Mune ga ippai ni narimashita that I was permitted to hold my first solo patrol so early after passing Wakkanai's standard tests.
I humbly look forward to actively serving my nation and his Imperial Highness for the betterment and safety of our people!

On to my patrol report: I traversed the to me assigned route: From the Battleship Nagasaki to Roppongi Station. Everything appeared calm, only encountered one Farmer Alliance vessel not willing to turn around. I was forced to disable it and called a Police Officer over to handle the escape pod transfer for me.
Everything remained calm until I was at Shinjuku Station. There I ran into a Gallic woman, callsign Clouded.Dawn, seemingly on a personal quest to learn about Sirian cultures. I had taken the liberty to remain with her for a quick conversation, which due to the appearance of Nakamoto-san with the Tokai-1, was prolonged.
In the follow up of the conversation, an "Auxo" Android calling itself "Beep" appeared and engaged into another conversation with me. Mid-way into the conversation, another "Auxo" by the name "A/)-Revenant" appeared and was pulled into the conversation by the other "Auxo" vessel. Unwilling to engage into further discussions, I have politely departed. However, one of the sentences picked up from "A/)-Revenant" could be of interest to some of our units with access to more data about the so-called "Auxo" group.

Code:
[06.08.829 17:04:00] "Beep": Beep wonders if Beep can be of service to [insert current title] Revenant?
[06.08.829 17:04:07] "Beep": Beep is confused.
[06.08.829 17:04:28] A/)-Revenant: I'm not the Keeper anymore, Beep. Although, my current title is er... N/A? I'm not sure at the moment.
[06.08.829 17:04:38] "Beep": Beep is not sure, either.
[06.08.829 17:04:51] A/)-Revenant: Yes, it seems they've been keeping my absence a secret.

Esteemed Admiralty,

I am reporting that a Zoner vessel, by the callsign ZV:Sparta, has once more been sighted within Kusari and has refused to cooperate with the authorities.

I and Mr Mitsuo have dealt with him on a previous occassion, thus I have attached our attempt to communicate with him. He has not responded to this day, and as such, we leave this utmost concerning matter into your capable hands.

See to it that this is answered at earliest time possible.

Great warriors and defenders of the Empire.
Over the past three decades, our beloved nation faced many challenges and immeasurable suffering. The blood of millions still soaks our soil and true peace remains a meager dream lingering at the horizon.
Our glorious nation survived. Our nation is able to strive again despite all obstacles thrown at us. All due to everyone's sheer astonishing commitment and will to bleed for the Empire and her people.

I share your vision for stability and peace, your desire to see the tides of war subside. However, our enemies remain numerous and restless. For the glory and survival of the Empire of the shining suns and all her children, we cannot rest just yet. We have to stay vigilant.

The Empire's army is strong, our domestic doctrines still as effective as the day they were introduced, yet cracks and flaws became painfully visible during our clash with the bane of Sirius, the Gallic mass murderers. While successful, our campaign proved what some already feared: The Imperial Kusari Navy is in dire need for technological advances capable of overwhelming current and future secret superweapons of other nations. The Rheinland Blitz 801 A.S., the crushing breakthrough of the Gallic "Valor" during our campaign against the Bretonian Kingdom and the latest stalemates after the initial success of our own Blitz against Gallia just underlined the necessity for the Kusari Empire to strive for greater military developments.

The engineers of Kure achieved to construct the tool required for our next step in warfare. Several years of development and military as well as intelligence data from centuries fused into the pure embodiment of the Emperor's wrath. I am pleased to announce that the final prototype of the "Meiji" has finished its last trial flights several months ago. Limited mass production of the new vessels are to begin in the nearby future and will form the Imperial Armed Forces' spine.

[ACCESS GRANTED TO: Low + Mid Command]
[ACCESS GRANTED: Admiralty only]

In addition to the new age of warships entering our ranks, the Imperial Armed Forces and the Imperial Guard as a whole will undergo drastic reformations including the introduction of new war and domestic peace time doctrines.

Katajikenai, warriors. Keep making the Empire and her people proud.

In humble service of His Imperial Majesty,
Okamoto Goro
Kaigun Gensui

Report from my routine patrol.

