Not if you view it with the perspective that their actions are in both the defense and best interests of Kusari. You're trying to apply a Bretonian standpoint to a Kusari initiative.

Now your playing semantics, the base is jointly operated by Samura and Kishiro, the base is as much KNF as a Kishiro or Samura base in Kusari.

The KNF wouldn't have a controlling presence on a base which A)uses their IFF and B) is the base that is the frontline of a war?

And they're defending Kusari from foreign traders (their goal) how? It isn't defence, it's conquest. Britain invading India was defence, right?

Care to rename your faction 'Kyushu Volunteers', since you obviously have drifted so many miles from what Farmer's Alliance are?

To the liberty factions aiding the war effort has anyone seen ANY liberty traders in bretonia? i dont remember seeing any.

Are there any info cards stateing that they are aiding bretonia with the war?

Also wouldn't the KNF still base off that station they were the ones to capture it after all.

I would think they would base off of the Kusari Battleship stationed near the base. And the Treaty of Curacao is proof enough of complicity

Well, about the KNF basing off of Stokes, that's ridiculous from what i understand.

The Stokes infocard states that BAF lost the station due to it being a strategically poor place to defend, right?
Why would the attacking force that just proved a place to be indefensible then go and settle in to make the same mistake?

Stokes should not be the front line base of the KNF.

On a more broad perspective...
Why is this even an issue?
Does the AFA being in Leeds, Newcastle, and Edinburg ruin anyone's day?
Does it ruin anyone's RP experience?

Those are genuine questions, because I honestly don't know.
So far, though, it seems to me like it would do nothing but add to the area's RP potential.
It'll certainly give my BPA character someone to chase around, and my Gateway trader someone to fear.

Edit:
I didn't really clarify my reason for bringing up that first bit, so i'll add a question to it.
Would Samura not have adequate influence on a base to allow the AFA to dock there, considering that the base is indefensible and therefore not extremely important to the KNF?
