Why do you people get so fussed over it, just do what I do, log your Hatchet and farm blue messages. I have, ever since I started driving Kusari capshiz longer ago, not ever before seen such a target-rich environment as Leeds etc. is at current times. This is trés delicieuse for Krieg. Krieg is good. Go get some more Krieg. The more targets, the better. Cleanse, purge, kill and slaughter everything in the Emperor's name. Outcast Dreadnought bothering you? Get two Hatchets on, hunt it down, kill it. Reinforcements showing up, too many to count? Get your caps out of the line of fire and get a fighter and bombersquad going. You undock into a horde of enemies? Call your buddies for help, then ENGAGE EVERYTHING YOU SEE FOR THE GLORY OF THE IMPERIUM AND EMPEROR MILKA.
I mean seriously, this "event" or whatever you want to call it has brought more sexy opportunities for Krieg than I can count. I've killed, I've been killed, but by the blood of King Leonidas, this is glorious stuff. I'm all "=D =D =D" because I put that hatchet I've to good use a couple times already, which is something that I usually find myself doing very, very rarely due to a lack of opportunities for Krieg. Hell I have to give the BAF massive Kudos for that activity they've displayed and for managing to respond to every single combat situation I've seen so far. You don't get stuff like that very often, and it's pretty steamy in a sexy way.
Krieg is good. Go get people deaded. Then get them deaded even better with more DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA.
But to the mechanics specifically, I don't much like that Bretonia has to farm XYZ number of stuffs while Kusari has to pvpwhore in order to stop them. I think it's a rather uneven setting where unless if you have near-constant 24/7 overwatch in the shape of a pwnsquad, it's going to be a real chore trying to stop people from farming more and more NPCs. Imo, giving both a set count of XYZ npcs to farm in systems ABC would've been a better idea rather than this, even if RP-wise it's not really that sensible, but neither are half a dozen Outcast Dreadnoughts hovering in Planet Leeds' lower orbit. Or are they?

Actually that is a very good point. Has anyone ever seen an Osiris or Legate camping Stokes? I understand brets and casts are butt buddies but seeing Ranseurs "defending" Leeds is just too much.
Other than that I think this has been a good exercise and it showed that events like this one can really raise activity in certain point around Sirius. Again, thank you Cannon !

There's precedense for silly thing like that having in-game consequence.... Oh wait, it's how this event came to be in the first place.

i love it how people moan about the MASSIVE OC CAP SPAM during this event... although i was the only dread around... I know im pretty much online 24/7, but im not schitzofrenic enough to actually play multiple dreads at once, or am i?