On my regular patrol through the Tau Border systems, I came across an Order terrorist, ROV-Amun. While I was in a Fighter and not armed with appropriate firepower to hunt a transport class vessel faster than it could flee in the direction of Gallia, the other oddities I found were. An Auxesian strike force consisting of a fighter, a gunboat, and a battleship were there, along with a Rogue and a Zoner, both in fightercraft. After the dispatching of the terrorist, I followed the strike group to a nearby Baxter anomaly, where Xenoforms performed some sort of dance maneuver. They were completely oblivious to outside input, including when the battleship opened fire. The Xenoforms were dispatched, after which the strike force activated a jump drive towards Bretonia.

In retrospect, I should have detained the Liberty Rogue, but I lost focus on them after the situation with the aliens.

The results of this patrol were three:
  • The Auxesians assured me that these Xenoforms were different from previously encountered ones, and posed significant threat.
  • I was given a name, Revenant, where I should direct further inquiries on these Xenoforms.
  • The Rogue referenced zombies in reference to two people who remained unnamed. This at first appeared to be a joke, but the way in which they spoke about it did not seem to be a joking manor.

Attached are relevant audio logs and guncam images.

Itto Kaisa Kojima of the Niyodo reporting in.

At approximately 11:08 Sirian Standard Time today, we happened to find a Med Force Enterprises affiliated (a Zoner organization offering independent medical services across Sirius) 'Whale'-class transport carrying an obscene number of five thousand humans. Upon investigation, the Zoner claimed these were emergency evacuees from Liberty following the escalation between certain Zoner forces and Liberty's authorities.

Not only were these alleged evacuees transported in a vessel unsuited for such a task, the Captain was contradicting himself by briefly stating these people were heading to and not coming from the Pennsylvania system. Further, the Captain planned to traverse Outcast territory and de-facto serve them free slaves through this.

After we applied some mild pressure, the Captain rerouted towards the Sigma cluster with Freeport 9 as destination. We also informed them to have Med Force Enterprises contact us over these "evacuation efforts".

To add my personal judgement: We should monitor Zoner vessels closely. Any movement of cargo or humans inbound or outbound from the Republic of Liberty conducted by Zoners should be investigated to ensure they do not utilize their freedom of movement within our territory in a fashion potentially harming our biliteral relations with Liberty.

Respectfully,
Itto Kaisa, Kojima Isamu

Sixty-Sixth's Itsumaden reporting in. I bring good news today.

As some may recall, several months ago, Kishiro Technologies decided to grant the Republic of Liberty insights on some of their newer weapon technology advancements. As controversial as this decision was, the Imperial Diet and the Office of Intelligence considered it worthwhile to show such a gesture of cooperation towards Liberty.

According to the sparse logs, the "Shotoku" was escorted by a Naval Forces contingent hailing from the Capitol instead of the Myoko. Surely those with some awareness of the declassified mission logs heard the tale of the entire convoys mysterious disappearance, to nobody's surprise given the volatile state of the Kepler system.

The Office of Intelligence refused to take on the task to investigate further after losing five pilots within this hellhole of a system.

This is Mizui Naruhito and I have taken it upon myself to find out about the Shotoku's whereabouts - successfully. Unsurprisingly, the Kepler system remains greatly destabilized and extremely hazardous to navigate. Thankfully, the stubborn fools of Ames laid out buoys to leading to the mentioned Research Base.

I can promise you, we do not seem to be very welcome there. Just to make sure they'll give me the right pointers and grant me access to their fuel reserves, I brought a ship load of basic supplies to them. Any and all Kusari vessels venturing into Kepler should carry gifts for the people of Ames. However, my own data and the bits the Office of Intelligence revealed, suggest that nobody should enter the system unless it is urgently required.

The locals turned out to be of very little help, with suggestions to "stick to the paths we discovered" and the like. I did not come unprepared. The Itsumaden is outfitted with lightweight missiles, which proved to be awfully helpful in locating the - as the Zoners call them - pockets of "invisible death" present across the entire storm. For those not familiar with the Office's data set, these pockets - or rather large scale areas - almost instantly lead to a collapse of hull integrity upon venturing into them.

When the missiles disintegrated, I had located a pocket.

Three hours of navigation later, post anomalies which were they not deep within the storm would be interesting for Keiretsu scientists, and several incredibly stressful moments, I managed to locate the Shotoku. There was no sign of any of the escort forces, not within the vicinity of the wreck nor on my way there.
The Itsumaden's scanners were hindered greatly by the radioactive pocket close to the wreckage, however there were visibile no indications of a battle, instead the vessel is slowly eroding into a clump of radioactive molten metal.

Any and all potential experimental weaponry carried by the Shotoku, with the exception of one small container, is gone. No signs of outside force leave us to believe that the intense radiation cleaned up after us.

