RE: One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - Shaggy - 08-21-2017 ![]() Date: April 1st 824 A.S
ID: Officer James O'Brian Current Location: Planet Manhattan, New York System. Priority: Standard Subject: Patrol 2 Ma'am, This is Officer O'Brian making a second report since my return, earlier this afternoon I came across two smugglers. Transponders where reading Gorgeous.Rainbow.Train and a Hollow. I first was informed about some suspicious behaviour and cargo when they approached sector C-4 within Colorado. At this time I called for some 5th Fleet assistance who was also patroling the area. The assistance was given and we proceeded to set up an ambush for Gorgeous.Rainbow.Train who we had some knowledge about having cardamine onboard. The ambush was set up and worked perfectly. Catching two smugglers not just one. Managing to bring them both to a full halt, getting names from both of them and for both of them to jettison their contrband. The pilot of Gorgeous.Rainbow.Train, well Mr Richard Grey kept trying to escape, with bribes, or just casually attempting to flee and then claim his vessel was faulty. From what I can understand Mr Richard Grey managed to moor with Pueblo Station after being chased by a few 5th patrol vessels, but the pilot of the Hollow was escorted securely out via Kepler. All evidence regarding these two pilots will be attached into the case files as well as blackbox recordings. There were several of our Laws broken by two pilots. Hauling Contraband of Cardamine, both flying unpermitted Pirate Trains and Mr Grey attempted bribrary of a Liberty Police Officer. This is all for now. Officer James O'Brian. ![]() [EVIDENCE]
RE: One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - casualty - 09-14-2017 Officer Name: Paul Morgan Standard Date: 824-09-14 ![]() Greetings, Officer Paul Morgan reporting patrol in New York and Texas systems. I departed from Fort Bush at 1430 standard time. While proceeding to Texas Jump Gate, I spotted a suspicious ship identified as Police IFF. However, upon closer inspection I found out that it is in fact a freelancer flying a ship that matches Hathor-class gunboat produced by illegal entity known as The Order. According to paragraph II of the section 3 of Lawful Code of Liberty, I ordered the pilot to leave Liberty space immediately or surrender the ship. After a series of warnings, the offender moved towards Colorado Jump Gate. I escorted it to One Police Plaza station, where he docked and, presumably, surrendered the ship. I moved back to New York system and located Junker gunboat belonging to Liberty Rogues. The ship was already engaged by Navy gunboat patrol and went down quickly before I could interfere in the combat. Finally, I proceeded to Texas system and delivered a few criminals to LPI Huntsville facility. Morgan over and out. Officers, It is with a hint of sadness that I announce to you that Morten Helberg has decided to retire from his position as Chief of Police and appoint me as the subsequent leader. I hope that I will be able to execute the responsibilities of the first in command of the Force with ability. Now, the Force has long called for at least a slight bit of corporate restructuring, the first phase of which has been successfully completed. We have too long suffered from outdated documentation, ancient security systems and unclear and intelligible transmission protocols. With the assistance of several private technicians and software engineers hired from my own pocket I am glad to say those problems have been resolved. Additionally, the system of promotions and career progressions has been updates, as were the structures of divisions and precincts so as to be more reflective of the current situation in Liberty. I believe that is all. In service of Liberty, Commissioner Dawn Liberty Police, Inc. RE: One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - mayu20 - 10-23-2017 ![]() ![]() To: One Police Plaza Subj: Patrol Log #6 Evening. I started my shift at 16:00 from Forth Bush, New York System. After patrolling the New York, I've moved to Texas. I was half way thorough the system when TLAGSNET picked up something in California. A ship just jumped in the system from Magellan System with a cargo full of Artifacts. I've rushed back in New York, hopping I will catch the smuggler before he reaches his destination. I took the trade lanes toward Norfolk Shipyard and the scanner just pint pointed him near Riverside Station, by that time I was already near West Point, so I took the lanes to the California Jump Gate and waited for him to jump in. It wasn't long and he was in my scanner range. Once scanned, it confirmed TLAGSNET readings. He was carrying a cargo full of Artifacts. After questioning him about his destination and point of origin, I concluded that his target was Rochester Base, and from what he told me, his point of origin was Freeport 9. I would not trust him too much to be telling the truth, but it is worth opening a investigation on that subject. He cooperated well enough to my demands, and that is to drop his cargo and to pay a fine. He didn't seem to know that Artifacts are illegal in Liberty. He did drop his cargo, but he didn't had any credits for the fine. Judging by his ship and how unskilled at smuggling is, I suspect he is new to the criminal life. After he dropped the cargo in space, I made sure to destroy the cargo pods to make sure the Artifacts never reach their destination, and escorted him out of Liberty Space. RE: One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - mayu20 - 10-24-2017 ![]() ![]() To: One Police Plaza Subj: Patrol Log #7 Officer Walker reporting in. My shift started at 23:00 from Forth Bush, New York system. Just as I undocked I got a civilian stating that a Outcast warship was present in Liberty space, in front of Manhattan to be exact. So I took the trade lanes as fast as I could. Upon