Fair enough but as for Liberty, you could support the Hackers instead of sending your troops there.

well on subject of supporting the hackers. we where told to not do the all out 3 way gang bang on liberty a long time ago by the admins. because of the ammount of whoring that went on.
and quite frankly.... i dont like teaming up with our allies to take on someone. i find were big enough as is nevermind having another faction on support but dont get me wrong we will still help them when they are in need of it.
EDIT: though i have been thinking for some time to assign the squads to different sections of Sirius. a kusari squad a liberty squad etc. there would be no Rheinland one, and most likely no bretonia one. but its all just in the idea phase right now. infact what would everyone feel on this idea?
that way we could focus ourselves on more and in a more RP like way of doing things.
it would involve alot of inter faction mingling which is by far not a bad thing, would develop us a little more with the other factions and i reckon would make a nice change in pace.

I meant underhanded support instead of a direct one, as Soviets tended to do against US in Middle East, East Europe and Middle Asia..

im going to begin to compile all of our character bio's into our background thread also. this way we can have plenty of information on the faction and current members all in the one spot.
also everyone should refer to the edit in my last post and tell me how they feel on this one.

*Ahem* I'd like to point out that the 101st simply have a less diverse agenda, it is no dirtier at all than the RoS...we prefer to restrict our targets to the most pertinent of our enemies, namely the IMG and Corsairs.
I have to say, I dislike it when the RoS go into Liberty. The NPCs are there, but were I in the position of commanding a force that large I'd only authorize two or three Sabers or Falcattas for escorting Cardi haulers. The problem is is that the RoS always seem to manage to get into fights. All that should happen is Jumphole-Buffalo-Jumphole or Jumphole-Alcatraz-Jumphole and we never see them. I don't think that's very likely myself. I might jump a few tradelanes, but I'd definitely be very, very cautious about it. That's my real dig here.

I don't think regional squads are a great idea, to be honest. They look good, but you'll end up leaving your assigned buddies to help your mates.
An option though, is to have each of the 3 subfactions select a 'home base', perhaps.
For instance, one could use Malta, one Ruiz and one Cali, maybe?

As cool as that is it's very hard to RP it in a meaningfull way, all we could do is simply provide cash, but that seems to be in far too ready supply in this game...
The only way to provide support would be to station a few ships with them on call for some action should we be needed. I love the idea of factions working together, it's fun, however there are very few ways of offering support in a non military fashion, due to the limitations of the game.

well we do support the LH in ways to be honest, infact me and moriarty have a nice little trade ship stationed on the planet where we do all our dealings on. quite a nice little idea to be honest.

Trying to be everywhere is just unnecessary labor. You have the ties and allies for reaching where you can not actively and oftenly due to the business you primarily ought to stay loyal to and keep an eye on.
