahead.
[30.05.2025 12:23:17] Lazurith: Okay, now, as I was saying - it's a Seer model from Kishiro, I'm using the version with a topographic module.
[30.05.2025 12:23:50] Lazurith: It also has the -- oh, man.
[30.05.2025 12:24:40] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: If it would not trigger the radiation sensors I'd grab a sample and turn it into a lamp of sorts.
[30.05.2025 12:24:48] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: I have heard doubts about our services.
[30.05.2025 12:24:53] Lazurith: This... this is nothing short of amazing - look at how the light is being refracted.
[30.05.2025 12:25:02] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Then our pilots find structures like this.
[30.05.2025 12:25:54] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: This is why we want to come to Tau-23.
[30.05.2025 12:26:04] Lazurith: I... I can definitely see why!
[30.05.2025 12:26:06] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Does it appear alien to you, Lazurith?
[30.05.2025 12:26:35] Lazurith: I've an... inkling it could be, but it might not. Nevertheless, it's like it has absorbed light for a very long time.
[30.05.2025 12:27:00] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Releasing it in waves across the light spectrum.
[30.05.2025 12:27:04] Lazurith: And now it's being refracted through three hues that are common to us - red, blue, and green.
[30.05.2025 12:27:13] Lazurith: Yes, exactly.
[30.05.2025 12:27:27] Lazurith: It's... almost like it's breathing, isn't it?
[30.05.2025 12:28:22] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: Checking if there has been some sort of shape change from the last survey. - - Seems to be no the case.
[30.05.2025 12:29:19] Lazurith: [A background noise could be heard coming from the pilot's ship - catching interference.]
[30.05.2025 12:29:32] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: Light pulse intensity seems to have stayed akin to the past data as well. So it's unlikely to have lost residual energy.
[30.05.2025 12:29:32] Lazurith: [A sustained hum that crackled through his comms.]
[30.05.2025 12:30:07] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: You alright there? I'm getting some noise through.
[30.05.2025 12:30:12] Lazurith: I'm... trying to synchronize through its frequency. I'm currently picking up a 417hz tone.
[30.05.2025 12:31:00] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: The "hum" our audio interference then seems to also have stayed active.
[30.05.2025 12:31:43] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: I'd recommend allowing the Neptune to study it closer. It is equipped for the task.
[30.05.2025 12:32:16] Lazurith: I'm not sure if I got my readings right - are you picking up ionizing or non-ionizing radiation?
[30.05.2025 12:32:17] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Do not wish to have your own equipment inoperable due to this discovery.
[30.05.2025 12:33:13] Lazurith: Be c##ref##l. The cl##ser you g#t to the cr##stal, the higher the interference.
[30.05.2025 12:33:14] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: Hmm. The scanner does not make much sense in that regard. - - 70/30 spread.
[30.05.2025 12:33:44] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Is that vessel equipped with an xray panel, Neptune?
[30.05.2025 12:33:44] Lazurith: W##t a m#nute. Does that mean it can alternate between frequencies, too?
[30.05.2025 12:34:17] Lazurith: Just like how it's going between different color emissions.
[30.05.2025 12:34:21] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: We got all the panels Albert. All of them. *clearly joking about the neptune being a new vessel*
[30.05.2025 12:34:30] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Very funny.
[30.05.2025 12:34:35] Lazurith: That's good.
[30.05.2025 12:34:59] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Can you please utilize the xray and scan the rock this crystal is wedged into?
[30.05.2025 12:35:16] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: I know right. Glad to be able to not have interference when sending right next to this strange shape. - - On it.
[30.05.2025 12:35:16] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Could be there's more to this than what we can initially see.
[30.05.2025 12:36:00] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: It may not be this crystal, but what's inside the asteroid that's releasing these light waves.
[30.05.2025 12:36:35] Lazurith: It could be that it's hollowed out inside. But there's too much radiation for me to get a read under its crust.
