Ok, mb52 had a suggestion that he relayed to me through Boss, and I quite quite like it.

could be an entirely new LPI HF.
Thoughts?

Tweaking that first link to be the new LPI LF is good. That's actually my favorite out of all the other prototypes you've come up with. I still think the side wings are kind of odd, but whatever.
As for the LPI HF...interesting idea. I say go for it. I'd suggest making the Defender-ish wings blend in with the Liberator texture though. Right now, it stands out a bit too much for my liking.

I like the first link, those wings on the side are nice, but i think the cockpit's colour needs to match the rest of the ship a bit better.
The second one is ok. If you're going to turn it into a heavy fighter, it needs to be beefed up a bit.
I like the new looking nephthys fin better, It gives the ship a sleaker feel to it. I'm a bit iffy about the pantom fins though. What if they where coming out of where the whings are, like a bit of an X thing.

Yes, this new Liberator is looking very nice! With those thiner fins it looks much lighter than with the thick ones.
The idea of a LPI HF is ..... interesting so to say. Of course, when we get a bomber we can also get a HF. Just, what would you think how many guns would you give it?

I do not know, first instinct is to say make the stats an average midrange hf, nothing super elite like the military but clearly better than mainstream run-of-the-mill.
I just want to build the model and infocard, someone else can pick the guns/power/shields etc etc etc :P

For the LPI HF, give it similar stats as the LN/LSF Executioner.

Nobody flies the MK I versions once they are set up. So these models keep the vanilla atmosphere of the game. Replacing them with kitbashes (no offence) destroys the atmosphere for me.
