After receiving information from an 'anonymous tip' of sorts, the Ven'Gyr was sent to West Point to take out a Solaris Dreadnought. The informant was dead on, as the Dreadnought took heavy damage and was forced to dock. This didn't go un-noticed however. I headed back to Colorado with a Liberator and two Dreadnoughts in hot pursuit. After some quick thinking, the Incursus was called out to scare them off, which was successful. The first Dreadnought suffered technical problems and couldn't fire, the second took some hull damage before successfully getting away. Additionally, I did a patrol a couple days ago with my Sabre and hit paydirt. Under stress from New York, Myself and an Outcast fought each other until I managed to get the upper hand and destroy her.

Today was a damn good day for the Legion. We setup for a 'Hammer Down' class operation, rallying in California. After our forces gathered full strength, with the Iblis, Ven'Gyr, and Incursus, along with two of the Zeta squad, and Jason Hughes and Rondo Lannister. The Zeta fighters Scouted for targets, and we hit paydirt. The first thing they found was a Naval battle group at Riverside. The capital ships initiated Hammer Down, and soon enough the fighters were engaged by the Naval ships. The Ven'Gyr and Incursus moved in, and scared their capital ships back to Riverside, at which point our battleships shot down a LSF Siege Cruiser named Montgomery. They then fell back to a more potent position. In the meanwhile, the fighters were having trouble with a Gunboat, but with the assistance of the Iblis, it fell. With our Battleships sliding down from above, their Dreadnought, LNS-Avar fell quickly to their fire. They also soon fired on a AI Cruiser, which was forced to dock on Riverside. They then diverted fire to another Siege Cruiser which also was destroyed. While moving back to a good perimeter of Riverside, an Ageira Light Fighter that had been shooting our fighters was put out of action by one of the Zeta fighters. We also found another Dreadnought, which was destroyed. After this, we decided not to push our luck and retired on Ouray.

Today was another successful day for the Legion.
Did some pretty heavy damage to the Navy, and didn't take many losses either.
The first stage happened without me, but it took down some amount of Navy ships.
The follow images are from Meallan Dagon's Gun Cam.

Dreadnought Being Forced to Dock
LABC Downed

[color=#FF0000]Stage 2

Stage two is a part I was in. We rallied a sizable fleet of our ships, and made preparations to attack. However, it seemed the LNS Fleet that has assembled had fled the scene. In place was a swarm of LPI Liberators, and Fleet Admiral Hale's Guardian. While the fleet was being organized, the Iblis and several fighters managed to catch an LPI Liberator that had been flying in front of our fleet for a long time. We then returned our Capital vessels to a secure location and hopped into Fighters. A battle ensued at Manhattan, with the first casualty being an LNS Gunboat, and then an LPI Liberator hitting himself with a mine. After this, an LPI Liberator got shot by Dagon. All this time however, I was dueling Hale. He who managed to dock before I could finish him off. After that we headed back, with our mission accomplished.

Did a quick patrol on my new Bayonet. Didn't find anything other then a silent Guardian.

[color=#33FFFF]Much more interestingly, I had a chat with an LPI Roc that might as well divulged the propertires of TLAGSNET, which, according to my info, probably is some form of tracking via Jump Gates or Trade Lanes. Maybe both. Sending a copy of some recordings.

[font=Fixedsys]Today my artificial self came to the realization that this recently acquired ability to take command of Legion assets as necessary can have rather amusing as well as destructive consequences. Were the I able to properly replicate laughter then it would be the only thing you would hear now. Instead however enjoy the following.

Quite entertaining for a change, but if repeated daily rather bothersome, much to my dismay. As such I have taken it upon my artificial self to oversee the final preparations for the official commissioning of the Cruiser "Exaclibur" instead before focusing my attention on other matters.

Yesterday we managed to score another victory against the LNS forces. We scrambled our forces, seemed a lot of people wanted to shoot at them yesterday, so they gladly took that chance. The Iblis and some other smaller forces tried to bait, in order to lure the LNS into a trap. It took quite some time and we prepared our forces for the battle near the NY Jumpgate in California.