[30.05.2025 12:36:55] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: Hmm. It does not share the same wavelength as the other smaller asteroids that we have in 23.
[30.05.2025 12:37:16] Lazurith: It would make sense, though. If the crystal refract light, any non-ionizing radiation might bounce inside it infinitely.
[30.05.2025 12:37:20] Lazurith: Kind of like a mirror house.
[30.05.2025 12:38:01] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: That, or it could just be an unremarkable large satellite.
[30.05.2025 12:38:39] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: Soo. From what I get here is that there is a smaller hollowed out space that the crystal is latched onto or grew from. >
[30.05.2025 12:39:05] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: > So I am reading the crystal is not simply on the outside but also inside even if not much.
[30.05.2025 12:39:40] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Okay, back away befre the frequencies affect the xray results.
[30.05.2025 12:39:45] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: Envision it like "roots of a flower" but the interference is making it hard to get a proper reading for the inside.
[30.05.2025 12:40:20] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: After initial examination - what are your thoughts, Lazurith?
[30.05.2025 12:40:30] Lazurith: Ah...! I've switched up my frequencies - I totally didn't just flip the knob left and right until I got something.
[30.05.2025 12:40:52] Lazurith: And, check this out - if you'll switch up to a 3hz frequency, you'll pick up another hum coming from it.
[30.05.2025 12:40:54] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: What Lazurite says is also on the reading. The deeper I try to read inside the more noise and static I get.
[30.05.2025 12:41:13] Lazurith: I think this change happened about... uh, seven minutes ago.
[30.05.2025 12:41:44] Lazurith: This is a low humming frequency, you'll have to really squint your ears if you want to hear it without any equipment.
[30.05.2025 12:41:50] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: Question for the hz would be - Is there a cycle it folllows?
[30.05.2025 12:42:01] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: On rotation every 7 minutes.
[30.05.2025 12:42:33] Lazurith: The real question is, why is this crystallian protrusion pop out of the asteroid?
[30.05.2025 12:42:54] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: That is what one called "The million dollar question."
[30.05.2025 12:43:28] Lazurith: I am going to spitball two theories: one - it formed naturally. Just like how regular crystals would generate underground.
[30.05.2025 12:43:29] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: Theory: The asteroid was weaker on that side. Least resistance to "break out".
[30.05.2025 12:43:47] Lazurith: Which means that it must've come out a larger stellar bodies with the same qualities.
[30.05.2025 12:43:59] Lazurith: Two - a tectonic shift on that same stellar bodies caused them to erupt.
[30.05.2025 12:44:19] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Well there may be some merit behind both.
[30.05.2025 12:44:54] Lazurith: If this is true, it must mean that there is, or was, some planet out there which has these strange properties.
[30.05.2025 12:44:54] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: There is a second set of these same crystals within the system.
[30.05.2025 12:45:08] Lazurith: There is? Maybe we'll find the same qualities to that one, as well.
[30.05.2025 12:45:31] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: But, I would like to show you something equally as interesting. May be related.
[30.05.2025 12:46:17] Lazurith: Mmm. Well, let's put a pin on this for now, and check out if we'll find some reason behind this crystal extravaganza.
[30.05.2025 12:46:35] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Do you have the time to inspect this last thing?
[30.05.2025 12:46:39] Lazurith: Of course.
[30.05.2025 12:47:05] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Your separation theory.
[30.05.2025 12:47:18] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: This part gives your theory merit.
[30.05.2025 12:47:32] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: I would rather have you see it yourself.
[30.05.2025 12:48:22] Lazurith: By the way... did you manage to get a read on the mass of that satellite object? I got some preliminary data.
[30.05.2025 12:48:26] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Be wary, it gets dark this far out. Navigation is not adequate.
[30.05.2025 12:48:43] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: I did not, perhaps the Neptune did.
[30.05.2025 12:49:04] Lazurith: My lights are out, yeah. I'm hoping my navcom system won't betray me and cause me to--
[30.05.2025 12:49:15] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: This is it.
