If I were to gather an entire group of people to troll and flame the Discovery community at large and circumvented the banhammer every time it was brought down before me, how would the community react if I were to be given a full pardon by the admins, with everyone knowing full-well that it was only a matter of time until I got bored of being "good"?

It (The Community) should honestly feel relieved and take it as a breather time, because regardless of hypothetical scenarions, Doj & Jetblack are still here screwing around here in the meantime.

Of course, the keyword is "should". The number of players trying to (fruitlessly) ruin the game for Doj and Jetblack, combined with the potential forum outcry if they were to be unbanned would be more disrupting than the two could ever care to be even right now, which is why I think the more civil, logical option for the community is the first one. It's the one with the most gains, overall.

Yes, that must be it, everything else didn't happen. I feel like celebrating now that Doj, out of the decency of his heart, might give the whole entire community a little breather time. The civility of this logic is reeling, how generous of him. It's cool too how extortionists shake down money from shop keepers in exchange for leaving them unharassed for about a week, absolutely civil gentlemen.....well...you get the picture.

I'm gonna keep that quote, I'd hate for such a gem of wisdom to get lost in the flood.

It's your right to disagree, but it's in my right to feel offended by the tone of your post. If you feel like disagreeing, you can do so silently, or be constructive and actually point out actual flaws in my ideas, instead of acting like an aha.

The irony of your statement doesn't need my words, it can be shown with your own quotes from the forums and skype. I feel just as compelled to not withhold my silence and release my opinion and criticism as you have over and over. If you think it's in my job description to kowtow to your indignation, guess again. Welcome to Flood.

I do welcome all attempts to paint me as the black horse. That admin chat knows I've been wondering for a very long time when I'd get my turn to be the biased corrupt admin. All these other admins who were never trolls like I had always been seem to get picked on but me.

I personally have only encountered Doj. After my first few days on Disco I was quite angry at most "official" factions with "old timers" who seemed to stretch in-game rules very thin when dealing with nobodies like me. I was about to give up on this server. Anyway, I met Doj in a dogfight and we started talking. He chose to not disrespect me despite being a newb, taught me stuff about the game, let me fly around with him and he was always up for a chat. Definitely some of my best days on Disco, but unfortunately he disappeared shortly after and I kind of lost interest so I pretty much stopped playing.

It was indeed the case that Doj would speak poorly of the official factions as well as the admins and such, but since I had some pretty bad experiences with them from the start, and because I was pretty impressionable at the time I listened. My point is, if someone from these official factions would have taken me in instead, and told me all this stuff about Doj, I am sure I would think he is the douchiest person on the server and vote "Hell no!", just like I see so many other people do.

Which is why I think it's pretty stupid when I see posts like "Well from what I have heard of you..." or "This one time he killed my newbie friend..."

I don't know, I might be unique in the sense that I have actually played and enjoyed Disco with Doj, whereas many other people in the thread might simply have encountered him as an adversary, but I definitely do not know Doj as a massive douche. Rather, he was the sole reason I kept playing and enjoying Disco.

Cheers!
That's sweet. Another hundred or so stories like yours and we might even get close to some karmic balance for the damage he's caused by camping newbs for the lulz.

RE: Poll: Jetblack & Doj - Duvelske - 06-14-2013

In my view everyone deserves a second change. People can change. Honestly i have seen many other people trolling around others. Am not going to meantion names, but it makes you think. If they just obey to the Rules as everyone else i do not see a problem why not to let them play. If they bring activity and have fun then why not?

RE: Poll: Jetblack & Doj - Omicron - 06-14-2013

Duv. You are not on this sever enough to know Doj is waaaaaaaaay past his second chance.
