Operation Serpent's Eye

Guten abend the Order Overwatch,

Due to the rather bold infiltration orchestrated by the Nomads, precisely, their Vagrant loyalists, penetrating deep into the heart of Gallia and its adjacent margins, thorough investigations that had been led by the Order Overwatch have compelled us to commence mandatory covert operations. With the indomitable backing of the Wedjat Division, our undertaking was of mankind's importance—to undertake direct reconnaissance in precarious zones, accurately scrutinizing subjects who have somewhat managed to evade the intelligence radar, in particular, the Nomads and their miserable adherents. Furthermore, our operation aims to further probe the "growing" infested subjects of prominently Gallic heritage, known as the squadron of "La Division Vipere," a vague gang comprised of aforementioned individuals infected with mystery.

A segment of the Black Squadron was unleashed, with a relentless pursuit of upholding stability deep within Gallia's core star cluser, where the squadron is tasked to inspect into the covert activities. The OCV Aleppo, vainly leading the Task Force "Crimson Serpent," the 4th Atum's Battlegroup, serves as a fortified stronghold for the central command, seamlessly connected with Wedjat's interconnected reconnaissance operations. Armed with cutting-edge indigenous technology, this terrific Order-made weapon unleashes damnation upon any menace daring to trespass upon the human colonies. Under my candid authority, The Aleppo has been entrusted with a vital mission—to rendezvous with the squadron in the depths of Gallia and secure the acquired packaged. This specific material is an additional key to research success for our explorations at the Damascus Research Station, accompanied by Alexandria's Black site. Our presence remained in absolute secrecy, rendering us invisible and evading detection. Available time period was low, and our stay remained momentary, rendering it virtually impossible to be intercepted. Upon the successful acquisition of the package, I promptly issued my agents with explicit instructions, choreographing the operation's every move.

After the conclusion of the instructional dialogue and the successful reclamation of the secured package, the cargo was promptly jumped towards the Damascus Research Station. Afterwards, I promptly maneuvered the Aleppo into a secure stationary stronghold within the Independent Worlds, a move made with acute cognizance of the underlying motives. Attached herewith is an extensive mission report, delivered by my agent, whose presence proved vital throughout the mission, explaining the choreographed arrangement of the rendezvous site with the rest of the Black Squadron.

Leadership: Colonel Rogue, Major Aaron Kellner (Black One)

Under the explicit commands of OCV Aleppo, I fearlessly started a daring expedition, transcending the depths of the Tau sector to reach the designated rendezvous point within Gallia. The purpose of this endeavor was to acquaint myself with the valiant rest of our squadron, alongside further operatives known as Foxtrot 9 and Ensign Eddy Narson. The nature of our meeting location necessitated secrecy, compelling us to leverage the privileges conferred upon us by our partnership with the Union, thereby expediting our transfer to the southern areas of Gallia. Prior to our departure, I had conducted an analysis of civilian traffic patterns, discerning scarce disruptions in the region. This allowed us to execute our operation with remarkable discretion, actively identifying any potential lurking dangers along our path and this way neutralizing them with striking, and unexpected resourcefulness.

During our pursuit of vigilance across several sectors tense with danger, I seized the opportune moment to acquaint our agents with the bold exploits of our past campaigns within the heart of Gallia, and its borders. Fortunate were we to glean costly insights from our Gallic brethren, our Gallic Agents, unmasking the so-called "La Division Vipere" and engaging in confrontations with the Nomadic plague and their wretched infested allies. Such evidence served as the foundation upon which our mission was firmly grounded, propelling us towards the Tau sector, bearing the code number Sixty One. TAU61, where we repeatedly crossed paths with those infested vessels, Nomad-corrupted remnants of Gallic individuals, having their hands on destroyers. We carefully searched every corner of this corrupt sector, skillfully harnessing the very essence of nature's wonders, a camouflage trapping any unwelcome gaze.

The spooky depths of the TAU61 sector harbored an eerie undercurrent that defied comprehension, casting a breeze of mystery over the encrypted codes we stumbled upon, their true essence eluding us. However, the peace was shattered by a thunderous eruption of laughter echoing through the corridors of our COMMs by the Nomads—precisely, the Vagrants themselves. Fueled by intelligence, we remained acutely aware of their inherent vulnerabilities, as they hid concealed beneath a calculated facade of emotional manipulation. Their nature which we read like a book. Once isolated behind the gates of hypergate, ravaged to the very core of their existence, these beings relentlessly sought to untangle the tricky threads of our human nature, wielding the acquired knowledge as a weapon to unleash an even more merciless control over colonies. Their displays of emotion and empathy were nothing but a mockery, a desperate play to gain our trust, only to betray it through a disastrous occupation in the end.