The trap was set and the captains of the LNS got unpatient and started to be unorganized. They fell for the trap and jumped into California, directly into us. We opened fire and hit hard on the enemy vessels, one Carrier and a couple of Dreads. Their hulls could not stand our forces and the battle was over after some time. No losses on the HF side, the LNS got destroyed.

Fleet Captain Kapell was able to take some guncam shots during the battle.

Two Legionnaires deserve a promotion, they have shown the necessary ablilities to advance in their career:

Lieutenant [color=#33CC00]Wilson Carse has been promoted to [color=#33CC00]Major.

Major Carl Anders has been promoted to Fleet Commander.

That would be all.

First of all I would like to thank High Command for promotion, Im deeply honoured.

This report will be short, because it was quick hint and run hunting mission.
Intel we gathered said there are some capital ships around New York. And they were right.
First we spotted Solaris Dreadnought
Soon after that second one came, though unfortunately for him we had some nice backup and shortly after,
we could enjoy this beautiful sight .
More scrap in NY space added

Adding process: result success

And now seems we do have some new 'lawful' group around NY.
Here are some datas about those..

Unfortunately I wasnt able to make close ups, they are flying Guardians though.
In this situation we were forced to tactical retreat, and Ven took care of Dread that left LNS-Apache.
Summary: 2 Enemy Dreadnoughts down. Ven'Gyr unharmed left NY space.

And about my little investigation, well its still in process... I dont expect much though.

One more time we just made it quick and clear, with surgical precision.
Due to my little patrol I noticed one LNS ship near Manhattan planet.
I managed to call for some backup, to show him how Fire taste.

Lets start from the beginning though. I went to talk with this pilot. And again, the same virus...
I dont know, maybe it causes decapitation of tongue? I must definitely look up to it... It may be useful for my Gal sometimes.
So after short chat I decided that I dont really like monologues. My SNAC though loves such bricks

Little de-shielding manoeuvres were just prelude to grande finale. Which came shortly after.

As I said, it was like removing appendix. After whole thing done we just went to a bar in compagna scelta.

Libera Te Ex Inferis,
Carse, over and out.

Hellfire Legion Message Dump (AO) - Blighter - 08-31-2011

My artificial self makes an appearance here on behalf of the Legion High Command in order to announce a change in strategic operations.

As of this point in time, the Hellfire Legion and the Rheinland Arbeitergewerkschaft's Unioner Department have entered a small-scale alliance. Said alliance encompasses the terms of the Legion's former agreement with the organization which is still in effect, as well as several new points worth noting.

As a reminder, the old agreement which is still in effect states the following:

[font=Agency FB]1[color=#FFFF99]: The Hellfire Legion will grant the AGS access to Monterrey base, and ship construction facilities contained therein.

[color=#FFFFFF]2[color=#FFFF99]:
Legion forces will provide the AGS with fire support when applicable. (ie; against Liberty Navy, Rheinland Military, SCRA)

3: The Hellfire Legion will link the following systems, scanned and updated once every five minutes by our Spyglass scanning array to all AGS vessles; Texas, Bering, Hudson, Hamburg, New Hampshire, Minnesota, Quebec.

4: Intel on all SCRA sightings within Liberty and the Borderworlds.

5: An appropriate amount of money per slave(s) freed.

The currently new additions are as follows:

[font=Agency FB]1: The Hellfire Legion will not interfere with AGS smuggling operations involving Blood Diamonds and Artifacts in any way.

[color=#FFFFFF]2[color=#FFFF99]:
The Hellfire Legion is permitted to station a task-force in the Bering system in order to conduct raiding operations as well as attacks of opportunity on Rheinland Military and Liberty Navy targets in the solar systems Bering, Hudson and Texas.

2A: In order to do the above, the Legion is granted the use of one of Pacifica Base's two main hangar bays to deposit strike-craft as well as to rearm, refuel and conduct maintenance on them.

2B: Additionally the Legion is granted mooring services for the capital assets which are part of the aforementioned task-force.

3: The Legion and the AGS may conduct joint raiding and assault as well as defensive operations - the latter most likely will not become necessary due to Pacifica's remote and shrouded location.

