RE: One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - Virgil Samms - 01-11-2014 ![]() To: LPI High Command
ID: Sargeant Samms Location: New York Priority: Low Subject: Trader instigated response Report 17 Warning call issued first by Economical.Shopper, of Gallic incursion in Magellan, a Valor class Battleship RNS-Montreuil. My SWAT Roc informed all LNS, 5th| and SFC ships in Liberty of the threat then moved to California as support. LNS-Battleship.Illinois and LNS-Rheinfall responded. The Navy ships entered Magellan and I followed as support, my SWAT having a cruise disrupter that may have proved useful. A brief trip to Freeport 4 and the surrounding space revealed no ship and long range scanners indicated the RNS vessel had moved to Leeds. Returned to California whilst the LNS vessels moved into Leeds, overall an uneventful use of rocket fuel. Report ends: Sargeant Samms. ![]() RE: One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - Zeeroi - 02-05-2014 ----Patrol Report---- To: LPI High Command Date: 02/04/821 AS ID: Recruit Zeeroi Talbot Location: New York, Detroit Debris Field and Planet Manhatten Subject: First Patrol, Rogue Hellhounds and Outcast Tridente Report 1 This was my first patrol with LPI. I was transported to Planet Manhattan with my Liberator and was awaiting orders. I was told to undock and remain in close orbit of the Planet, and I will find a superior officer who will let me tag along with his patrol. My patrol began outside Planet Manhattan with LPI Officer Jack Bauer, who was piloting his bomber. We moved away from Planet Manhattan and took the tradelane to Fort Bush. Along the way, we received a transmission from LNS-Arkansas stating that there were two Liberty Rogue Hellhound gunboats just outside the Detroit Debris Field. LNS Arkansas was calling for assistance with the two gunboats who have open fired on his ship. We made our way towards the edge of the debris field, and we were joined by to Navy 5th Fleet bombers, and it was clear that these two gunboats were not in the mood for conversation. We announced that we were engaging and began firing on them. As I was in my Liberator Light Fighter, I managed to draw the attention of one of the gunboats and led him around in circles within firing range of the LNS Arkansas. I took a few hits here and there, but managed to keep my ship together throughout the engagement. After one gunboat was down, an Outcast ship had been spotted on our long range scanners 10K away, being the fastest ship I set to cruise speed and went to find out what class of ship it was. Within 6K I managed to scan his ship, it was an Outcast Tridente. After relaying necessary information to the bombers and LNS- Arkansas, I drew the Tridente's attention back to the engagement with the remaining Hellhound. With the bombers and the Arkansas trajectories lined up, they made quick work of the outcast gunboat. It wasn't long before the final rogue gunboat ran dry of shield batteries and nanobots, and was blown to dust in the debris field. One final sweep of the debris field turned up a freelancer with an incorrect IFF (showing Hessian), after some questioning, the freelancer agreed to get his hardware checked out to fix this glitch in his ship's neural net. We returned to Planet Manhattan, and debriefed the patrol. 5th fleet and LNS-Arkansas returned to their stations. -----End of Patrol Report----- RE: One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - Zeeroi - 02-05-2014 ---- Patrol Report---- To: LPI High Command Date: 02/05/821 AS ID: Recruit Zeeroi Talbot Location: New York, Planet Manhattan to Colorado Jump Gate Subject: First Solo Patrol, Black Market Munition smugglers Report 2 After my first day on patrol, I debriefed with my supervising officer. My performance was satisfactory during that patrol, but not the level of excellence that LPI strives for, I needed to commit more and give more to the force. His words were, "I've seen you in training Recruit, you ain't the best we got. You ain't bad, but you ain't the best. Which means you are like the rest of us, you gotta work to get to where you want, and I have seen you working hard enough. How many solo patrols have you done? You know, routine patrols, just along the tradelanes in the home systems. Nothing fancy, nothing dangerous, don't what you getting killed, but theres a job that needs doing, and why not you to do it?" I had never done a solo patrol, not since joining as a Recruit. I figured the Sergent was right, I ought to take initiative and do more for the LPI and prove I am worthy of this position. Damn, I wish I had at least done one solo patrol before that debrief, that would have saved me from wiping at least half of the Sergent's spittle off my helmet and face. I