Comms ID: Fleet Admiral Richard Wainwright Target ID: Hellfire Legion Got a bit of an odd one to report today. Went out on a late recon mission to Kepler yesterday with Taderu, and one of the VR lads, John Petrucci. As we arrived in the system we picked up a broken distress signal from one of the dark matter clouds. We headed in immediately, as the beacon seemed to mention the Legion. Sure enough, we soon found the vessel. An old Dromedary, a remote drone of some sort. The exterior of the vessel was pretty beaten, but its internals seemed more or less intact. A remote drone of some sort. Initial scans and attempts to dock with the vessel failed, but then its computer systems came to life. We were unable to get much detail, but I recorded the encounter as soon as I was able to calibrate my sensor logs to cope with the dark matter cloud. What follows is incomplete, as I was unable to record our intial discussions, but it should give some idea, and maybe allow our technicians to recover the data that is currently locked as classified! ![]() Wainwright out. ==Comm ID: David Lake== <<Subject: Battle Report>> Greetings Hellfire Legion command, just submitting a standard battle report on the system. Right, so... It started near Fort Bush, where I encountered a cruiser by the name of LNS-Champion. It seemed inclined to talk whilst an LN fighter was attacking a hacker friend of mine, who promptly put the fighter in it's place. I took a quick scan of the opposition while flying. [color=#FF6666]@::Uploading Images::@ ![]() ![]() [color=#FF6666]@::Uploading Complete::@ By the time this was finished, the Lord Commander had arrived and begun talking with the LN while Major Shia and Major Bond were inbound. After the Lord Commander had finished speaking, we went in for the attack. ![]() We targeted the Gunboats first, and took one down. ![]() ![]() Unfortunitly, I was taken down after a lengthy fight before I managed to see another Gunboat destroyed. [color=#FFFFFF]Priority: High Encryption: Full Destination: Hellfire Legion secure comms Source: Lord Commander Reynard Joyeuse, HFB Pandion, Vespucci Subject: Promotions and reports Good afternoon Legion, settle down, it's good news for once... Part 1: Yesterday evening me and PFC Gensai went for a quick recon patrol in New York, during which time we intercepted various transmissions about a Rheinland invasion. Seeing our chance to strike at the navy forces, we proceeded to the Norfolk - Texas lane where a nomad of all things was killed by an LSF agent. We followed the agent who was fleeing to Texas, where he linked up with a second agent and a TLG fighter. They proceeded to engage us, and we turned fire, the TLG quickly being put out of action by PFC Gensai. Under heavy fire and not being able to hard dodge in a bomber, Rethena was gunned down by the LSF agents, after which I managed to tractor in her pod. Eventually I forced one of the agents to flee, and gunned down the second one shortly after. Vice Admiral Galen Anderson, who arrived in the midst of the battle and had been observing then decided he would finish me. Despite being low on nanobots and shield batteries, I couldn't pass up the chance to gun down a Vice Admiral and my efforts were in fact rewarded. Part 2: This morning I headed out from Rochester, going on a routine patrol within the badlands as I waited to link up with Lieutenant Lake. Outside the Pennsylvania Jumpgate I was quickly assaulted by a Liberty gunboat, the HDMS Absalon with little warning other than "stop" followed by a volley of lasers. Shortly after, a second gunboat entered New York through the gate and also began firing. Eventually, Lake arrived and we managed to whittle down one of the gunboats quite a bit. Several other vessels entered the fray on both sides, including an LSF Upholder bomber and a Mandalorian flying an Eagle, both of which I managed to dispatch rather quickly. Eventually a Hacker gunship, the Omaha, arrived on the scene and helped us finish up the gunboats. Surprisingly, Major McKinsey of all people showed up commanding the Abbadon. While this did technically go against orders, were it not for him we may well have been destroyed. Apparently Fleet Admiral Wainwright, who had been ordered to bring the Abbadon into assist had been shot, and McKinsey thought fast in the face of danger, managing to turn the tide of the battle. It is to this end that Major McKinsey is hereby promoted to Fleet Captain. He has also been awarded the Golden Halo, in light of the incident. Congratulations. In addition, I am honored to promote PFC Alan "Taneru" Markson to Lieutenant. He has been invaluable to the Legions efforts and it is a pleasure to welcome him as a full fledged member. [color=#FFFFFF]Priority: High Encryption: High Destination: Hellfire Legion secure comms Source: Lieutenant Alan Markson Subject: Operations Report The following represents a compilation of three seperate sorties. All three were undertaken with my HFX-F1A "Falchion", without the Broadsword Modules. The first of the three sorties was rather uneventful, and I managed to gather scan data on three ships: A Liberty Navy Guardian, a Liberty Security Force Liberator, and a Libert Navy Battlecruiser, the Milford. Scan data uploading now. Vessel Scan: [LN]-Jennifer.Bishop. Vessel Scan: WRECKER-JR Vessel Scan: LNS-Milford The second sortie was more successful, but at the same time far riskier. I managed to gather scan data on a group of Liberty Security Forces snubcraft near Fort Bush: A Havoc Mark II Bomber, a Guardian, and two Avengers. I also collected a scan of a Pytho Bomber belonging to the Universal Shipping subsidiary, The Kings of Freight. As I was moving towards the Badlands, and West Point, however, I ran across a lone Liberty Navy Avenger, who managed to pick my ship up and gave chase. Using my fighter's superior agility, and the range advantage of my CD95XT over his CD98a, I kept him at range while I manuvered him away from the lanes and towards