[30.05.2025 12:49:16] Lazurith: Oh, I'm picking up something.
[30.05.2025 12:49:30] Lazurith: Oh...! This is... so much larger than the other one.
[30.05.2025 12:49:46] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: No crytals, but it does appear to be destroyed.
[30.05.2025 12:50:07] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: Theory for this one could be that the crystal was removed and it had one prior.
[30.05.2025 12:50:24] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Not destroyed, aplogies. Hollowed out?
[30.05.2025 12:50:36] Lazurith: I'm picking up some strong, yet basic light emissions from this particular asteroid.
[30.05.2025 12:50:57] Lazurith: It's ranging from 450 to 520 nanometers on my spectrometer.
[30.05.2025 12:51:07] Lazurith: It's nowhere as impressive as the other object.
[30.05.2025 12:51:43] Lazurith: I'm also p##king u# the sa## type of radiation near the epicentre.
[30.05.2025 12:52:19] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: The larger rock we examined before, it's size may fit into this gap.
[30.05.2025 12:52:55] Lazurith: Hm... these cracks are part of some kind of tectonic event, either that, or some other rogue asteroid caused it to collapse.
[30.05.2025 12:53:25] Lazurith: No - wait... it's like... it exploded from within!
[30.05.2025 12:53:43] Lazurith: There are no impact marks on the outer silicate layer.
[30.05.2025 12:54:01] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Does this mean the crystals are potentially explosive?
[30.05.2025 12:54:23] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: If they originated from here.
[30.05.2025 12:54:45] Lazurith: I wouldn't say explosive.
[30.05.2025 12:55:15] Lazurith: I am not certain what those crystals were, I could only pick up a basic reading of carbon molecules, like most other crystals.
[30.05.2025 12:55:35] Lazurith: But... I'm starting to think that these crystals hold some kind of elevated tectonic abilities.
[30.05.2025 12:55:51] Lazurith: Meaning that this... hollowed out asteroid might just be a hollow shell for the first object we came across.
[30.05.2025 12:56:12] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: And potentially the other - which you haven't examined yet.
[30.05.2025 12:56:19] Lazurith: Like a snake shedding its skin, in a way. Maybe the outer composites of silicates and nickel are incompatible with the -
[30.05.2025 12:56:27] Lazurith: internal crystalian structure.
[30.05.2025 12:56:51] Lazurith: It might sound... totally nuts, but it's like the crystal asteroid is alive.
[30.05.2025 12:57:02] Lazurith: In its own very strange and roundabout way.
[30.05.2025 12:57:07] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: That's quite the thought.
[30.05.2025 12:57:21] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Not one that I would have had, that is certain.
[30.05.2025 12:57:43] Lazurith: I mean - look at the inside of this asteroid. It looks... jagged, very sharp. Doesn't it?
[30.05.2025 12:57:58] Lazurith: What else could be that sharp? The same crystals we found on the first asteroid.
[30.05.2025 12:58:10] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: We were planning to try extract one shard for further research. Better to perhaps do it in space for now.
[30.05.2025 12:58:27] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: If the crystals did this, then I would rather not carry one.
[30.05.2025 12:58:40] Lazurith: I'm sure that a small sample wouldn't hurt, though.
[30.05.2025 12:58:58] Lazurith: Now, a mass of them could cause cataclysms like this one.
[30.05.2025 12:59:17] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: The shards are quite large. We don't know what shaving off a small sample would do.
[30.05.2025 12:59:18] Lazurith: But a small one? I don't think it's capable of doing anything without the rest of its original mass.
[30.05.2025 12:59:27] Lazurith: Hey, there's only one way to find out.
[30.05.2025 12:59:35] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Indeed there is.
[30.05.2025 12:59:51] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: We may be the only ones who know about this.
[30.05.2025 13:00:01] Lazurith: Heck, I've got my EVA suit. I could go out there myself and harvest you a palm's worth of crystal sample.
