Both Kusari, Enclave, and everyone else can always choose to do a multitude of different things using a multitude of different justifications.
Kusari could have chosen to promise to re-instate the King as just ruler in exchange for the Enclave's support, and sell their invasion of Gallia as a liberation of Gallia from an illegitimate government.
They could theoretically have done that, if it had helped balance out numbers in pvp. They didnt "have to" do anything of what they did.
Just saying.
Kusari officially invading Gallia to deal with covert royalists within duchy and avenge victims of Leeds

Sure, disregard the part where I said they could have chosen a different "official justification" for what they're doing. And the part where Kusari was trading with the genocidal king during the entirety of the bret vs gaul war. What ever float your boat mate, just trying to help.

That was up to Kusari as they initiated the war. Enclave was there to react, and as grosh said there was not much choice and enclave had to react in the way it did. In theory in different disposition sure it could be different, but that's just like alternative history, not making sense to actually discuss

Feels great being in top 3 traders of the event.
First time ever I flew Serenity and it is a beauty.
The only downside is that I had only 2 encounters with hostiles:
First was a Kusari guy blowing me up, and second, was a Gaian fining me 5 mill.
Other than that it was just me seeing familiar trader faces in the space.
Sorry to hear that the fight didn't go so well, I planned to join but RL obligations prevented me.