Their machinations failed to deceive our eyes, and with swiftness, we sharpened in on the Vagrant warform, cruiser cruiser, lurking the edges of the Norwick Ice Cloud. Without a moment's hesitation, we commenced on a quick investigation, as it was within that nebulae that our subject had emerged from, hinting at some sort of concealed presence of something of our immense interest in that very nebulae. I firmly refused to issue an assault command, recognizing that the warform had already slipped through our grasp, outmaneuvering us in its escape, being fairly far-away.

Based on our observations, we made our return within the core of Gallia, armed with newfound intelligence that shall undeniably prove useful in shaping our future assignments. Major Kellner signing off.

Our asset, OCV Aleppo shall relentlessly resume its investigations that align with our Modus Operandi. Soon, the Gallic Union shall stand as the very witness to our stories, and I eagerly anticipate their response—wishing to witness the sheer might they are capable to cast against these miserable alien collaborators. The sooner, the better.

Reconnaissance Report

Guten Abend, my most honorable Agents,

Having set off from the Sigma Star Cluster, I undertook a series of covert reconnaissance missions with the explicit goal of procuring valuable intelligence urgent to our mission objectives. Along a carefully plotted trajectory through the ORHO, I observed nothing of significance that warrants inclusion in this report, for reasons I shall elucidate. The SIGMA15, tasked with the REC mission, proved highly effective due to the nimble maneuvers of the BASTET Class Fighter. During the systematic survey of multiple locations within the ORHO and S15 sectors, I gathered fragments of intelligence that I shall substantiate in forthcoming briefings. A swift and deliberate interaction with middle-ranking RM officers in close proximity to the S15 FP revealed their deployment of warships within the restricted NFZ. By design or happenstance, I partially exposed myself to the subject's radar for reasons that will later prove truly intriguing.

RM SUBJECT RAEREN has been identified as a GB Class Vessel in the vicinity of MFN transport, based on the reconnaissance data collected by my radar systems. It is presumed that the SUBJECT had previously served as an escort for a logistical vessel tagged as MFN. Upon detecting my presence, SUBJECT promptly contacted MFN, intending to prolong the escort mission due to my alleged unwanted presence. I had wished for some form of interaction, but the openness of the surrounding area prevented any meaningful engagement. After maneuvering deeper into Rheinland by entering FRANKFURT, I conducted a thorough assessment of potential hostile forces and the potential presence of our covert allies. Thereafter, deliberately revealing my position to the SURVEILLANCE radar, I was detected, arousing the curiosity of a small group of officers who had previously been instructed to maintain a covert mode of calm approach. Sensing a distinct rise in neutrality, I proceeded towards the E2 region in closer proximity to the S13 wormhole, as a precautionary measure against any unforeseen risks.

Leveraging the concealment provided by the asteroid belt, I adeptly maintained a risk-free distance from several officers (including a battlecruiser) who sought to address their uncertainties through dialogue, to by fortune. It seemed that I had successfully enticed RM towards the designated waypoint, granting me an opportune escape route amidst unfavorable conditions. As we gathered in an untroubled setting, I found myself refreshed by the generous ideals shared with humanity, which, for inexplicable reasons, had become a source of adversity. Somewhat taken aback by my honorable conduct, in stark contrast to the propagandistic narratives they had been fed, SUBJECTS struggled to find answers to lingering questions concerning the alleged entanglement of the Order in acts of terrorism. However, such predictable and baseless propaganda is flexible in the absence of substantial evidence, rendering it too feeble to warrant a perceptive response. Through logical, and substantive discourse, I dissipated their doubts and even secondhand encouraged the officers to forward requests to higher-ranking officials who shape the very fabric of Rheinland Militär. Accordingly, I consciously affirmed that our nation, our struggle, and our unity are not only just, but also exemplify an unique sense of honor.

I instilled within their consciousness the true essence of our existence, disclosing the ideals for which we tirelessly fight—a noble cause indispensable for the betterment of humanity. Psychologically, they exhibited a newfound understanding, seemingly awakened by the fires of the civil war that ignited a flicker of awareness within them. The rise of the new government, spurred by the partly successful Bundschuh revolution, has potentially guided in meaningful transformations. Nevertheless, it goes without saying that tangible diplomacy remains a must for proper developments, an eventuality that may soon unfold. Remarkably, despite commencing a mission that appeared diametrically opposed, I realized that my reasonable focus on instinct was bright, laying a powerful groundwork for what I have diligently prepared over time. Humanity craves change, longing to embrace one another as brothers and sisters, transcending the mask of unfamiliarity that has covered our teamwork for far too long. Agent Rogue, out.

