Might be a bit relevant, but I RP my Firefly transport with a crew of six:

- Captain
- XOfter driver
- Navigator/pilot
- Technical Officer
- Engineer
- Work experience kid

I imagine a gunboat would be about the same.

Excuse the trekker in me...

the Bird of prey would be more gunboat-class than cruiser. Those things had a standard of 40 or so crew members tops, most ran with far less than that.

and to onca... i'm pretty close with my firefly as well, crew of five - captain(and pilot), merc/gunner, ex lane hacker, engineer, and diplomat/vip.

Do you need to have humans for your crew? In all my ships, that need more than one person to run the ship, I RP that they are all humanoid robots with AI.

Is that acceptable?

there's robots at docking control centers, i dont see why not.

Eve Infinity right? I was thinking of buying that game, but I wasn't sure. Is it more like FL or like WoW? I mean do you fly in a ship, or do you control an entire fleet from top view; I didn't understand the Wikipedia page or the box in the game store when it came to this.