3A: Legion forces are to cooperate with and to aid the AGS forces beyond the level of the previous agreement in direct offensive operations. Working together with the AGS is as of now mandatory for all elements of the task-force.

4: Legion forces are not to interfere in the AGS's endeavors which encompass piracy, extortion, or even minor acts of terrorism. The task-force has a different modus operandi which my artificial self will outline further below.

4A: Likewise, the AGS will not conduct any of the aforementioned acts while Legion forces are present. This is in both organization's mutual interest.

All Legionaries are to act according to the terms outlined above. Should any issues with AGS forces arise, a report is to be made and submitted to Legion High Command so the High Command can decide on a further course of action as necessary. Acts of aggression against AGS forces are prohibited under any and all circumstances.

The aforementioned task-force, designated "Task-Force Gladius", operates under the direct command of Executive Commander Hunter and is being stationed in the Bering system's Tanner Asteroid Belt as well as on Pacifica Base. The main areas of operation are the solar systems Bering, Hudson and Texas.

Quote:[font=Fixedsys]Task-Force Gladius includes the following Legion capital assets:

ELINT / Tactical Fire Support Battleship Incursus (Task-Force Gladius Flagship)
Light Siege / Heavy Interdiction Cruiser Excalibur
Light Siege / Heavy Interdiction Cruiser Damocles

TF Gladius' accompanying strike-craft will operate from Pacifica mostly due to the limited hangar capabilities of the Incursus.

TF Gladius' modus operandi has the primary focus of assaulting and destroying mobile capital assets and high-value targets of the Rheinland Military and Liberty Navy together with the AGS' Unioner Department, ideally Battleship-class targets of the Bismarck class when it comes to the Military, as well as Titania and Overlord class vessels of the Liberty Navy. Engagements against excessive numbers of strike-craft are a secondary concern, as are assaults on hostile installations or otherwise. Speed and efficiency are key, ensuring survival of the capital assets is a primary concern. The limited deployment of capital assets necessitates that Gladius will not partake in prolonged engagements as well as engagements between the Military and Navy encompassing whole full-scale fleets. Assaulting targets of opportunity or intercepting enemy reinforcements traversing the aforementioned systems as they are on the way to a battle area is the most strategically as well as tactically valid option. Likewise, the authorization of the Hammer-Down doctrine is rarely going to be a valid option given Gladius' composition. The only persona able to authorize Hammer-Down for Task-Force Gladius are Lord Commander Markson and Executive Commander Hunter.

Policing operations and the guarding of civilian assets are of no major concern to Gladius, as the trade embargo present in conjunction with the extremely hostile war-zone nature of the environment has put a halt to most civilian traffic in the area. Operations of that kind are only to be undertaken if given the order by Lord Commander Markson or Executive Commander Hunter.

Quote:Due to the stationing of Task-Force Gladius in Bering the composition of capital assets in Task-Force Warhammer, stationed in Colorado's Silverton Asteroid Field as well as on Ouray Base, has changed to the following:

Assault Dreadnought Ven'Gyr (Task-Force Warhammer Flagship)
Heavy Fire Support / Multi-Role Battleship Libertine
Assault Battlecruiser Last Sunrise
Light Fire Support Destroyer Iblis
Assault / Multi-Role Destroyer Abbaddon

As well as the accompanying strike-craft operating from aboard the Ven'Gyr, Libertine as well as Ouray Base.

Warhammer remains under joint command of Lord Commander Markson and Executive Commander Hunter as necessary and the modus operandi remains unchanged.

Quote:The composition of rear-guard capital assets stationed in Vespucci has not been changed:

Experimental Battleship Revenant (Rear-Guard Flagship)
Assault Dreadnought Ravager
Multi-Role Battleship Fate's Hand

Strike-craft and other rear-guard contingents stationed in Vespucci remain unchanged as well.

All rear-guard assets will continue to operate under direct command of Lord Commander Markson.

Executive Commander Hunter's biological self will notify strike-craft squadrons and otherwise regarding re-assignment and deployment as necessary in the near future, most likely over different channels.
