Hello there,

The lack of a lore & storyline development for one more patch for the Lane Hackers faction was really disappointing but expected. For months now, we are in talks with @Teerin in order for our vanilla faction to have its first real story development but also to deliver it to the players of DiscoveryGC in the most immersive and unique way, as we always strive.


To the developers. This Mod Development Request was lost, forgotten, we don't know. We are posting it here since you're preparing a small repair-patch.

Vindicator Selling Locations


Hello there, we would like to request a few easy and quick fixes associated with the latest updates.

Even though we explicitly provided the bases where we'd like the Vindicator to be sold at, it is currently only sold on Airdrie Hideout, a hidden base with LH Guard rep in the most remote part of Liberty. This is not how people will learn about it, pull the effort of fixing the reputation and going all the way to Alberta in order to start playing with the newest dev release.

The current faction roleplay behind the Bayonet is that it is produced but sold instead on civilian markets (usually black market) as to our eyes it is an outdated model, surpassed by far by the Vindicator. Subsequently we don't want the Bayonet to be sold any longer on LH bases, it should be moved to civilian/freelancer/zoner bases.

Here is our proposal:

Vindicator should be sold at Mactan Base (in place of Bayonet), Leiden Base, Airdrie Hideout (in place of Pirate Transport). The Airdrie one is already done.

Bayonet should be sold at Ames Research Station (in place of Griffin, there is long standing RP since vanilla about our cooperation with the Zoners at Ames), Heisenberg Research Station (already there), Freeport 6 (in place of Voyager as it is already sold next system). Bayonet's sellpoint in Alexandria does not make much sense since there is not an actual market there.


Vindicator's Release Announcement


There was no announcement about the new ship's release, in fact outsiders told us about it who randomly found it in FLStat, otherwise we would probably not even know to this date.

When there is development it should be announced, as it creates hype and interest for people to come in and try out the new features/releases. In particular our faction, which is struggling with activity, really needs a dev announcement which will inform the playerbase about the new ship. Currently there is only a tiny fraction of Discovery's playerbase that knows that the Lane Hackers have a new VHF.

Perhaps that will draw more people to try it out (provided that when the announcement is made it is not only sold on Airdrie) and some of them perhaps will join the faction afterwards. It is no secret that a faction shipline is a central factor when a player decides to join a faction or its lack thereof is considered a huge deterrent.


Jump Gate and Trade Lane Parts commodity in wrecks


Our recruits have informed us that the following wrecks no longer drop the aforementioned commodity but instead they drop Docking Ring Parts. We would like to request this to be reversed as it is an intergral part of our recruitment process as you can see in the image below.

We sincerely request and hope that the proposed changes will be applied as soon as possible. Unlike our previous Mod Development Request which hasn't been implemented yet after a full year, these requests are much more time-sensitive and important to the faction.

Vespucci has been deguarded, with the western half of the system largely containing civilian Commonwealth NPCs. You should be able to fly through it without any issue.

Kansas' other jump links include Pennsylvania and Texas holes.

Thanks for fixing the mining in Gamma, rocks are much more visible, have better drops and field is more dense, good work (Y)

However, I see that Raba still can't mine and Sunburst sellpoint wasn't added to the Freeport in Theta, even though I was told it would be. Can someone please tell me why is that?

The other thing is the Corsair Prims, I asked for them to be fixed because they were just really bad (too much power, slowest projectile speed of them all) and now I see that the range has been nerfed to 2400m, power requirements increased, damage nerfed a bit and speed increased for 30m/s. Is this a mistake or something? Because, they are even worse now then they were.

Last but not least, I sent the files for Corsair snub engines, is there any particular reason why they weren't added with this patch? I sent those atleast 2 weeks before patch went out.