Lt Agent.A reporting the apparent fate of Delta-3, upon entry to Iota along with Ensign Narson we encountered light resistance and were able keep a low profile to sector G3. After the jump through the unstable jump hole we encountered heavy resistance from a seemingly endless stream of heavy nomad war forms along with their lessers. We then split off to cover more ground, the Ensign then found the remains of Delta 3 beside a massively locked gate in sector C3 that I assume leads deeper into the structure. After scanning for any left over on board system data we flew on out and returned to Akabat. End of Report

Shadows of the past Mission report
Seeing as I have not been making much of an impact here in the first fleet I wanted to do something to make a difference. So I spoke with my mentor Lt. Auren Stalgrennicron and he agreed to join me on this little mission. We both set off from Mu and took the jumphole to Omicron Zata, from there we entered the Alien gate taking us to Omicron Lola, while I had been in this system before while serving in the second fleet it was something completely different to be in a small fighter. After maneuvering our way through the system we made it to the Jumphole in which intel said the signal had came from. After entering we found ourselves above a MASSIVE Nomad structure, I have never felt so small in my life. Both Auren and I both descended towards the Nomad Structure. My systems could not pick up Delta-3's singal while in this system so be both split up and began searching for our missing ship.

I must say my heart was racing as I dodged and weaved my way through so many Nomad Capital ships and supporting fighters. We were both searching for what felt like hours, but looking at my ships time stamp it took about six minuets before I got a lock on Delta-3's signal. The ship's signal brought me to a massive gate that was locked. It would seem that Delta-3 three went down just above the massive gate in C3. I set my scanners to start scanning the ship while Lt. Auren raced to join me. From what I gather from looking at the bomber, Delta-3 went down just before whatever Order force entered the gate. The radiation might have damaged Delta-3's engines or some other system. Yet I can only guess at that moment as nomads where still around me. Yet, for whatever reason the Nomads seemed hesitant to approach the gate the capital ships outright back off leaving my sensor range soon after. After a few minutes, my ship finished scanning the ship and Auren and both kick on our engines and got out of there as quick as we could. Flying sight up were managed to avoid being hit by the Nomads following us. Not long after head made for the system exit which spat us out at Omicron lost.

However the Nomads where not done with us yet, as two wings of fighter forms were waiting just outside the jump hole. I being more worried about getting this data back. My mentor wanted to fight but I was already kicking on my cruise engines by the time he began firing at the Nomad war forms. Soon after I pulled off Lt. Auren followed after me. From their we made our way to Delta then to Zata and finally returning to Mu and docking at Damascus Research Station where the data from my scan of Delta-3 being pulled form my ship's computers.

Arcane Studies Mission report
I decided to undertake a standard mission from the Science division today. As it turns out they want some scans of the alien structures left behind. I remember seeing them on our way back to Order space after our wing of fighters was turning after the battle in Omicron Xi a few weeks ago. I’m glad the wing leader showed us the way, as that place did not look like somewhere one would get lost in.

After approaching the set of structures, I began scanning a weapons platform and two generators, before moving onto the main segment. While I was waiting for the scan to finish, a Corsair freighter happened upon me. We greeted each other before we both went about our own business. Returning the power generator, I did note that there seemed to be a lot of them surrounding the main segment. I can only imagine the amount of power these things were giving off when they were active. Makes me wonder what brough them down. The weapons platforms were also an interesting sight, the main weapon systems seemed to be intact just from looking at them. Maybe the Order could get a fleet out here and see if they can’t salvage some of these weapon systems. Imagine some of our Battleships fielding a version of these cannons. God some of them are longer than my ship.

Once that was taken care of, I moved over to the main segment and began scanning the thing. Truth be told it did look like a bunch of rocks with some metal sticking out of it. My sensors quickly I detected a bunch of Alien artifacts. I began picking some choice ones up as the egg heads back home might want to look at them. Once my hold was full, I went back to letting my scanner finish its scan of the main segment. Honestly, I have no idea what the heck this was used for. If anything, it could have been a shipyard, a command post, heck it could have been a spall resort for all I know… hopefully these scans can shed some light on it.

After the scan was done, I turned back and headed for Omicron Mu. Nothing of interest to report as the ride back was quiet. After docking with Damascus, I unload my hold and let the techs get the scans off my computer. Hopefully they can make some use of it.