went down and spoke to some of the other officers in orbit around Planet Manhattan, and I figured my best bet for a routine patrol would be along the tradelanes to the Colorado Jumpgate. Off I went, with a full set of nanobots and shield batteries, and as many cruise disruptors my little fighter could take. It wasn't look before I spotted two rookie smugglers holding Black Market Munitions, two full cargo bays of it. I proceeded towards them at full cruise speed and ordered them to halt. They cut power to the engines immediately, and I instantly thought that was far too easy, something must be up. I approached them and begin making my arrest, and demanded they drop their cargo. It wasn't long that they decided to make a run for it, I managed to disrupt their cruise engines, and just in time the LNS-Arkansas appeared. At which point they started to fire on us, and I gave the Arkansas all clear to assist in engaging the smugglers. It wasn't long until black market munitions were scattered into space and destroyed on sight, except for a few samples taken for evidence. With a quick debrief with Captain Walter of the LNS Arkansas, the scene was quickly cleaned up and my patrol came to an end. It was an eventful second patrol, something my liberator ship could handle, not like the Liberty Rogue gunboats from my first patrol, which just made me feel adequate. I am starting to feel like I just might fit with this faction, so long as I keep working hard and prove my worth. ----End of Patrol Report RE: One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - Vulkhard Muller - 02-11-2014 ![]() To: LPI High Command From: Officer Colt Subject: Hostile Freelancer Encounter Alright time to log this encounter, damn kruats gonna pay for the damages to my ship *He begins typing up his report* Henry Colt Reporting an encounter with a Hostile Freelancer by the name of "Tax_Collector" This is the account of the encounter: Went on a small patrol and found a Freelancer with a Republican Transponder hauling Blood Diamonds, saw him near Fort Bush. I had him cut his engines and prepare for cargoscan. I knew trouble was brewing from that moment because he would not cut his engines. I gave him another warning to cut his engines. And began to explain why I was stopping him. However, as I was questioning him on his transponder he explained to me that he has been smuggling through Rheinland into and out of Liberty for quite a while!. Then after a while of trying to explain that he is breaking the law by dooing so, he proceeds to open fire on me. I begin engaging him and chased him back to Baltimore were he docked his ship. Note I did have a New Recruit with me, strange name but he claimed a Liberty Navy told him to join the Liberty Police so, I wasn't complaining the company was nice, Though he did keep complaining about his. I collected 2 million credits of fines from a patrol a few days ago, unfortunately my ship suffered some damage later in that patrol and I have lost records of this fine and the transferal of the credits. Perhaps someone from the LPI bank staff can confirm it has been received? Sorry for the lack of records, I shall aim to preserve these logs better next time I come under fire. Regards, Zeeroi Talbot
RE: One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - Jonas Valent - 02-12-2014 ![]() When I woke up this morning I had a bad feeling about today's patrol. I tried to shake off the feeling during my healthy breakfast (Bear Claws with Chocolate Sprinkles and Coffee) but I couldn't get the thought out of my head. I got into my uniform and left my apartment and headed towards the launchpad. I knew I was scheduled to patrol with Recruit Officer Zeeroi Talbot and Captain John Aryn today. Lets just say this did not exactly buoy my spirits. Though Zeeroi was only a recruit his combat skills were quite impressive. I felt a tad jealous that this recruit was so good and yet also was so young. As far as Captain Aryn, I wasn't sure what to make of him. Though he was my superior I have realized that he can be quite an odd character. You never really know whats gonna happen when he is around. I decided to fly my Raven's Talon today since I knew Zeeroi would be in a Liberator and I was unsure as to what Captain Aryn would be flying since he is a tad unpredictable. I figured my Raven would be a good balance. Considering my evil coffeemaker/AI Cara was installed in my Warran bomber I was loathe to use that ship. It would be nice to actually enjoy this flight without listening to her mean spirited comments about my weight. That coffeemaker can really destroy your spirits after an extended period of time. Anyway, enough about that devil coffeemaker of mine. I launched out to space from Manhattan and contacted