arriving at the scene, my scanner picked up the Outcast capital vessel. It was not long until I could make visual contact too, the ship was enormous. Luckily for me the Navy was already on scene, fighting the ship. After disengaging my weapons lock, I went in to offer what assistance I could. The Outcast capital vessel had a loadout consisting mainly of weapons against small crafts, so I tried to keep a safe distance, while launching cruise disruptors to prevent the ship from leaving the area. With the assistance of Navy's big guns the threat has been eliminated and all of the surviving crew that managed to escape in pods has been picked up and moved to a safe location for processing. I've continued my patrol without other events. Signed, Officer Sarah Walker, New York Precinct. RE: One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - mayu20 - 10-25-2017 ![]() ![]() To: One Police Plaza Subj: Patrol Log #8 Report number 8, date: 25/10/824. As usual, my patrol started from Forth Bush, New York system. I've activated my TLAGSNET and took the trade lanes to the Colorado system. I had some papers to drop on One Police Plaza, so I decided to start from there. After a brief visit to the archives and evidence room, I got back in the ship and finished patrolling Colorado. On my way to planet Los Angeles, I saw a trader and decided to run a routine inspection on his ship. He had a cargo full of Silver Ore, but what got my attention was his cargo manifest, and his statement. He told me that his point of origin was Elysium Station located in Vespucci system, and he was heading to Planet Denver, Colorado. I don't know if its true or not, but it was not enough to detain him for further questioning. I do recommend a investigation on this subject, and maybe adding this ship to our database to keep a better track. After a couple of hours of nothing out of the ordinary, I picked up something on TLAGSNET coming from Texas system. I made my way to Norfolk Shipyard and waited for the ship. As the ship arrived, it was a cargo vessel full of ambassadors. I don't know how did those ambassadors got on his ship, or why they were trying to travel in such conditions. Nevertheless I informed the captain of the ship that it is not allowed in Liberty space for more than 650 humans to travel on cargo ships, and directed him to Norfolk Shipyard to leave the surplus there, where they can wait proper transportation to their destination. The captain and his crew cooperated and did as informed. There were no further incidents. Signed, Officer Sarah Walker, New York Precinct. RE: One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - casualty - 10-26-2017 ![]() To: One Police Plaza Subj: Patrol Report Greetings, I started my patrol from West Point Academy today around 4:30 standard time and started standard routine around New York. However, in the lane from West Point to Norfolk Shipyard I spotted a few ships belonging to Triple Hazard Pay and a dormant Outcast Ranseur-class Dreadnaught. I immediately interrupted trade lane sequence and got visual ID of the battleship. Soon another THP ship arrived at the scene, a civilian carrier with inventive callsign Mama.Brick. The captain of the vessel offered his services to remove the Outcast ship from the Liberty space. It turned out that the ship has Jump Drive which captain Brooks used to jump the dreadnaught out of New York system. I wired him 5 million credits for this service and proceeded with my patrol. In the meantime, I was contacted by a vessel named 'Krabby'-Patty, a Junker gunship. They complained that some unnamed DSE vessel attacked them earlier. The reason for attack allegedly was that the Junker ship transported something called Kemwer Munitions. When I asked to explain what it is, the Junker stated that it is an ordinance produced by organization known as The Order. I will keep eyes open for this kind of munitions and try to collect more evidence to decide how to handle such in the future. After conversation with the Junker, I continued my patrol. No other notorious events or encounters happened this day.. Officer Paul Morgan, Colorado Precinct. Attachments: - ID Identification - RE: One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - Goldberg - 10-31-2017 ![]() To: Planet Los Angeles Subj: Patrol Report Greetings, I started my patrol from Planet Manhatten where I already got my first alert message from the TL Net, reporting a Outcast Vessel called "Rapier" near Norfolk Shipyard. When I arrived the scene, the Outcast was already trigger happy and managed to disable a trade lane while heading towards the Texas Jumpgate. Only one Lane later he already jumped out, where I started to inform him about the Liberty Laws and which one he was breaking, while also telling him to lower his shields and prepare for arresting. His reactions forced me to use my weapons against him, which didn't end very well for him. When the fight was over, I headed back to Planet Manhatten where already the next problem waiting for me, a Xeno Alliance Gunboat called "Retribution". The pilot wasn't really happy to see me and engaged me after a few words, luckily the Fith Fleet Gunboat vessel LNS-Achilles arrived in time to support me, after a few hits on the Achilles the "Retribution" finally exploded and the ship was put into some small pieces of scrap. After the fight against the Xeno, we found a Gallic Armored Transport called "Nebuleuse" entering Manhattens orbit where I immediately told the Docking Ring crew to disable their docking rings for this ship. After informing the Pilot that he was breaking the Liberty laws and telling him to contact the Government about a license to use this ship in Liberty Space, I escorted him out. That was all. Recruit Officer Jack Peterson . After finishing filing some documents on ongoing cases, I went ahead to gather more data and maybe find some evidence on the increasing transport