Graveyard Duty Mission report
Today I took a portal mission today. Soon after I arrived in Omicron Minor I drew up a patrol rout passing by the two jump holes to Omicron Zeta and Nu, before ending with the Junker base of Tarancon. I planned to completed them with my impulses engines, to make me a move inviting target for hiding Nomads while also allowing me to more time to look around.

The only thing of note I came across was a Zoner pilot. I questioned the pilot as to his reason for coming to Minor and he claimed that he was passing through. To his credit, my long ranger sensors confirmed him entering the jumphole to Zeta soon after I made contact with him. I returned to my mission once soon after. After I completed my second sweep, I returned to Battleship Thebes. I can only guess that the nomads simply were not in the area at the time. Maybe another Agent will have better luck.

Operation Anubis's Gatekeepers

Inquisitor "Machiavelli" reporting in. I hereby report the congregation of several intriguing elements of recent RCN operations. These activities showcased synchronization with seemingly unrelated events at first glance. Under the codename [CLASSIFIED], an undercover investigation had been initiated, concentrating on extraordinary occurrences, Codename Bandit. The overarching RCN undertaking commenced at the borders of the IW star cluster, all-embracing proximate frontier regions of multiple Houses. Inquisitor "Machiavelli" assumed leadership of the upper class Shadow Operations unit, operating under the support of Section One. Their foremost mission involving intercepting a significant portion of the electromagnetic spectrum, with a keen emphasis on infrared radiation and COMM waves. These classified shadow ops necessitate acquisition of encrypted intelligence from targeted subjects through an undisclosed cache of specialized data.

Inquisitor departs temporary headquarters of Shadow Ops, 4th Battlegroup, investigating deeper into House space. Long-range RCN scrutiny of the general Liberty Republic sector reveals significant readings in close proximity to Foxtrot 3/4 sector, PA system. Adapted scanners detect a marked increase in the influence of neutral population, particularly Zoners aligned with the Outworlders' "strike force." They directly engage in a face-to-face confrontation with Liberty assets, mainly 1st Division (Subjected to illegal terrorist activity against the innocent) of the secondary fleet of the Liberty Navy. The situation had spiraled out of control. Following the conclusion of the circus, unidentified Liberty warships of the "LABC" class without warning appear. Readings did not indicate direct Nomad contamination. Suspicion escalates after a sudden, merciless assault on all assets in the vicinity of Foxtrot 3/4 sector. "LABC" class vessels are destroyed, while the Zoners receive support from LN assets, the Fifth Fleet. In-depth analysis suggests Nomad contamination as the cause behind the ruthless actions of the unidentified "LABC" class vessels. Thereby, heightened activity within Section One had been approved.

Upon the revelation of additional suspect activities within House space, Section One has initiated heightened operations. The trajectory has been redirected towards the depths of the IW star cluster, engaging in thorough scrutiny of potential hotspots, and notorious avenues susceptible to Nomad infiltration. Wedjat has reinforced our efforts by merging vital intelligence with strategic guidance. Agent "Machiavelli," having seen the intelligence operatives off, has been deployed to the INVER sector. A potential contamination source has been duly confirmed. In the vicinity of Delta 6 region, an intercepted electromagnetic wave of decrypted frequency has exposed the presence of covert Nomad sympathizers operating under the covert designation "BG AUX." The subjects have willingly disclosed intel concerning contamination, unveiling critical details. Subject "Vadin.Brent," a well-equipped "Bustard" Class carrier flying the Freelancer IFF, has established communication with the sympathizers. Disturbing intel has come to light, centering around the alleged disappearance of a whole crew contingent aboard the carrier, which vanished under mysterious circumstances amidst a neighboring Nebulae. The cause of this unforeseen and unknown event remains uncertain. The "AUX" subjects have brought forth a potential catalyst, attributing it to the presence of the notorious "Entity" warform. Subsequent to the warform's vanishing act, the carrier faced severe crew losses and sought sanctuary among the sympathizers, establishing an agreement in space.