my fellow LPI. We grouped up at Fort Bush after the customary run to pick up donuts and coffee at Sunbucks. We caught sight of a rogue named Alex.Ripley. Zeeroi was the first in pursuit and demanded the rogue halt. Of course the Rogue was not amenable to that demand and kept running while calling out taunts to us. We eventually were able to disrupt his cruise engines and engaged him in a battle. He was quite a coward though and instead of facing us he docked at Rochester station. Shortly after this, Captain Aryn and myself went to check out a contact in Cali. Captain Aryn had gotten a report of a rogue out by the JG in Cali. We headed that way but found no sign of this contact upon entering California. We eventually returned to New York and headed back to Fort Bush. Upon examining Long Range Scans we found a large group of Xenos heading towards New York from Colorado. We made contact with these hostiles in the tradelane between Fort Bush and the Colorado Jumpgate. Seeing the odds were greatly against us Captain Aryn ordered us to abort. However our new recruit had already been engaged by the Xenos and we felt duty bound to fight and die by his side. After a short time first Captain Aryn's Guardian, then my Raven, and finally our recruit's Libby were destroyed. I am now writing this log as I float through space in my escape pod. I can only hope that I and my comrades will eventually be rescued. I have now floated through space for over a week and the comms from my comrades grow weaker as we drift farther and farther apart. I glance at my instrument panel and notice my oxygen gauge is down to 1 hour. My mind goes into overdrive as I try to think of some way, anyway, out of this situation. As the oxygen levels drop I grow more at peace with my fate. I settle back in my seat and close my eyes. I know the end is near...................................................... ............LPI escape pod?........... ............Do you read me?............... ............This is a DSE Mining Ship I have received your escape pods beacon............... .............Hold on Officer, We will be there shortly................. I wake up and am blinded by bright lights. I see movement and I ask, "Am I dead?" "No Officer. You will be just fine. Though it was a close call you should recover fully." I heard a voice respond. I look up and see a figure in a DSE uniform."Thank you friend. I will never forget this," I tell him and then slip back into unconsciousness. RE: One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - Zeeroi - 02-13-2014 ![]() To: LPI Treasury Department ID: Zeeroi Talbot Location: Fort Bush, New York Subject: Transferring fine from Order ship in Colorado Encryption: HIGH Priority: LOW I began my patrol in Colorado at the New York Jump Gate. I made a sweep through the Asteroid fields near Pueblo and spotted an Order ship, t015A "Nephthys" The Order Very Heavy Fighter. Which upon consulting my field manual of Liberty Law Section 3.III, I deduced was an illegal vessel in Liberty space. I approached the Pilot, who had a Freelancer ID, and began explaining the situation to him, and his choices. Instead of immediately firing on him, I provided him an alternative which was to pay the fine and be escorted out of Liberty space. Which after some discussion, he agreed and I escorted him to the Kepler Jump gate and he left Liberty space. I have attached logs showing the transmissions between my ship and the Order vessel. They are located below. Code: [13.02.2014 18:53:03] LPI-Zeeroi.Talbot[RO]: Captain Wanderer, do you copy?Report logs of transferal of 1 million credits to Leavenworth. RE: One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - Zeeroi - 02-19-2014 ![]() To: LPI High Command ID: Zeeroi Talbot Location: Fort Bush, New York Subject: Rheinland encounter in Texas Encryption: HIGH Priority: HIGH I have an urgent transmission for LPI high command. I have just come off from what I thought would be a routine patrol in the Texas system. I was flying Fighter #1 of the Raven's Talon Wing along with Mizushima who was in his Raven's Talon. We were joined by an independent law keeper Gemma Gray and soon after that one of LSF's pilots, Virgo. We were escorting =LSF= Virgo to LPI Sugarland, just within orbit of Planet Brazos. Sugarland received an unknown transmission from a pilot requesting asylum. Due to LSF demanding that sensitive information remain confidential I am not able to state his name, but I have a recording of his transmissions to Sugarland. Hang on, let me play it back. ****Buzzing of transmission signals**** "Sugarland! Sugarland, this is Rheinland military Major *censoring beep*!!! I request asylum!" I'll let the transmission play on a bit more. ****Buzzing of transmission