Ok, I'll start taking names for the event in a seperate thread later, once I've decided on the plan, I'll go for the starflier + 50k, versus one battleship, armed as desired.

You need a bunch of AT LEAST Patriots or Daggers to beat a battleship.
A Battleship is just too powerful against a bunch of starfliers unless it doesn't fire back, and sits still.

Remember Virus those inexpensive light fighters are VERY quick and agile. The main trouble for the BS would be hitting them.

Doesn't matter in a Starflier, it can't do damage to the shield. Period.
Then add in missile turrets on the BS.

The Starflier actually CAN do BS shield damage if it equips 1-2 stunpulses. Maybe a fair number of starfliers (14,16,18), half equipped with 2 X Stunpulse, 1 X Adv. Stunpulse, and half equipped with 2 X Scorpion and 1 X Adv. Scorpion CAN take a BS... :P

how about the BS takes of it's shield then the starfliers would stand a chance.

I realize that, its just that one missile salvo can kill two or more Starfliers.... I know, I've done it before. ;)

Hmmm, Titus is right here, our ambulant encyclopedia ;) .
Althoug if bs shield's regen is bigger than all the dmg made by the SFs, then it's pointless.
I just thought of something. They could take th bs in less then half an hour if they have the Supernova mines. It can be equiped on SFs. :crazy: :crazy:
