RE: Die Reichsarbeitergesellschaft der Alster (UN|) Feedback Thread - Enkidu - 09-22-2018 (09-22-2018, 07:40 AM)Antonio Wrote: If that isn't the pot calling the kettle black, nothing is. Stop being a hypocrite Dunc. I was initially annoyed at the Hellfire Nemp as there wasn't any prior warning of it, so there wasn't a severely reduced opportunity to potentially log in and stop it from occuring with a CD'er or anything like that, and UN had no way of finding out roundabout when it was . However we rolled with it as I realised it was a great roleplay opportunity. The difference here is that UN pretty much pre-warned them that this was happening several times, including giving diplomatic opportunities to prevent it from happening. There was also roleplay around the NEMP weapon construction that was implied before hand, like the purchase of a vast number of nuclear devices from the Junker Congress. The course of the war has always been that the Separatists were going to win quickly, within the first three months, or the Unioners were going to reinforce once a set number of logistics and roleplay projects based around the Pacifica attack were finished, creating a much more brutal, no longer one-sided conflict in the region. They wern't easy projects to expedite or cut-corners on, and showcase a clear buildup of Unioner reinforcements against the Separatists. So the Unioners are now fighting confidently. There's a lot of roleplay basis behind that, and I would have consented to the Separatists actually occupying Pacifica if they had won the earlygame events with the cruiser at the beginning of the war. Also I did try to do the NEMP shot when three SSRT battlecruisers were online and one separatist friendly freelancer. They appeared to log just as I'd assembled three bombers and two VHFs as escorts for the NEMP ship, at which point I had all the people online and supposed that the Lane Hacker would have informed them as it was going on. There's Seperatists in UN discord chat for communication purposes, who were online at the time, and could see it happening with over 24 hours of notice. As Omicron lost recently proved, people will do completely OORP things for Sci data due to the nature of it as a stored commodity. An old AI faction leader recently made a leaving thread because thought the PVE event was the admins encouraging everyone to generally violate their ID alliance rules for a while. That was an erroneous assumption, and I hope he comes back - but Sci Data should not be disco's endgame. I'm genuinely completely disinterested in it, and never encourage my members to farm it unless they so desire. There isn't anything in Sci data that can't be accumulated in an SRP request anyway, and it takes more ingame hours to formulate an SRP request. If you want to use a nuke on an un-nukable station to assert inRp dominance, go for it. It's better than continuous creative comm channel insults and shows that you're willing to invest credits as well as time into the act. I'd like to say that I'm really enjoying the quality of feedback questions here lately. Please, fire up some more. RE: Die Reichsarbeitergesellschaft der Alster (UN|) Feedback Thread - Enkidu - 09-22-2018 After some clear-ups, it appears the Seperatist ID does sell on Conn's gold station, so the unique ID rule does not apply.
We'll be mailing in an NEMP event today, and talking to admins and Harmony to make sure it's fun for everyone. RE: The Unioners - Faction information - The Syndicate Leagues - 01-09-2019 Lore, goals and page formatting updated.
We will be clearing space underneath the primary post for additional lore materials. Reputation will be moved and updated at a later point. You seem to have forgotten to implement proper line breaks. I have a widescreen monitor and these walls of text are just an eye sore - god knows how someone with a smaller resolution is viewing this. If you want other people to read I would suggest splitting these chunks into smaller sections of three-five paragraphs long; depending on the size. This is still just as applicable. Please add some line breaks to most your sections. I'm running a 1920 width monitor and some of these are 10-12 lines long. I feel sorry for anyone running at a 1280, or god forbid less. Your feedback is noted and extremely useful. The problem is that we've hit a content wall - we physically cannot add those line breaks right now as it would add characters to the BB coding. We're going to delete the following replies (or have them all moved to feedback for visibility) and spread everything out over several posts, whilst implementing better formatting. That should help. RE: Die Reichsarbeitergesellschaft der Alster (UN|) Feedback Thread - Antonio - 01-09-2019 Why do you keep saying Corsairs are your allies when you got fr5ed by them + Sean as a Custodi HC representative told you that Corsairs do not consider Unioners as friendly or allied and actually see them towards the hostile side because of the betrayal and whatnot? You don’t get to just ignore roleplay consequences because you don’t like them. It’s common sense that in order to be friends both sides have to agree to it. If one side tells the other to go away, they aren’t friends. We will get to it as soon as possible, thanks for pointing. Also if it was somewhere else, except Diplomacy sheet, could you provide me with links? Thanks. -UN| 2iC RE: Die Reichsarbeitergesellschaft der Alster (UN|) Feedback Thread - Antonio - 01-09-2019 It’s also a matter of dunc’s opinion, not just the info page. Sorry for looking forceful but that’s because dunc was very ignorant about the whole topic a few weeks ago and it seems nothing has changed - https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/419547093259255808/532359020569427994/image0.png The whole conversation is available on the main disco discord server, it’s not for the forums.
