Sry, I can not follow that logic. We can SELL it to others and others can try to mine it but the bonus should only be for junkers as per RP. Yes, we get it, they have good stuff that you don't have so you want it. From the sound of it, ALG has a history of waste disposal, but that's not the issue here. The issue, beyond why everyone doesn't have something like premium scrap used to be, is the pricing of premium scrap. And people complaining managed to reduce it below average for trade routes. So you can be happy that nobody gets to use the thing you wanted now. People would play more not less if the game went faster, and it goes faster when people make more money. So the existing trade routes should be buffed bigtime to let everyone get what they want. Are people gonna listen, debate, or just ignore? RE: Premium scrap pricing. - Sturm347 - 08-26-2014 Just putting my 2 cents worth here. I new here so forgive me for any false assumptions I may have. Now on to the discussion. I assume that the nerf came because a lot of people were complaining of the pscrap trading to alpha? If so then why nerf the other sellpoints? Selling pscrap is already hard itself to other sellpoints aside from alpha and gamma. You have: Yokohama shipyard - Junkers cant sell there since they're banned in kusari space Singapore shipyard - technically its impossible there since its an IMG Guard base Sabah Shipyard - its in colonial space and who is friendly with the colonials? IMG Aland shipyard - its was already at 3k prenerf, I don't know how much is it right now. What I mean is if the issue or the complaint is only against selling in alpha or omega, why just not nerf those 2 sell points? Premium Scrap prices, before this most recent change, were intended to be buffed at that price for no more than 2-3 weeks to stir up activity, and then lowered down a bit to something higher than the original price but lower than the buffed price. In short, a commodity buff event. Gold Ore prices should have now been buffed in certain locations. Premscrap prices will probably not be buffed until the the ore mining overhaul is complete. DELETE - SnakThree - 08-26-2014 DELETE RE: Premium scrap pricing. - MÃmir - 08-26-2014 Also aren't we just adhering to contemporary ideologies when we assume that corporations are better at everything? Has that really ever been proven? Isn't it just an imaginary/tentative conclusion spurred by our own lack of imagination, by being products of contemporary society? I think more things in Disco should be open to divergent "truths", rather than (in Disco terms) 1,000 year old ideas. It has been proven that vikings were able to make better, more water repellent and warmer clothing using wool, than the best contemporary synthetic materials available today. There's a lot of examples like that, and it's worth to take into account when making these calls. No reason why Junkers shouldn't be better (or worse!) than ALG in terms of scrapping stuff. RE: Premium scrap pricing. - VinitS - 08-26-2014 The word starting with F came in to my mind when a saw 6k @ Singapore......... RE: Premium scrap pricing. - Hermes - 08-26-2014 its sad that the prices go down now .... a faction without big cap ships & cannot defend itself easily and almost the only advantage it have is the premium scrap metal good prices & good relation to outcasts ..... is just gonna die this way why? because the only good advantage they had , you just reduced. regards, Xenon RE: Premium scrap pricing. - TLI-Inferno - 08-26-2014 (08-26-2014, 11:55 AM)Xenon Wrote: its sad that the prices go down now .... a faction without big cap ships & cannot defend itself easily and almost the only advantage it have is the premium scrap metal good prices & good relation to outcasts ..... is just gonna die this way Scrap prices used to be beyond hideous. Believe it or not, that was during our best days. I think we'll pull through this just fine. |
