Dungeons were made for people to obtain gear by groupping up and dealing with hard enemies. I'll still say that this was one of the better events around, and it should happen again, definitely, but, I'd say, remove the PvP out of it.

Look at it from a roleplay perspective. A jumphole appears that takes you into a previously uncharted system. You don't recognize anything, no data is available on it. After searching through it, you're met by unknown contacts. As we all know, red is dead, so they start shooting at you. Now, another group of people appears from the same jumphole. It's again, people you've had contact with (bad/neutral/friendly ; doesnt matter). Unknowns start shooting at them, so it's only common for them to ally with you in order to kill the ones shooting at you. You kill them, get the loot, and leave.

What I'm saying is, Player versus Player in this kind of event should not be allowed. They should be PvE focused events that allow everyone to get stuff, money, data, commodities unavailable elsewhere, and take their leave. Roleplay should be encouraged inside aswell, but you are fighting a previously unknown enemy, so a saying comes to mind: "The enemy of my enemy is my friend".

Just my two cents.

The UN| did try to RP with the LN and RM indies but basically got told to go away and do one or die, we were infact leaving to regroup with a ally in to be CD spammed and rekt by stupid childish behavior

At the very least, please do not remove the content that your efforts have given.

Your stuff (and promise of more) was the main thing that made me motivated to play once again. I'm an absolute sucker for vanity, and while I've never gotten anything rare besides the nomad trail Eagle, I'm still very intent on doing stuff to get the cosmetic stuff for ships/weapons.

It's a thing that works.

Tanni has a point though that certain design elements can favour actions of this sort. Still it'd be appreciated if everyone could give feedback in a way you should.

Crying that everything is bad and yelling that this is all "cancer" is not helping at all. It is quite demotivating for everyone involved. And since the people who enjoyed this are probably not vocal enough or not willing to face this veteran screaming it will come off as an absolute failure. These events are time consuming not only for the attendees but also for the organiser. You need to have people being there to fix problems, you need to reset stuff that means you gotta be there in the morning (EU after all) and there to add npcs throughout the day.

Still all I see here is mostly loud outcries with no appreciation even for the effort or the motivation behind it. Even if everything was so terrible as people make it out to be Spazzy and whoever else was involved in the creation of this deserve this amount of gratitude and, even if some people don't think so, respect.

So, wait. Now the person that made the event is guilty of it?

Welcome to Discovery Memelancer.

I agree with you here Ramke, but i'll be honest the only time I got scientific data was the one time I sold it because I had no use for it, didn't know what it done and made 1 billion from it to Kalhmera. Since then it is literally "I need this to make nemp bombs because reasons" and then stupid nemp bombs happen with poor RP or RP that don't even make sense.

Yeah. Not only that, but it is a working money sink. I spent more than ten billions on stuff related to scientific data.

RE: [Weekend Event]: Uncharted System - Independent Worlds - Arbs - 05-28-2017

How did something that was supposed to be fun end up with drama?

Sci data was always meant to be collected in these kind of events. Don't see the problem here.

Besides, no one is forcing you to play into that system. You don't like it? Go someplace else, you're not oblidged to go there. And in the end it's just for two and a half days.

So no, for as long as the majority of people are having fun, you don't have to remove anything or take whatever leave you're thinking of.

Holy cat? Do you have your 5k yet? XD I doubt I ever had more than 6 bill )))

Speaking about the event itself, I liked it. Some opportunity to get stuff, which will later help you to get unique stuff is appreciated. Big kudos for will to actually make it. Thank you.

Although, as I've already mentioned on skype, those events shouldnt involve that many factions. I'd also love to see the system to be filled with some stuff, not only sun and nothing at all. What's more, I'd like to have all types of loot being lootable from enemies of various dangers, there should be snub-only npcs too, not to make it log-a-cap-or-die running for stuff.

I'm all for having those events around, but the way they appear should be changed a bit in my humbe opinion. Once again, thank you for making it. And thank you everyone for actually coming there and playing. (h5)

Not the event where you go to a system that is trying to bend you over and screw the life out of you. That's not relaxing at all. But to each their own I guess.