the Pittsburgh debris field. With the scan data I had in my fighter still unsecured, I couldn't risk a dogfight against his figher alone, especially when I was so outmatched. Thus, playing upon his sense of duty and blind devotion to the Navy, I lured him into the nearby particle cloud... and onto the waiting guns of the destroyer within. At this point, I figured any sane pilot would have fallen back, but he didn't let up at all, and I was forced to bring my reactor to combat mode and defend myself. While the gunners on the destroyer were rather enthusiastic, they were hardly much help, and I was forced to do much of the work myself. After a difficult skirmish, I managed to cripple his fighter, but not before he landed a few good hits to my fighter's nose, resulting in a partial loss of data. While most of the scan data remained intact, the earlier recordings of the pursuit across New York were corrupted. From there, I moved to a more secure location within the debris field and transferred the undamaged scan data into hard storage. Uploading now. Vessel Scan: Drakon Vessel Scan: LSF-Gajche Vessel Scan: -koske- Vessel Scan: Sarge126 Vessel Scan: [KoF]-Velvet.Revo Vessel Scan: Shaft_Tackapple The final sortie was not an intelligence run, but a full scale battle. A group of our fighters engaged a patrol of Liberty Navy fighters in Magellan, with the Iblis holding nearby to keep any of the Navy fighters from entering Vespucci. I was in New York still at the time, and from the secure comms, I heard that a Bretonian Battleship, the HMS-Pendragon had moved up from Leeds to engage the Iblis, with the Ven'Gyr coming out of Vespucci to deal with it. The system channels in New York were screaming with Navy, LPI, and LSF comm transmissions, and I noted a conflict of opinions between select Navy vessels and a Liberty Security Forces task group of the name AEGIS. The Navy ships wanted to move heavy battleships and cruisers down to Magellan to strike at our forces, while the LSF vessels were of the opinion that such a redeployment would leave Texas vulnerable to a push by Rheinland. I made my way into Texas through the jumphole in the Badlands, and then into California, dodging an LSF Bomber and one of the AEGIS cruisers on the way. By the time I had reached the gate into Magellan, the skirmish had moved into California, with around six Legion fighters and the Iblis facing off at the gate against a far larger force of LIberty Navy fighters and gunboats, as well as a few bounty hunters. Though we were outnumbered by far, I dove in to assist the best I could in my fighter. Sometime during the battle, a second Bretonian Battleship showed up to blockade the Magellan gate, first in California itself, then moving back to Magellan. While the Liberty Navy continued to recieve occasional reinforcements, our numbers dwindled slowly, until my fighter took a heavy hit and lost power. When my ship came back online, the battle was over, and I was adrift within the nearby ice cloud. I attempted to access my data recorder, but it had been damaged in the fight, and I couldn't recover much from its banks besides a single fighter scan of a Liberty Security Forces Guardian flown by a Gabriel Frost and a few still images. Uploading the scan data now. Vessel Scan: Gabriel Frost Hellfire Legion Message Dump (AO) - Guest - 02-28-2010 **Incoming Transmission**
Encryption: Zeta-1 CommID: Major Kraven ![]() Source:America Base Subject:Report-01A This is Kraven reporting in. First off, the report for my last operation will be sent to the High Command directly, this channel isn't the most secure. Tonights operation did not go as planned. After an initial scout for enemy positions I rendezvoused with PFC Adam Daniels. The battlegroup did not however arrive on time, or at all for that matter. It appears they were ambushed as enroute. There were a few casualties but the enemy did manage to disable the main support craft, ending the operation prematurely. Since the operation was a nonstarter, I sprouted propaganda. The public was.... receptive. No hostile respones, but not exactly a friendly respone either. Anyway, Kraven out. **Transmission Ends**

Not much to report again. I ran some battleground runs against rookie bounty hunters with the new recruit, Royce Lambert. Not to shabby, we'll see how he handles against aces though. On a similar note; I ran some indepth background checks on that Royce Lambert. Anyway, it seems he used to be a mercenary before he joined the Navy. Standard merc work really, escort this, attack this. Father was a LPI detective. Mother was a housewife. Seems his father was a quietly voiced sympathizer of the Xeno movement. As was Lambert. I think I'll be keeping an eye on him. Anyway, I've passed the paper work through for his equipment. He should be up and running within the hour. Kraven out. Once in space I entered a group channel with a Neo-Terran patrol group, to exchange logistical information and any other support that was need Began my patrol in Vespucci, headed to the Magellan Jumphole, I encountered no enemies along the way. Magellan was clear of any contacts as well. Half way to Texas, I received a request for assistance from the Neo-Terran's. They encountered a Dreadnought within Kansas, no idea how they let a thing that size slip through into Kansas, but that's not my problem. I diverted towards Kansas, I contacted the Legion for support, but it appears a Ion Storm distrupted the signal. Luckily, they managed to scare it off before I got there. When I arrived in Kansas, the Neo Terran's leader asked for my assistance patrolling the Humboldt. Which I happily obliged. Humboldt was all clear (seeing a pattern with my patrol?) so I returned to Mactan. Nothing special happened. I'm attaching a partial audio recording, seems the recorder cut out at random intervals. I'll have the equipment checked once I get back to America Base. Kraven out. Attached File - 1 [font=System]Source:[color=#000099]Mactan Base