Continued covert reconnaissance reveals a "covern" operation allegedly focused on Nomad warforms. Sympathizers have been relocated to Nebulae "WeAvNe," a sector within the western region of the INVER system. Subjects purportedly identify traces of smaller Nomad-influenced warforms. Soon, they relocated to Delta 6. Amidst boring exchanges, the sudden appearance of a Bretonian GB Class vessel, codenamed "HMS-Firedrake-[Fae," disrupts the scene. Unidentified IFF signals emanate from the vessel as it approaches the sympathizers. RCN scanners confirm maximum Nomad contamination. The vessel was outfitted with Hybrid Technology and armed with Bretonian weaponry. The sympathizers verified contamination and actively engaged in dialogue regardless. Collectively, all subjects establish friendly compacts and reveal sensitive intelligence. Subject "Caliban," identified as a renegade Freelancer of volatile disposition, proves itself as a neglectable threat to Order operations. The aggressor is implicated in prohibited research into Nomad matter, with dire implications for humanity. The renegade subject is reportedly hunted by the Wild-infested "HMS" GB Class vessel, along with its Nomad allies. Furthermore, the sympathizers disclose the mysterious disappearance of "AUX" terrorist operatives, one of whom bears the codename "Revenant," previously destroyed during the OLOST incident due to Nomad influence. Ongoing investigations have been momentarily halted amidst escalating emergencies in adjacent sectors.

Section One has identified presence of undesirable entities and infiltrated hostile territory. Infested vessels have been further exposed, confirming the existence of alien contamination within the aforementioned subjects. Inquisitor "Machiavelli" will continue conducting investigations in line with the mandate of Section One, alongside the Wedjat Division. For the fallen warriors, we press on.

The start of it all Mission report
This mission begins me to where it all started with the Nomad threat as it would seem, Freeport 7. As I was in Omicron Minor at the time, I flew through Omicron Rho to get to the Sigma sectors. It was from there that I made my way to Omicron-17. Once in the system I began looking for the freeport, as stated in the mission description the exact location of Freeport 7 was not on my nav map. After flying around and having little luck finding it, I consorted the archives as to its location.

After arriving I took in the sight of the destroyed Freeport. So many lives lost in but a moment, not to unlike the events that set me down this path. I wonder if the Nomad ships that attacked the freeport are still out there. I wonder if all those lives lost still cry out for vengeance against their alien murderers. I can almost hear their cries.

What I wouldn’t give to satisfy them…

Encounter: RV-Pennybrooke

Vigil-7, reporting.

Upon departing Freeport 11 for a routine patrol of the Omicron Delta system, I encountered the vessels SLRC-HV>Gryphon (Zoner Nephilim-class colonly ship) and RV-Pennybrooke (Ahoudori-class gunboat, known Nomad sympathizer/infectee).

Mister Brad Wright, presumably the Gryphon's captain, and Katherine Pennybrooke were engaged in conversation with each other. I immediately informed Mister Wright of Pennybrooke's status. Pennybrooke confessed to being a Nomad "confidante." I asked Mister Wright to cease all further communications with Pennybrooke immediately. This and all subsequent requests of the same nature were disregarded. Mister Wright and Pennybrooke then openly discussed the latter's relationship with the Nomads as well as her contributions towards their operations against humanity. Further, they conversed about hyperspace, Nomad, and Daam K'Vosh technology, which included Pennybrooke admitting to possessing a beacon for the Nomads to follow.

The interaction was interrupted by the arrival of the mercenary Caliban (Thor Mk. I bomber) and the Corsair Adrian Seth (Evocatus bomber). With their assistance, the RV-Pennybrooke was engaged and disabled.

Scans revealed that the Gryphon was carrying various Nomad materials. I did not request these to be relinquished as the situation concerning Pennybrooke took priority. By the time the RV-Pennybrooke was disabled, the Gryphon had left.

Mister Wright's apparent disregard for Pennybrooke's nature as a Nomad sympathizer and his curiosity regarding them is worrying. This and previous brief encounters with members Starlight Research Consortium have revealed a less than friendly attitude towards the Order permeating the organization. Possible Nomad influence has, however, not been observed.
Recommendation: place SLRC under observation.

Caliban and Pennybrooke appear to know each other and have a hostile relationship. Adrian Seth claims to be a former member of the Order.

Scans of the Gryphon and RV-Pennybrooke as well as communication logs are attached to this report.

Further:

Due to Section 8's contentious relationship with the individual Caliban, I request that the contents of a private conversation between Overwatch operative Hellreaver and Caliban, which the latter specifically did not want me to hear, be divulged.

End of report.

Greetings, dear Overwatch, Darkface reports.

Many things happened today, but I've highlighted the main one. The broken nomadic gate still works to this day. Object Caliban, along with an officer from the 46th Fleet, took advantage of the gate. Surprisingly, you should know about it. I've been watching them the whole time. We need to keep a closer eye on the members of the 46th Fleet... And beyond the gate, too.

All evidence has been provided. Leaving the channel of communication.