of illegal substances like cardamine, and illegal goods like artifacts in Liberty. I undocked from Forth Bush and headed towards Colorado system, since that's a system with high traffic of smugglers and other criminal elements. I also had to stop by at One Police Plaza to access some files on the library there. I went to check first with the Battleship Rio Grande's sensors to cross-reference with our data, but when I got close, my radar picked up multiple readings. When I exited the trade lane, a fight was going on between Liberty Navy and the Hellfire Legion. After issuing multiple warnings to vacate the area I went and assisted the naval forces. After heavy fighting, two of the Hellfire Legion ships exploded, I am lead to believe they had a miscommunication and their warheads detonated preemptive, both ships exploding in the blast. The naval forces either had to fall back, or got destroyed in the fight. In the end, it was just me, a Legion bomber, fighter and a Outcast that came out of nowhere. I was too busy staying alive and I didn't saw him on my radar, but when I did, I immediately scanned his ship for our criminal records. Please keep and eye on this "Rapier" pilot. He flies a CQV-Gen I Maltese Very Heavy Fighter armed with prototype weapons. He's very dangerous and should not be engaged alone or without backup standing by. As soon as he entered weapons range, he engaged me. I broke off the engagement with the Legion, and targeted him instead. After a extensive battle, the Legion fighter's mine chamber must had been hit and suffered a internal explosion, igniting the other mines and destroying the ship. I did manage to see the other Legion ship pick up a escape pod and flying away. At this point the Outcast vessel, being heavily damaged by both me and the Legion fighter, kept shooting at my ship. Myself being low on defensive batteries and cruise disruptors, I manged to do a hard pull to left while dropping a mine. After I almost blacked out from the G's that maneuver required, I noticed my ship being hit by debris. I checked my radar for any targets in the area, but none were present. I scanned the debris and it belong to the Outcast vessel. I could not detect his escape pod, so its uncertain if he survived, or the mine hit him before he could react and eject from his flaming ship. After I managed to lower my heart beats, and calm myself, I picked up something floating in space, near the battlefield. It was a small cargo pod filled with something called Planetoid Ore. My scanner and ship computer could not analyze it and so I transported it to the Police warehouse on planet Manhattan. The warehouse clerk there told me he heard about this ore on the news. And that it came from Omicron Delta. I don't know if its worth anything, but I wanted to make sure I mention it on my report, just in case that ore "goes missing". After all, we had some samples gone missing from our warehouses on the planets. That would be all. Signed, Detective Sarah Walker, Vice Unit, New York Precinct. RE: One Police Plaza (iRP) (FO) - mayu20 - 12-01-2017 ![]() ![]() To: One Police Plaza Subj: Patrol Log #10 Patrol Log, 1st December, 824 A.S. My shift started at 19:00 from Forth Bush. After a full lane patrol in Texas, New York, California and Colorado, I moved in front of Manhattan to begin traffic monitoring. The TLAGSNET detected a suspicious vessel in the Colorado system, moving towards New York. I decided to move out and investigate. While monitoring the NET, the target exited the lane somewhere between the Pueblo Station and the New York Gate. After that, the NET could not find its location. I waited a couple of minutes by the gate, hoping he will jump in, but nothing came through. Seeing as he is nowhere to find on long range scans, I came to the conclusion he took an alternative route, so I made haste towards Rochester. My hunch was right, he was within 8km of the station when I picked him on the scanner. As I rushed towards him, he managed to get docking clearance from the station. I did manage to approach close enough to get some scans of the ship. I was too late though, he was already docking by the time I was there. I did not bother to ask for a station inspection, since the junkers would had required me to show a search warrant, since they know such a warrant would take time to get, enough for them to clear the cargo hold when I came back with the warrant. Just keep a eye out. I am sure this pilot is not at his first job as a smuggler. After that, I returned in orbit of Manhattan to keep surveying the NET. The traffic was high, lots of traders, freelancers and corporate ships. But with all that data to filter, one did stand out. A Liberty Rogue. He was in the middle of the trade lanes between Manhattan and West Point Academy. He did manage to stop a trader and he was attempting to extort him. I rushed at the scene, but just as I exited the trade lane, he entered and made a quick run towards Manhattan. I followed him, but he already got the advantage. I did mange to chase him off through the Colorado systems until he made his escape in Galileo system via a jump hole. While I was returning back to Manhattan, close to the planet I encountered a Corsair Warship, fighting Navy. I jumped right in, trying to keep the ship disrupted so it can not escape. The Navy was swift and their batteries made quick work of the ship, leaving nothing but a field of debris for the junkers to collect. No civilian was hurt in the attack, it seems like the warship was operating alone. I do believe this warship is somehow connected to the increase activity in smuggling of artifacts. It could be that the Corsairs are making a more aggressive move on the Libertonian Black Market. I must say it is odd on how such a warship could get trough all the way from deep Omegas, into the heart of Liberty. I do feel the Liberty Security Forces are slacking. That is all.
