yea, that will be great for the server. I can totally see the admins supporting such a cause.
We've done plenty of stealth missions into liberty before, in fact I planned and lead an event to retrieve stolen technology from willard research station a while back. You arent bringing anything new to the table, and you probably wouldnt handle it with stealth or discretion as you should.

No, black squadron went insane (or got infected more likely) and started shooting up other order members.
Sad, but not much can be done about it now, unless Bs| is willing to turn themselves over to the order department of nomad removal and be cleansed so they no longer attack their own... Until then all true order will avoid them and of course disregard orders from nomad infected buddy killers.

Well, since this is a rather hot topic, and it involves *MY* faction that I created 3 years ago... Let me give everyone a overview of WHY the name BlackSquadron was used.
1) This was a faction with ties directly to the clan, BlackSquadron. At the time, the RP was going to be a little weird, but nontheless, it's a faction. If you guys want to make some kind of stupid-ass arguement over names, go for it. It just makes you that much more of a troll.
2) BlackSquadron was formed with the intention of being an Order unit on the front lines of the war with Nomads. It was never originally intended to become an all-exclusive faction. Apparently it's gone that way. While I am a member of the Admirality Board on the Clan, I do control what is going on in the faction, to a point. i give Swiss full control and oversight of the faction, while I manage it from the clan's perspective. If Bs| is going to "controL" the order, it will have to be done in a manner that makes logical sense with the existing role play in Discovery (Which btw does NOT include a war with Liberty... Let Igiss make that decision, people.. Order v LIberty is the oldest war in the game and frankly, it's stupid now.)
Now, I wanna make sure people understand something. When I created this faction, I created it for Role Play Purposes only. The name implies a squadron, yes, but Guess what? Squadrons have their own frakkin' chain of command. They can be totally autonomous in their own rights. If Swiss chooses to change the faction name, I do not know if I can keep clan support for that group. It is highly dependent on how the Admirality Board votes on that one.
I've seen a few good posts. And i've seen eve more retarded ones. You guys want to complain about Bs| Controlling Minor, Omicron-100, and The Order? I've seen far worse when I played the game full-time 2 and a half to 3 years ago, and when I ran the server for Igiss. Y'all need to chill out and stop making a big thing out of something that really is nothing to be concerned about. Follow faction guidelines. Names are IRRELEVANT. It's the rules posted that makes all the difference and i do believe all factions must be admin approved. If you want to go and create a "contradictory faction" to Bs| Go ahead and try. The last thing Discovery needs is more drama and inter-faction warfare (which is one of the lesser reasons I left this community) cause that leads to even BIGGER problems.
Please, people.. THINK Your posts through. Think about what you're complaining about, and think about what you're doing to *OTHER* people. Bringing mindless PVP to existing hotzones can seem like a little "fun" but for others it may not be. Re-starting a war that, honestly, has lost it's RP value is just... pathetic to be honest. That's just me, so take it however you want. I won't be checking the forums often but feel free to PM me with anything you like.

This is a bit of a thread hijack, so my apologies in advance.
Now for my question: If the Corsairs and Outcasts can contain multiple player factions, why can't the Order?
Bsl could be a type of, well, squadron with a paticular agenda within the Order. That would leave room for another faction to develop slightly different style of Order rp to the benefit of both factions.
Yes, Bsl own a guard system, but is that a reasonable rationale to say that the Bsl is the same as the whole Order? This kind of attitude may just work to hamstring overall Order activity in the long run. We need more Order pilots on this server, not fewer. Sure, you'll always have to deal with those whose grasp of passable rp is tenuous at best, but that's the nature of the beast. The "ruling with an iron hand" method of leadership usually doesn't work as advertised.
As a core BHG, I would like to see a more Order players online. And I may yet create an Order character. And independent one, mind you. So this matter concerns me as well, albeit indirectly.

The order faction was never intended to be as large as Corsair or even Outcast.
Corsair and outcast are *HUGE* communities by themselves, spanning multiple systems and multiple planets, Think of them as mini-houses.
Order is a "break-away" faction from Liberty and as thus, they're extremely small and more special-forces oriented. It makes no logical sense for them to have multiple in-house factions.

The order was small, but then they established themselves and grew.
If the server will accommodate multiple order factions then the rp can as well. Certainly there's no reason in the spirit of fun gameplay to say that everyone who wants to play an order character has to either join the Bs| or be under the control of the Bs| even though they never joined it and personally and RP wise disagree with the direction the Bs| has gone.

@WolfPack: That is your personal and subjective understanding of the nature of the Order. Yes, the Order is smaller then the OC and Corsairs, and pretty much everyone else. But it isn't necessary to deduce from the Order's lesser numbers and its special operations nature that other player factions couldn't exist.
Anyway, my intention isn't to stoke the fires of forum flammage, so I'll return to the sidelines now.
