Liberty in Alaska (afaik they exist already), Kusari in Tohoku, Rheinland in Omega-58 or Thuringia and Bretonia in Darlington. Honestly I prefer it as an Omicron exclusive thing. It gives the local factions purpose (when there's not oorp silliness like now) At least for the higher tier / cap missions. RE: 2020 PvE Overhaul, Phase 1: Current State and NPC/Mission Reworks - Lonely_Ghost - 06-09-2020 Not necessary nomads, but I'd say every house should have an easy access to high reward missions, to somehow attract players actually being in-game, Just remember Omicron Eta times. There were always around 4-5 MNS caps. RE: 2020 PvE Overhaul, Phase 1: Current State and NPC/Mission Reworks - Lemon - 06-09-2020 It's the same in O.Tau now you team up with randos to do missions Have a PoB that buys at good prices Obviously means going there as anyone but outcasts is suicide But you still get a lot of PvE teaming up interactions RE: 2020 PvE Overhaul, Phase 1: Current State and NPC/Mission Reworks - Lythrilux - 06-09-2020 (06-09-2020, 11:31 AM)Lonely_Ghost Wrote: Not necessary nomads, but I'd say every house should have an easy access to high reward missions, to somehow attract players actually being in-game, There should really be systems carefully placed between home systems designed to be hotspots for PvE. I proposed a similar thing here. RE: 2020 PvE Overhaul, Phase 1: Current State and NPC/Mission Reworks - Gabriel Hunter - 01-02-2022 Hello everyone! Just a quick question here as i am a bit confused. So from what i can gather the kill bounty is calculated based on the estimated strength of the NPC ship that you destroy. So up until recently the amount of bounty i have been getting has been consistent to the rules detailed in this thread (900,000 for one gunboat for example), however, today i upgraded and got my first Battlecruiser (the Core one), and since then, all gunboat bounty kills dropped to 540,000 per gunboat. I tried playing around with different ID's but the results are the same, so i can only assume that's because of the ship being more powerful. However, i haven't seen anywhere any rule saying the power of the NPC enemy is being calculated relative to the power of your own ship. Have i missed anything? or is this drop in bounty due to something else entirely? RE: 2020 PvE Overhaul, Phase 1: Current State and NPC/Mission Reworks - Karst - 01-02-2022 You are correct, payouts scale with ship classes, weaker ships paying more. When the system was first introduced, payouts were static. Edit: Consult this guide. RE: 2020 PvE Overhaul, Phase 1: Current State and NPC/Mission Reworks - Gabriel Hunter - 01-02-2022 Thanks for the quick reply! Awesome system by the way, makes missions a lot more worthwhile! RE: 2020 PvE Overhaul, Phase 1: Current State and NPC/Mission Reworks - Fab - 02-02-2022 I have a couple of questions regarding PvE. is mission difficulty range depending on base a thing? If yes, - Where can I find higher difficulty missions? - Is there a list of bases where said missions are offered? I've also heard about "Battlefields(zones)". What are they, and how they work? |