[30.05.2025 13:00:12] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: Sorry I was silent there. Used all of the system power for a scan but the results are undewhelming.
[30.05.2025 13:00:23] Lazurith: Provided my cutting equipment can even shave anything off the structure.
[30.05.2025 13:01:02] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: I'll need to return to Java. Being called back to a meeting.
[30.05.2025 13:01:11] Lazurith: Understood.
[30.05.2025 13:01:19] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: Alright Boss. See you later.
[30.05.2025 13:01:29] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: If you can obtain a sample via EVA, do contact us with your findings.
[30.05.2025 13:01:42] Bessie-"Bison"-Bishop: Hunh.
[30.05.2025 13:01:47] Lazurith: I'd be more than glad to.
[30.05.2025 13:01:48] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Who is this?
[30.05.2025 13:02:04] Bessie-"Bison"-Bishop: Someone who keeps running into this one idiot it seems.
[30.05.2025 13:02:07] Lazurith: Oh - Bes? Is that you out there?
[30.05.2025 13:02:13] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: Greetings Bounty Hunter. Did any of us land on your list?
[30.05.2025 13:02:17] Lazurith: Hey, you must like me.
[30.05.2025 13:02:26] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Why is a Bounty Hunter this far out in Tau-23?
[30.05.2025 13:02:26] Bessie-"Bison"-Bishop: Naw, I can't say you've pissed off anyone I know, Starfliers.
[30.05.2025 13:02:34] Bessie-"Bison"-Bishop: Sweeping for Outcasts.
[30.05.2025 13:02:48] Bessie-"Bison"-Bishop: A transport went down maybe half an hour ago from some pirates from what I heard.
[30.05.2025 13:02:51] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Reasoning makes sense, position doesnt.
[30.05.2025 13:02:51] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: Glad I am just out far and not out cast.
[30.05.2025 13:02:58] Lazurith: Nothing here but us rocks.
[30.05.2025 13:03:17] Bessie-"Bison"-Bishop: Sometimes there's activity around the 44 hole, as this lends some credence to.
[30.05.2025 13:03:38] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: I best return now.
[30.05.2025 13:03:42] Lazurith: Wait, there's a Tau-44 system?
[30.05.2025 13:03:44] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Godspeed, everyone.
[30.05.2025 13:03:47] Lazurith: That's nuts, I had no idea!
[30.05.2025 13:03:48] '\S/'MRV-Neptune: If we spot a hidden Outcast asteroid we will tell you. *chuckles*
[30.05.2025 13:03:50] Bessie-"Bison"-Bishop: I am gonna keep on my sweep... Kris, try not to piss them off too bad while I'm gone.
[30.05.2025 13:03:53] Lazurith: Oh - take care!
[30.05.2025 13:04:01] Bessie-"Bison"-Bishop: Yeah, there's a 44.
[30.05.2025 13:04:04] Lazurith: Naw, Bes. I'm just helping them pick up some scans.
[30.05.2025 13:04:09] '\S/'MRV-Pluto: Albert: Indeed there's a 44.
[30.05.2025 13:04:26] Lazurith: Shit, you learn something new every day.

[22.10.2024 10:23:55] A/)-ACV-Achlys: L: Ah, the package has arrived at last.
[22.10.2024 10:24:06] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: Package? What?
[22.10.2024 10:24:51] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: Turn. Around. Back to Invergordon.
[22.10.2024 10:24:58] A/)-ACV-Achlys: L: An explorer test bed. It's... Smaller than I thought it'd be, to be honest.
[22.10.2024 10:25:33] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: The ship? I bought this for us.
[22.10.2024 10:26:05] A/)-ACV-Achlys: L: Did you? Or was it your higher ups making inquiries?
[22.10.2024 10:26:19] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: I made the inquiry, and I got the ship.
[22.10.2024 10:26:29] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: If you want it, go get it yourself.
