Salutations, it is Pilot Mcarthur, one of the newest recruits, reporting in from Yaren base after an engagement with the Nomands resulting in the acquiring of a fighter remain. (I have sold my ORCA on request of the authorities and purchased myself a Manta with equipment).
SITUATION REPORT
Upon receiving the initiate task, I headed out towards Omicron-Minor in search of Nomad ships.
Upon reaching the Jump Hole I was assaulted by a large sortie of Nomad Fighter-Class craft ranging around eight or ten independent ships. Upon encountering these ships so close to our space, I was caught off guard and had my shields downed instantly by fire and missiles. I activated my reserves of nanobots and shield batteries and began evasive manoeuvring around the Jump-Hole. I then dropped multiple mines and began picking off ships one-by-one while turning broad loops similar to atmospheric dog-fighting, with such a thickness of ships I was able to out circle the ships while they struggled to stay on target.
After gunning down all of the ships I salvaged one fighter body before limping back to Yaren, most of my systems had been damaged, I was out of batteries and nanobots and I was breathing off of the cockpits internal air supply as I docked. Before turning my ship over to the engineers, I pulled out the guncam datadisk and ran it through, the camera had also been badly shot up and most of the footage was heavily corrupted or just static. I managed to pull out some critical frames that have been attached to the encoding:

Today I executed primal orders as initiate Core pilot. I've gone to Omicron Iota to hunt some nomad and to obtain some nomad remains. Initially I've found 2 Nomad very heavy fighters and I've managed to kill them near the nomad lane. I thought that my first report as Core Guardian could show a success battle or something, instead I have to advice you that the old Zoner ceasefire imposed has broken!
Today I was patrolling on Omicron Delta and during this it's appeared a Zoner Capital ship that when it has just saw me has started to taunt me. Then it has opened fire against me, while there was a Cloaked nomad! Here's the chat log:

This is my second report! Everyday I regularly do some patrols in Omicron Delta and in other cases I do this around all Omicrons else. Today was the second case.
I and a my brother are done a patrol and we've spotted a Lane Hacker ship in Omicron Minor that it's jumped to Omicron Rho Jump hole. In that system we've managed to stop him. It was a Dromedary that carrying some cardamine, entire cargo, over 600 units, If I remember. The Scipio just returned from an attack that lead us to Omicron Xi, where we were met with strong resistance.
Im delightes to report that death did not take us this day, but reached out to our opponents.
In details, the Core|WV-Scipio and the SHIKARI|Shaktiman entered the Xi system from north. We expected harsh treatment and when we were met with it we returned the favor.
First a Legate with a Gunboat and a Bomber engaged, after we ended their misery another Legate engaged. For honor we allowed it to fight one of our ships alone. It then fled only to attack my ship, whereafter it fled again. It then agreed to fight the Scipio, its captains last mistake.
Soon a new wave of opponents appeared.
One Legate, one Murmillo a Gunboat and a Fighter.
We took those out as well whereafter we did not recieve any more attention. So we moved back to Delta to get the necessary repairs done.

That Freelancer thought this area was free and didn't know the no-limit zone of the area. Another guy that didn't even read the Core laws. The fact is that he doesn't have money to pay the ticket. This time I demanded him to drop the cargo and let go away. If this repeats I could think the idea of destroy that ship. Let's see if he's understood the lesson! However the cargo now is ours. I've sent it to Durban station if you need it. 110 Azurite gas confiscated (Counting my secondary fleet colleauge that has done same thing)!

Subject: Multiple reconnaissance reports

Just finished up a patrol in Nomad Space, was a hell'uva run at that too. Was harassed by multiple contacts on my way through the systems, didn't have too much trouble avoiding or engaging when opportunity arose. Some of these were a bit difficult to get, coming under fire from nomad defenses, or having to wait until patrols were at a minimum to capture these. Most of these areas have already been logged before in the database, so I wouldn't consider this more than just a routine patrol. What is notable however, is contact was made with Outcasts of the "72nd Fleet", apparently they're not on good relations with the Maltese nor the Nomads. I would recommend caution if we continue to deal with this group, but not outright hostility, they could be useful to us. Unfortunately, I do not have audio logs for my conversations with the 72nd as they were corrupted due to damage sustained on my ship while in Nomad space. Cockpit footage however is available and is being submitted with this report.

Also included in this transmission is another report of Order activity in Omicron Minor. They managed to build an outpost rapidly and sent forces to defend it; it fell to Nomads however even faster despite their attempts. 3 Nomad battleships plowed through their defensive line and the base was destroyed within minutes.
That's all I have to report as of now, will continue to look into the 72nd Fleet using Zoner contacts for information.
