- Nevermind, then. - she sighs and giggles - We will figure that out, eventually. Right? Right.

Still hugging Aigis arm, Patri returns to observing Sarah.

"I could get used to this."
"Getting hugs? Yeah. Its nice."
"Certainly."
"So, happy with your decision? Nothing short of expectations..?"
"Well, having a humanoid body IS something i am still getting used to...But also certainly something i enjoy.."
"What about her..?"
"Dunno... still want a pet..?"

Both turns at Patricia and shows a mischievous smile.

Syd looked at Emma out of the corner of his eye and whispered, 'I am armed. Though I do not know how much use I would be. I might be able frighten someone to death.'

He subtly rubbed his right arm again, 'I don't think I can raise my gun at the moment.'

'What about you?' He wisperd his breathing a little ragged. 'You look the sort of person to have a plan.' His eyes flicked to the goup talking about faries, 'Because those guys seem the most dangerous of all.' A small pained smile played across his face.

Emma recognized the subtle hint Syd had dropped combined with the rubbing... She guessed Syd was injured.

"I've got a gun yes." She replied. "And I don't know who would start the fight, but regardless of who starts it the plan is to just get out as soon as possible. I've got a ship in the hangar on standby to get me out of here if it comes to that... don't worry there'd be room for you too." She took another swig of beer.

"But you..." She stared directly at Syd's right arm. "You're hurt aren't you?"

Sarah relaxed as the atmosphere in the bar returned to a level marginally closer to normal. There was still a fair desire to disembowel floating around, but at least it was being polite. Aigis certainly helped. Fairies, really? She smiled, removing her arms from under the seat. The procedure didn't seem to have changed her Sarah noted, relieved. She'd wanted to be there when they bought her out, but circumstances had intervened. Very inconvenient, those circumstances.

Patrica was something new. She vaguely recalled Alice mentioning having people on board, perhaps she was one of them. If the enigmatic A.I trusted her, that was good enough for the Rogue too. At the mention of a 'pet' Sarah had to physically turn away to hide her laughter, the sound emerging more as a quiet giggle, though it certainly carried. As before; she got the impression Aigis was only half joking.

A crease formed in the girl'€™s brow, it was so easy to get distracted with those three around... Not that she was complaining.

"Sooooooooooooooooo." She commented, attempting to turn the conversation back on it's original path. With the group she had mind, it was just as likely a wheel would fall off halfway round.

"What I wanted to ask you guys, is if you've got any idea where it came from." The 'it' was added in a low whisper, like a conspirator in the royal chamber.

"I mean, if you don't know that's okay too. There's always Plan B." She added quietly.

Syd nodded to Emma. 'Unfortunatly yes. I got this from my burned bridge.' He said indicating his arm. 'However...' he said stamping his feet up and down, '...these still work at least.'

'It's amazing what trouble your brother can get you into.' He leaned back into his seat again, his eyes with that far away look again.

'Dear, dear brother.' He smiled a little, it was a cold empty smile.

"Well if your arm is burned up you should get someone to take a look at it." Emma advised. "And I wouldn't know anything about brothers. I never had one... and of the sibling like pair that was me and Alex I was the one who always got into trouble..." She sighed.

"Lots of trouble... lots of mistakes... lots of regrets." She shook her head and forced a smile. "But there's no use dwelling on the past, better to look to the future eh?"

'You are right of cource, I must condess my medical expertise are lacking.'

'I have been avoiding medical centres....for special reasons.' He smiled again.

'I agree, there are no benfits in ifs.' He nodded 'We go from where we stand.'

'I suppose in some ways we are both lucky, both of us sharing a drink with a fascinating stranger indeed.'

Syd looked directly into her eyes and thought, 'She certianly seems to be what she claims, perhaps I can trust her. I was fortunate to wash up here.'

He smiled a wan smile, 'You would not know where I could get this treated would you? No questions asked?'

Julian's PDA beeped slightly. Flicking it out, he watched the short line..."Public Service Announcement"
After a few moments, he flicked it away, quickly leaving the bar.

"Zoners for one." Emma said. "They'll fix you up and not ask too many questions... or there's a medical wing on the station here but it's not cheap. If you don't have the cash I can lend you some. They staff don't ask questions on general principal."

She took another swig of beer.

"You'd actually be suprised how easy it is to find people who don't ask questions, you just got to know where to look."
