RE: Technology Compatibility Update - Lemon - 11-03-2023 neat - what is the lore explanation pls for navy having order tech they are still viewed as hostile they developed "their own" independently on order due to the liberty origin of the tech? Should Order tech in Navy hands still be considered illegal and need gov permissions? Liberty laws Wrote:4. Restricted technology Given that the Order holds no official recognition by any House, their organization is not considered a foreign agency, rather a terrorist one. Liberty lawfuls can use whatever they want from any faction without permission, other than foreign House navies tech. Or will we be able to see e.g. LPI trying to fine and shoot Navy for flying tech of a "hostile faction - Order" as laws say? You will be totally harmless against anyone, though, so why should anyone care? Please present evidence for your reason, and if you can, then I think it only fair that you remove Corsair rights to all Hogosha ships, including the Raba too (reduction to a useless 10%), just as you have done with Hogosha access to Corsair ships. The Hogosha will otherwise be affronted by this insult from their Allies. What you are doing is to demean the relationship between the Hogosha and Corsairs, something I'm sure neither faction wants, unless you can provide evidence of of how you decided to make a judgement in this matter please? Please post all evidence of your consultations here for the sake of transparency in this matter, Your initial answer "The Corsairs are incredibly stingy with their ships, combat ships especially" seems somewhat glib. Thanks in advance for a robust and reasoned response from you. Nah, corps can and WILL get bullied by LPI, Navy and LSF for using their toys, only law enforcement got the green light. Still, it's nice that they can use it without any imposed limitation, players can solve the whoopsies ingame. If anything, Hogosha technically comes out ahead in the current circumstances, being able to use the Armicustos, the Essedarius and the Correo, while Corsairs only get the Raba. Granted, that is a dubious advantage given the state of any transport that's not a frigate, but it is something. |