I have successfully managed to escape hell and return the container to Yokosuka. Initial feedback suggests that this weapon design originates from Kansai and that Yokosuka currently harbors several similar prototypes.

The small drone utilized for recording purposes sadly did not survive. The little intact data I managed to save is attached.

Santo Kaii Saburo Kirazaki, reporting in.

Following a brief outfitting at Hamamatsu, Tonbokiri of the 66th accompanied me as I got a grasp on what patrol duty entails. We got to know each other a little bit before our patrol took us to the Sigma-13 system.

We encountered a Kishiro transport vessel labeled "0xDeliverance" transporting synth paste to the Narita Outpost, a common sight around the area following the Kyushu tragedy and succeeding relief effort. We escorted the vessel through the Hiro Cloud in Honshu, where we spotted a Corsair vessel identified as "DTR-Eradicio". He quickly fled the scene and commanding officer of the patrol, Tonbokiri advised against chasing, prioritizing the safe passage of the Kishiro vessel.

As we left the transport at the New Tokyo jump gate, we headed back to Sigma-13 and then further on down to Sigma-15. Just as we warped in, we spotted a Farmers' Alliance Cruiser heading through the jump gate we just left. Shortly after, three Büro des Marinenachrichtendiensts fighters appeared through the trade lane from Freeport 8. We teamed up and headed in pursuit of the ship.

Back in Sigma-13, we met with KOI officer "SDF-Midoriko" who intercepted the cruiser along with two other Alliance fighter ships. A few other independent ships joined us in taking care of the terrorists with no casualties on our end, fortunately.

Our patrol came to an end as we arrived in Honshu once again and Tonbokiri was called back to base. I thanked him for being patient with me as he left and I proceeded to get back to base for refuelling and ammo restocking.

For Kusari,
Santo Kaii Saburo Kirazaki.

This is Nakajima Honoka, Ship-Commander of Battleship Sapporo. I report on inscreased Outcast-activity at the Kusari-borders. The Maltese Navy has started an offensive in Sigma-17, sieging a Cryer-Station at Nemuro Dustfield. I also spotted numerous smaller vessels of maltese origin, also in Neighboring systems. I also sent notice of that to our government (I attached a copy of my report). I believe we cannot count on the Bounty Hunter's Guild to defend our borders from our enemies. Until further orders we will keep patroling the area.

For the Empire! Signing out.

Transmission end.

Nito Kaisa Yoshioka Kunio of the KOI, reporting in.

With the increased demand of H-Fuel and ships heading to Liberty, we were positioned in the Sigma-13 system to stop any Liberty vessel moving H-Fuel back into Liberty.

Our scanners managed to pick up a Bristol ship, class unknown heading to Honshu, after a brief conversation we were informed that Bristol is now able to build their own ship class. While the ship looked like a ordinary one, their weaponry was certainly not. We are not sure if we should allow such vessels with heavy armament into our home systems.

I will upload the footage now.

We advise that the Naval Highcommand comes to a clear answer how we should handle such heavy armed ships.

Following the Arch defense operations, the Yugiri was reshuffled to join rapid response wings as part of the New Tokyo garrison. Now whilst we usually do not have anything noteworthy to report requiring a submission to the NOH, there appears to be a recent most troublesome trend we have noticed and wish to highlight towards the Admiralty.

It is common knowledge that some of Kishiro's IP manages to leave Planet Honshu without actual sales records and cargo manifest and that all sides involved remain committed to combating this theft of intellectual property, however it is very troublesome to note that we've intercepted the third instance of a Samura vessel hauling unmarked Kishiro IP within the past two weeks. Unlike the previous Captains, the vessel under callsign 'MakHita.25' belonging to Samura Industries refused to cooperate and explain themselves. Attempts to press on and flee the scene were in vain and we were forced to use our guns on Keiretsu assets. The vessel has been disabled and some of the cargo crates survived the gunfire and will be transferred to Planet Honshu, from which point on the State Police will carry out standard procedures.. We know that firing on Keiretsu assets is an absolute last resort and we'll brace for the storm of lawyers about to come.

Despite these dire circumstances, we hope the Admiralty understands our decision and supports our notion to 'respectfully lay out' to both Keiretsu that we cannot tolerate outright theft as business practice in domestic affairs and that offending individual Captains will be treated in the same manner as everyone else in front of the Imperial Stellar Codex.

In humble service of the Kusari Empire,
Santo Kaisa, Amaya Mizui
