Daniels : I see, yeah, I gave most of the lads the day off as well. Major Beckz is here as well, I converted him to drinking Whiskey and smoking cigars.
He looked a bit proud when he said it like that. Besides that, he took another snack, didn't chew enough and started coughing.
Daniels : Ugh, these cheesy puffs are not good for your lungs. Anyway, as you might have seen my Lieutenant-Colonel Santiago is here as well. Not really sure if she likes it though, It isn't really her scene. But she'll adapt to it, as always.
Daniels looked at Ain with a smirk.
Daniels : Just take a look at the crowd we got like here, we have Mister and Misses Holiday over there, the Admiral over there and a Dragon of the Rising Sons. Ravenov has some nice contacts....
He decided it would be for the best to wash the remnants of the snack down with a big gulp of Whiskey.
Daniels : Hmm, I could use a refill.... Hans? HANS?!

"Mister and Misses Holiday are here too?" He straightens uniform "This might be interesting, i never met them before personally."
He looked at Hans
"No thank you, i will pass this time. Must keep myself in shape"
He turned back to Colonel Daniels.
"Should we take a walk? I had enough snacks"

Daniels : Of course, yeah, standing still is overrated anyway. Hans, I don't think you'll have a hard time finding me in the crowd, cause I think I'm the only black guy in this crowd anyway. Lead on Captain.

"Somewhere in the depths of space, a great distortion appears. A very unusual craft gets through the unstable wormhole. The ship was elegant with razor-sharp lines with a very aggressive tone. It was grey with black and blue stripes and somewhere could've been seen the word Phalanx."
Dave : NEX transfer more protium to the Gravitron Mines and project them towards the space rupture NOW ! They don't need to reach us !
NEX : Calibration successful. Launching initiated.
"From the rupture, began to appear some unknown shapes but the mines launched by the craft disabled and closed the space rupture created by the Phalanx to escape from it's insane trip. But the explosion crippled the FTL drive of the ship and Dave with his AI companion were drifting into space..."
Dave : How long the repairs will take ?
NEX : Approximate 10 hours. Depends on our reserve of nanites.
Dave : Triangulate the exact temporary location that we find ourselves at the moment...
NEX : Coordinates precises Eastern Arm of the Sirius Star Cluster. The closest stars are from the mono-planetary system of Omega-49.
Dave : Are the stealth systems online ?
NEX : Affirmative.
Dave : Engage them and proceed to the system... at least we will have the relief that we know the place...

Ain slowly begun to walk towards the main balconies.
"Please tell me, Colonel, have you got used to such meetings? I do not visit Feasts often actually. All i see is my crew most of the time. Maybe this makes me an ascetic even."
Walking out on the balcony Ain breathes in deep and shows an enjoyable smile.
"Such a pleasant view. Mister Eriksson sure picked a good place for his palace."
He looks down on the trees and falls silent.

"Perhaps you should come out to Tombstone sometime," said Doc to Eriksson, "I can give you some basics on horseback. It's not all that difficult. Once you get comfortable, we can do some trail riding on the wild parts of Canaria. There is so much of it yet to be explored and a lot of it cannot be explored by mechanical means."
As he spoke, he kept a watch of his surroundings, always aware of what people were doing, reading body language and expressions.