[22.10.2024 10:26:50] A/)-ACV-Achlys: L: Mmm. Let's see...
[22.10.2024 10:28:16] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: Come on, get closer. What do you want now?
[22.10.2024 10:28:18] A/)-ACV-Achlys: L: See, I did send someone to obtain one. Unfortunately Bristol was quite unwilling to part with it.
[22.10.2024 10:29:10] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: I don't see how that's my problem.
[22.10.2024 10:29:10] A/)-ACV-Achlys: L: So I sent someone else, who I believe you spoke to at the Freeport.
[22.10.2024 10:30:38] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: Wasn't me. I've been in Cologne for a while.
[22.10.2024 10:31:07] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: Then I had to come all the way out here to deliver this present.
[22.10.2024 10:31:19] A/)-ACV-Achlys: L: Well, if it wasn't you, then it must've been Albert, yes? Where else would you have gotten the idea?
[22.10.2024 10:31:46] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: He did ask me to get this vessel. What, this was meant for you to begin with?
[22.10.2024 10:31:59] A/)-ACV-Achlys: L: For Dave, our chief scientist.
[22.10.2024 10:32:13] A/)-ACV-Achlys: L: I won't give him the Osiris back, so he's getting something new and better suited to his role.
[22.10.2024 10:32:33] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: Fucking Albert. I thought I was going some good deed buying this ship for us.
[22.10.2024 10:32:37] A/)-ACV-Achlys: L: And /you/ are sitting on it. Would you like a bonus for a job well done?
[22.10.2024 10:33:19] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: I guess I'll send more company funds at Bristol and buy a second one.
[22.10.2024 10:33:35] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: They said they only had one, this one, so this wa sall for nothing.
[22.10.2024 10:33:50] A/)-ACV-Achlys: L: You've been fully reimbursed for the effort.
[22.10.2024 10:34:00] A/)-ACV-Achlys: L: It's as if you never spent the money in the first place.
[22.10.2024 10:34:36] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: Oh well ends justify the means?
[22.10.2024 10:34:45] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: I thought this was for us.
[22.10.2024 10:34:52] A/)-ACV-Achlys: L: That bonus is still on the table, if it'll make you feel a bit better.
[22.10.2024 10:35:01] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: It won't.
[22.10.2024 10:35:14] A/)-ACV-Achlys: L: Suit yourself. I can give that money to a charity or something, I guess.
[22.10.2024 10:35:21] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: But I'll happily spend the funds again, if Bristol has a newer model.
[22.10.2024 10:35:43] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: Take this thing, just lemme get the Pulsar out the docking bay and fly back to Cologne.
[22.10.2024 10:35:47] A/)-ACV-Achlys: L: They're a fresh production line, so I imagine the next will no doubt be newer than the last.
[22.10.2024 10:36:35] A/)-ACV-Achlys: L: Dave will be excited, for sure.
[22.10.2024 10:36:41] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: Turns out we were going the right way after all.
[22.10.2024 10:36:49] A/)-ACV-Achlys: L: A happy accident.
[22.10.2024 10:36:54] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: I have words for Albert. They didn't tell me shit.
[22.10.2024 10:37:25] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: More of a reason to spend more company money. Well, I'd like to think it was your money.
[22.10.2024 10:37:45] A/)-ACV-Achlys: L: It was. Mostly. Maybe a bit of stolen credits from some Outcasts here or there.
[22.10.2024 10:37:45] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: *That* makes me feel better.
[22.10.2024 10:38:16] IND-BRI00010-J834: Halpert: I'll hand off the keys to whoever I see first out the airlock. Then it's up to you guys.
[22.10.2024 10:38:25] A/)-ACV-Achlys: L: Righto. Dockmaster can take it from there.
[22.10.2024 10:38:36] A/)-ACV-Achlys: L: Thank you.

Greetings there Halpert,
I doubt we had talk yet outside of my general greeting when I joined. Anyway, what's the deal with that Kress Explorer?
Signing off~
