what are you doing
stop

So unfortunate that this is true. Saddest truth about Disco tbt.

- Indeed.

- Get blacklisted because someone assumes you want to sell Disco's stuff on ebay.

I just see that someone deleted my comment. Do i have to pay 1 billion to have the CHANCE to get back the right for having an opinion here?

If all the requests will be handled the same way Olympia canonisation was handled - then the staff team's better off letting go of that abomination.

RE: Notice: Roleplay Canonization Requests - Prysin - 12-16-2019

@Durandal

Your reply, it's why people, including myself, no longer can take you seriously.

If i didn't know better, i'd think you're actually deliberately trying to slowly strangle the community to death. Because every change i see so far, seems to head in that direction. This one, is no exception.

You could have solved the manpower issue, in the devteam, by simply decreeing that "If you want a change to lore, you must learn to mod disco and contribute the changes you want. These changes will still be subject to vetting, quality control and a vote from the devteam"

you could have done that. That alone would have dropped the suggestion rate, and those few who remains steadfast, would litterally become developer assistants FOR YOU.

You'd solve both YOUR and the communities issue at once.

im not 100% on this but im pretty sure that there has never been someone as universally hated by the majority of the community as durandal is

at this point if i was him id just focus on getting back some brownie points and one of the first things id do would be reverting a change that literally nobody likes lmao

The majority of the community isn't affected by this stuff at all.

And I'm not sure that bringing personal hatred into this is in any way constructive.

But I'm pretty sure that the people whose actions are motivated by their own or other people's personal hatred are exactly the kind of people that shouldn't be listened to. And we do have a lot of those, yes.

EDIT: Oops wrong account. Try to guess who I am.

RE: Notice: Roleplay Canonization Requests - Timinator - 12-16-2019

The majority of this community consists of around 20 people nowdays

Edit: /pingtarget Sabah Research Section... oh wait xD

Is it though? Perhaps some people may not be affected by now, but as they seek for a more emergent and interactive roleplay experience they may get a rude awakening when they cross paths with this.

Also consider that there's easily many people, 100+, who still have Discovery installed and are willing to play the game when it's worth their while (think to the Gallic events) changes like this are going to discourage them from playing even more, and it's exactly why we have on average 20 players right now.

The LWB approves.

On a more serious note: This whole thing looks like it wasnt given enough thought and just posted for the sake of pretending to do something.
