The water was tempting but not as much as she was. He turned to her and placed his hands at her waist. He leaned back a bit to look upon her as he gently smiled.
"I didn't give you a proper good morning yet," he said kindly as he lowered himself and gave her another kiss.

After a nice kiss, he separated from her to get a bar of soap. He went into the house and returned in a pair of shorts, two towels, soap and a bottle of shampoo. He hung the towels over the back of a dock chair. After he stole a quick kiss, he smiled, "Cya in the water" and made a fast run for the water and dove in. After swimming a short ways underwater, he came up on his back with only his head above the water and an evil grin!

She rested her arms over his shoulders, linking her hands behind him "I was wondering when you would." she said playfully in between kisses. She watched him as he walked back to the house before and looking back across the water.

Once he returned and dove in the water she walked out onto the dock, standing on the end, looking at him with her hands on her hips. She pretended to pout. "You know, I really have a feeling if I keep jumping in the water in what I intend on wearing for the day...." not being able to hide her smile anymore, she shook her head and grinned.

So there Doc lay, on his back in the water, lightly paddling his arms to the sides while floating on his back. When she protested and grinned, he just stuck his tongue out at her and finally taunted her.

"So, Dahlin', are you going to um, Go for it?"

She wasn't quite sure what to make of his evil grin but she didn't seem too concerned. Poking her tongue back at him a comment was made that he wasn't quite able to catch before she jumped into the water.

She swam across to where he was floating, refraining from splashing him. Instead she shrugged "I was enjoying the view." She bit her lip before swimming a little bit past him. She didn't go far, not taking her long to float on her back, looking at the sky like she had the previous evening. She had a shy smile and as she spoke, she kept her gaze skyward. "Someone was in the picture that made it even more perfect then I thought possible."

Doc just watched as she floated. He wanted to think he was that person. She looked almost like a water angel as she floated, her loose shirt sort of moving around her with the water.
As she did, Doc walked slowly ashore to get the soap. He scrubbed himself up and washed out his hair as he watched the sun rising. "It's going to be a lovely day," he commented as he looked out and then back at her where he added under his breath, "Yes, indeed it will be."

He then ducked under the water to rinse, swimming towards her.

Despite the time of day the water wasn't cold. She watched him for a moment before she closed her eyes, the reality of it all was finally sinking in. She was here with him, not only accepted for who she was but she felt desired, she felt like she wasn't just getting in the way. She was happy.

She wondered where they would be going with the horses. The thought of using the gun was exciting, she was nervous about it as she didn't know what would be different between that gun and her own - if it was too different, she realized she wouldn't know how to work it. She hadn't noticed him swimming toward her.

He swam up underneath her, grabbing her waist in an effort to startle her. He just started laughing when he did what he set out to do. He then came in far enough to where he could stand on the sandy bottom, standing before her with his hands on her sides as he began to look out over the water.

"I seemed to have disturbed something quite beautiful," he smiled, "you seemed lost in thought but then, that's very easy to do here." He couldn't help himself. What she wore into the water was showing her body. He took notice of it. For him, being able to see someone not as a doctor was becoming a rare thing. He said little and just sighed.

He then pointed in a direction, down the water's edge where it headed into a forested area. "That is where we will head today," he explained, "there are a few open areas out there, places where we can view and hunt some big game and just admire the view of the mountains."

His gaze returned to hers. "For at least a few minutes, I think I just want to enjoy the view I have right now," he said kindly, his eyes staring into hers.

She splashed at the water with a slight squeal as she got a fright when he grabbed her waist. She noticed him laughing and just poked her tongue at him before shaking her head. Once she had relaxed from the initial fright of it, she joked, "Well.... That sure woke me up."

It was quiet, tranquil, he was correct in saying it was easy to become lost in thought. She nodded "I was.... They were good thoughts too, for the most part." She blushed as she saw he had taken notice of her body. She covered her stomach with her arms, it was more instinct then something she thought about doing. Despite having a good figure, she was lacking self confidence.

Looking in the direction he was pointing, she listened as he explained where they would be going for the day, and what the plan was. She had been looking forward to going riding with him, especially as it meant she would get to see another part of the land. At his last comment, she looked back at him with a smile. "I think the view I have right now is much more preferable." She nodded, almost matter-of-factly, before stealing a kiss from him.

He kissed her back. It seemed to become easier each time. "We should think about getting George and Gracie ready," he said as he stood before her, "I know you look forward to that." Taking her in his arm, he escorted her out and handed her a towel. Taking his own, he dried himself off and then ran a brush through his hair.....and then hers. As he did, he explained the riding. "I have some gear you can wear but dress cool up top and wear something somewhat rugged on the legs. I guess jeans will work."

After getting himself dressed, he took a mug of coffee with him to the stable where he visited each horse. George was the more lively of the two, always making a head bob and a grunt or two while he was being attended to. While he awaited Ashlea, he began getting gear ready, blankets, holsters, ropes and such.
Doc was happy and was softly singing as he worked.

She nodded as she started drying herself off. "I have been looking forward to this." She wrapped the towel around her shoulders as he brushed her hair, loving the feeling. She listened as he explained what to wear before heading up the stairs and getting changed into a pair of jeans and light shirt.

Making her way to the stable, she tied her hair into a loose ponytail. Once there, she lent against the door frame and watched Doc - listening to him sing as he worked.