signals crackles again**** This is LSF Agent Virgo, Proceed to Sugarland. Sugarland!! I am under attack!! Request assistance!! This is SWAT squadron leader Rokuro Mizushima. Sector F6. I am 16 klicks out!! We are en route to your position. LPI station. I am under attack! Repeat under attack. Please send assistance! Mayday! The LSF pilot accompanied by the LPI SWAT wing and the independent lawkeeper left Sugarland in search of this unknown Rheinland Major. When we approached our scanners picked up that our subject was being tailed by four Rheinland Military officers. I am unable to provide their names as LSF has again deemed that information sensitive. After some negotiation, it was clear that the Rheinland Military were not going to cease fire on the subject, and we moved in to assist. The Rheinlanders had been chasing this target for quite some time, and were low on power and physically exhausted, this gave us the upperhand. After the better part of an hour fighting, 3 of their pilots were down and one pilot decided to retreat toward the debris field. I was able to disrupt his cruise engines and keep him locked down. He decided to surrender and begged us to hold fire. We listened to his story, which I am afraid I am unable to repeat on this transmission. He claimed that he had tractored the other three Rheinland pilots and that his cargo scan shows that their life signs are stable. The LSF Agent Virgo called in the =LSF= Langley. In the mean time we had kept the Rheinland pilot locked down and the mysterious Rheinland Major was forced to remain in close formation. When the Langley arrived they were forced to dock and arrested. At this point the situation was taken out of LPI hands, the LSF took the two pilots and the 3 escape pods off to Alaska for questioning. Perhaps you can communicate with LSF if you desire to learn more of the situation, but I fear I may have said too much and I have tried to only transmit information that is not confidential. I am returning to base now, my patrol is complete, I was not expecting so much excitement. I have been transferred to New York for routine patrols and scans there. Recruit Zeeroi Talbot, out.
RE: One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - Jonas Valent - 03-21-2014 ![]() I started my patrol today and found nothing of interest through my flight through Colorado and Texas. I returned to Manhattan to check for smugglers and eventually found Kondensat. He was hauling Slaves on a Pirate train. I immediately ordered him to halt and drop the slaves. He eventually complied and when forced to pay the corresponding fine he first refused. After a bit of "persuading" he paid his fine and was warned not to carry slaves again. Evidence Evidence 2 I also encountered a ship callsign Red.Rocket. He was flying a freelancer ID'd ship and claimed he was collecting a bounty on me. In his persistance in claiming this bounty he attempted to attack me while I was parked near Hoover station. As may be guessed he did not last long after that thanks to Hoover's defenses. RE: One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - Jonas Valent - 03-23-2014 ![]() Today I had a very interesting patrol. When I first started my patrol I was informed of a large battle near Rochester. Multiple [LN] and =LSF= were battling several unlawfuls. I arrived late in the encounter however and was only able to assist with a few torpedoes before all the hostiles were destroyed. I returned to Manhattan for a routine smuggling check until my scanners caught a glimpse of an Outcast Sarissa Battleship named YAKUZA. Though I was alone I decided to check out this ship. After a brief chase I got close enough to establish communications. After a short chat I decided to engage this Outcast. Alone with my trusty Warran bomber I started my engagement of this Battleship. I started my attack with several torpedo shots at maximum range. After landing several hits I moved within 3 k and continued my torpedo runs. I was able to drop his shields with my torpedo attacks. I then moved to my Shorter range antimatter cannon and started making runs against this Battleship. During my torpedo runs the Battleship tried very hard to land hits on me but was only successful twice. Each time he hit me he did drop my shields which I countered by using up all my shield batteries. I had completely dropped his shields and run down his nano bots. When several ships caught wind of this battle and moved in to assist. I would like to state for the record that I did not call for any assistance and feel confidant I could have handle this inept Outcast by myself. However, With the massive firepower brought to bear against this Outcast by myself and the ships that came to assist this Battleship was destroyed.
